“Going by my experience and that of many others listed below it is clear that this organisation engages in misleading and deceptive conduct in that they advertise and and receive payment for items that they clearly do not have in stock. Given the hundreds of transactions that would be processed in this manner each day they have a good sideline in investing your money on the short term money markets as they have essentially have access to 'free' funds for as long as they can string you along with the line that there are 'unavoidable delays in the delivery of goods'.”

“Waited 6 weeks for a set of brake pads. Delivery was quoted as up to 1 week. I contacted them via their automatic webmail a there's no phone number and it would take a fortnight for a reply only to tell me it's on its way but upon checking the tracking number they hadn't even picked the parts yet. Liars!! My car was off the road for 4 weeks as i didnt go elsewhere due to the fact they were always "on thier way"!! Ill never buy anything from this company again!!”

“Purchased from Sparesbox nearly 2 months ago and am still awaiting delivery. Not only that but they do not send any updates until I contact them several times asking what is going on. The series of stories that I have received range from it being shipped shortly, to it being held up somewhere, to technology issues, to order processing backlog and then just back to them being unable to determine what the status is with the order
The reality is that they are hopeless and appear to have no idea what is happening within their own company. Instead they just spin story after story that add up to nothing.

If you get no joy our of Sparesbox, email GPC head office. They will soon attend to your complaint.

A search of the website yields no telephone number to call, forced to submit an online form, now told I will wait 6-10 days for processing. Utterly disgusting. Usually I would say these things happen, or cancel order for refund, but they do this all the time. I was warned by people with a similar car buying similar parts that they had to wait months. If you look at trustpilot reviews, they are full of complaints of massive delays.
The customer service never responds after the initial email.
They know they cannot meet the delivery window but continue to say it to get the sales.”
“I enquired about a full set of O2 sensors in my 2006 pajero, I already had the part numbers and confirmed them with the OEM website. There is no phone number listed on the website, the only option is to log an email ticket. I logged an email twice in 3 days and still took over a day after the second email to reply back BUT when they did they had the nerve to ask for information about my vehicle that I have already supplied in the ticket, ie: make, model, year, series, engine size, fuel and transmission, INCLUDING EXACT PART NUMBERS.
