Placed an order today and the site said that delivery was 20-30 minutes and I've ordered from this restaurant using Skip the Dishes before. I got a message 40 minutes after ordering saying the driver was on his way. The website map had him sitting at the restaurant since about 1:15 pm, the site said he left at 1:40. Was on chat with someone who cancelled the order and said I wouldn't get the order. A decent customer service person would have given me a refund for the inconvenience and delivered the food, especially since I'm doing a live online course today and had limited time for lunch. I've had delivery issues before that I overlooked, but this was the straw that breaks the camels back. I'll never order from this company again.

the couriers are incompetent, rude and greedy. simply put, they snatch your order for their own benefit, then throw your food anywhere without attempting to contact you or ringing the buzzer if you're in an apartment. and the new immigrant indians specifically the OLDER males(old men) are the worst, they're very misogynistic. i had one try to get in my face and yell at me because he called the wrong number and accused me of not picking up. then he tried to withhold my food that i paid for from me, as if it was his place. why? because he comes from a misogynist country where that behavior is encouraged towards women.

Constant order mistakes. Wrong refund amounts. Lying about refunds and keeping the money. No possibility to call to ask for a refund. Avoid the company at any cost unless you want to be robbed.

Our latest (and FINAL) issue with Skip the Dishes happened tonight when, rather than following the very explicit directions (explicit because of the wandering around being done by previous deliverers who couldn't follow instructions), our food (ice cream and what should have been warm food) was left in the Visitor Parking area of our building...outside. I only found it because the delivery person never dialed our unit so I went out to see if, again, someone was wandering around outside--but, I found our food sitting outside of the building. I requested a refund because the food was uneatable and was told I could only get a 50% refund because the food was "delivered". What a great racket they have going! Give really, really bad service and only have to give up 50% of their income because the food was "delivered"...not eatable, but "delivered". Skip the Dishes has become the community joke for our building because they are constantly leaving food orders sitting outside the building...on the sidewalk...in Visitor Parking. Steer clear of these crooks.

Ordered dinner and my food never came. Got credit to replace my order and it wasn't delivered a second time. Ended up skipping dinner and going to bed. So much food waste and no explanation why the driver didn't deliver to my house

Had a few good delivery experiences but had 2 horrible experiences - waited over 2 hours, children were beyond hungry & all restaurants were closed. Will never use them again. Customer service is autobots & not helpful, did not resolve anything. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I received a burnt pizza which was inedible and wanted a replacement. Skip the dishes said it was poor presentation and they would only give me a 50% discount. Their customer service is such a joke.

Drivers are constantly delivering the food late, to my neighbours houses or not at all. Then when you want a refund they offer you skip points for a 1/4 the price. The absolute final kick in the balls? Customer Service is based in India!!

Waited 15 to pick up food suppose to get paid for waiting did not even give one penny for my time wasted just do uber eats or door dash now they have taken chat away so you can talk to someone live unless you are on a order fail !

This post is to advise people not to buy skip the dishes gift cards. We gave a skip the dishes gift card to someone. I found out two months after giving the gift that the recipient of the gift loaded the card to his account, and then skip the dishes immediately wiped out all traces of his account. He spent many hours trying to get his account back before we even found out there was a problem. At that point I contacted skip the dishes and after much back and forth e-mails with different customer service agents they told me the account was restored, and the credits showed up in the account. We were both relieved that it had been sorted out. An order was placed, and guess what.....he was unable to use the credits! At this point the recipient is done with skip the dishes and tells me to try and get our money back from skip the dishes. Skip is informed we just want the credit to our mastercard, as the recipient of the gift is not interested placing any further orders with skip the dishes. Skip refuses to refund the money to my mastercard. Dealing with skip the dishes on this was like an endless loop....they answer the e-mails, but it's not the same person each time so they keep asking for the same information over and over, and never resolve the situation in a fair manner. Skip stole the money from both the giver of the gift card, and the recipient of the card. Don't take a chance on your money being stolen too.

Took over two hours to deliver and then it ended up not ever even coming cancelled and they couldn’t get about refund until 5 to 10 days after. I will definitely be trying DoorDash and using that instead

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!!Can't put less than 1 star.... I've been using them for about a year now, about 3 to 4 times per month, average order was less than $20. Just got my credit card statement and someone has been using my card to the tune of over $2000 in one month. Tried to get ahold of someone and got hung up on twice (I guess they didn't want to deal with it). Third person told me they were very sorry but my card is encrypted so they wouldn't know (guess its not encrypted good enough). I would have to contact my credit card company because there was nothing they could do. I will never use them again!!

Worst customer service ever, terrible drivers. My food arrived cold and soggy an hour late and completely un-edible and they would only refund me 50% as a credit on my account even after I told them I wouldn't be using their service anymore.

Ordered late night food. Long story short, had to wait for at least 40mins. My phone was on silent and was keeping track through the tracking order map on my PC. All of a sudden it has been delivered. As soon as I come out I do not see the driver. I see the footsteps on my driveway because it just had snow. Looked for the food and I did not find it. Tried to call but could not reach the number. Driver said it was delivered but it was no where to be found. The last location of the driver was at the restaurant. Either skip has to do better with that live tracker or make sure that drivers leave the food by the door. I spoke with " Lovepreet k4 " service person through chat and was very rude. Only refunded as credits what the total amount was. I tried to reason out the situation but the person leave the chat. What kind of customer service is that. Anyways.. I have had more issues with skip before but this is what really triggered me to write a review. DO NOT USE SKIP!

I think my driver just stole my meal?? I haf food and alcohol. I was outside thirty seconds after i received the two minutes out text. I waited for five minutes. Went back inside to grab my phone. Called the driver. They said they were waiting outside but it couldnt have been for long?? He said he was on another route and it would be awhile. Its been 20 minutes? He said skip the dishes advised him to do this? I was outside the whole time. Hw confirmed the address??

Skip the dishes? More like Skip the meal all together.. Absolutely terrible company. They do not care about the customer what so ever. 25 minutes with customer service trying to get an order placed, finally gets accepted by the Resto. Then an hour ten later they cancel my order due to “no couriers available”. Right away I call the resto to see if I can just pick it up, they tell me it’s been thrown in the garbage. 80$ worth of sushi, in the garbage. Best part, Skip even offers a pickup option, but nobody thought it might be an idea to call me and see if I could pick it up. They offered no compensation at all and tried to give me a refund in “skip credits”. This company is a joke.
