My order was 2.75 hours late and I only received it because I kept chasing the company. The chat was unresponsive and I had to call in to customer service as the restaurant in order to get any assistance. No one answers the customer service line for customers. The restaurant had the order waiting and it became cold. I was offered $5 credit. They thought that was a reasonable compensation for my ruined family meal. If I could give zero stars I would do so.

I am only giving 1 star because 0 is not an option. Please use any other delivery service available to you, save yourself the headache. For context, I have been using Skip for over a year due to it being the first delivery company in my country. Over the past year there has maybe been a handful of deliveries that went good. At least 80% of the time they screw up. The issue is they hire people who cant read maps or GPS. I tried it out, you can literally get a job with them by filling out an online form without ever speaking to a human. Most if not all negative situations came from incompetent drivers and was no fault of the restaurants. When there is issues you start a live chat and 9/10 times the operator makes you feel like you're in the wrong for their mistakes. It's like pulling teeth to get what you paid for. The worst part is when the drivers turn a 10 minute delivery into an hour delivery, its like pulling teeth to get even a portion refunded and they still make you pay the tip? Terrible business, terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs

Two orders were not delivered and they gave me credit for PART of the order and ZERO for the second order. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Order took over an hour because delivery driver kept taking new orders and driving all over my town. They were only a couple blocks from my house, (with my food) then proceeded to drive to the other side of town to make another delivery. Food was cold and when I contacted support (after waiting in a long queue) they finally responded then left the chat without helping at all. Now at the back of the queue again I had to wait until finally speaking with another support staff. They offered half a refund, after refusing their half refund. Another 30 min later I finally got my money back, save yourself the hassle. Door dash has some problems too sometimes but their support is much better at least. I think I’m done with these food delivery apps but if I was to use one again skip the dishes would not be an option, absolutely terrible. Very unsatisfied customer

I would give their online chat staff a 0. Took over almost an hour on their online chat for something that shouldn’t have taken more than 5 minutes. Slow response every time I wrote something. Very frustrating!!

Every thing is wrong they don't care about customers they block u from reviewing ur order if it's not a good experience.. the time frames on restaurants are never on point usually 20 + min what they say and when u speak to skip they never care ..I hade 2 people leave the conversation and had to give my order # 3 different times when I was just trying to find out why it was taking so long

They never let you know they have delivered your meal. I'm handicapped ♿️ so how do you expect me to get outside to pick up my meal? Your service has gone down over the years. Time to switch to Uber eats.

What a joke I ordered and never received a thing, complained and they said nothing they could do...never will use again..what a pathetic company no wonder there are so many 1 star reviews...2% of reveiwers would recommend Skip the Dishes ..wow that speaks volumes.

These pathetic losers deserve negative stars and to watch their business go bankrupt. Too many orders being delivered to the wrong place and when it does manage, by some grace of god, to actually make it to the right place, its 45 mins late and cold af. Also quit hiring illegals....Skip the dishes is like meth. Not even once.

Horrible service. Watched the driver go everywhere but to my house to deliver. Made a complaint amd then he left our food with bag wide open. Gross. Cancelled my skip account and months later found fraudulent charges on my credit card. Bunch of criminals. Beware. Don’t use skip the dishes.

Our first experience with Skip The dishes was a disaster. If they had a Zero, that's what they would get! My husband and I are 75 years old and completely immobile. We were celebrating our 56-Wedding Anniversary and because of our physical issues we thought we would order out and have it delivered. The "Skip the Dishes" site didn't work AT ALL! The "Canadian Brewhouse" has no phone number on their site to contact them and "The Atlantic Kitchen" couldn't care less about our difficulties in having their food delivered. First- and last-time using Skip.

Ordered meals. Was delivered sandwiches... Zero means by which to contact skip to correct. Have asked them to delete my account. Will use reputable services from now on.

The problem with Skip is that their delivery people don't read delivery instructions most of the time, or deliver either to wrong places or don't at all God knows what they do with the food and their customer service is so robotic that there is no way to fix a recurring issue because they ll just copy-paste the same response to whatever complain you have. Today is the last day I use them because I can't contact them every single time my food is not delivered, it sounds like I am making it up. Sometimes they are prompt and will follow up on late orders but most of the time the food just doesn't arrive and all they can give is credit after much follow-up on my side.

Placed an order today and the site said that delivery was 20-30 minutes and I've ordered from this restaurant using Skip the Dishes before. I got a message 40 minutes after ordering saying the driver was on his way. The website map had him sitting at the restaurant since about 1:15 pm, the site said he left at 1:40. Was on chat with someone who cancelled the order and said I wouldn't get the order. A decent customer service person would have given me a refund for the inconvenience and delivered the food, especially since I'm doing a live online course today and had limited time for lunch. I've had delivery issues before that I overlooked, but this was the straw that breaks the camels back. I'll never order from this company again.

Our latest (and FINAL) issue with Skip the Dishes happened tonight when, rather than following the very explicit directions (explicit because of the wandering around being done by previous deliverers who couldn't follow instructions), our food (ice cream and what should have been warm food) was left in the Visitor Parking area of our building...outside. I only found it because the delivery person never dialed our unit so I went out to see if, again, someone was wandering around outside--but, I found our food sitting outside of the building. I requested a refund because the food was uneatable and was told I could only get a 50% refund because the food was "delivered". What a great racket they have going! Give really, really bad service and only have to give up 50% of their income because the food was "delivered"...not eatable, but "delivered". Skip the Dishes has become the community joke for our building because they are constantly leaving food orders sitting outside the building...on the sidewalk...in Visitor Parking. Steer clear of these crooks.

Ordered dinner and my food never came. Got credit to replace my order and it wasn't delivered a second time. Ended up skipping dinner and going to bed. So much food waste and no explanation why the driver didn't deliver to my house

I live in an apartment. Instructions clearly say how to buzz in and then to leave food at the apartment door. Tracker says the food was delivered, but no food. Even checked the front lobby because their lazy drivers have left it there before. I get on the chat with them and tell them that I didn't receive my order. The only thing they offered was a refund. He said the driver confirmed the delivery so that's all he could offer. I told him "With all due respect, your driver is lying to you. Couldn't have got in without buzzing, didn't knock on the apartment door, and there was no food." He says he'll submit my complaint about the driver (not likely). At this point I was done with these guys, so I just asked for the refund. He tells me the refund has been processed. I asked if it was sent back to my original card and he says no. Because the driver confirmed the delivery (which they have no way of knowing if he's telling the truth) they can only provide the refund in credits. What a broken system. You take my money for a service. You don't provide that service. You won't give my money back (except in credits for your services which I no longer want because of your broken system) based solely on the driver's word. Good riddance.

Delivery person somehow gets inside my apartment building and instead of informing me that they had arrived or anything, decide to leave my food on the floor. By the time I realised that it had been way to long food was cold and no idea what had been done with it. Complained to the help chat and told them that I cannot trust the food because of their driver they would only offer the delivery and tip cost back. So because of them I could not eat it and basically wasted money. Never using them again if they cannot even train their employees basic delivery service.
