I ordered 4 SD memory cards, but received only 2. I sent an email to ask if they were going to send me the other 2 later. Speed Graphic never replied. I'm pleased to say they refunded me for the cards I had not received, but I'm disappointed nobody took the trouble to respond to my email. Just a single line would have been sufficient.

Apologies for your disappointment. These cards were end of line. We've checked, but can't find a record of your email, but when we refunded the money to your Paypal account an explanatory message was attached which you perhaps missed. However, it appears that our supplier has found more stock which we can offer at the same price, so if you would still like the other 2 cards please contact us and we'll supply them to you post free.

All good in the end but the parcel went to the wrong address and was three weeks late. An email to ask what happened was unanswered and I had to call to chase the order and was told that there was nothing to be done. I would suggest you only offer a tracked service for packages? Would buy from you again in spite of this though. Thanks,

The film I ordered arrived promptly, but I was disappointed that the rolls of Fuji Provia had an expiry date of June 2019.

Our apologies for not contacting you about the delay to your special order, placed on 5th July. We ordered the item from the importer on the Monday following, and it should have been delivered to us on the 10th. However, they were out of stock until the beginning of August - hence the long wait.

One of the internal dividers of the Op/tech accessory pack was split at the stitching on receipt. Not enough of a fault to go to the trouble of returning it but irritating nevertheless. This is the second order I have received with a minor fault.

We're sorry you were unhappy with the Op/tech pouch. It's unusual, and there is a no-quibble warranty with this product, so if you change your mind about returning it, let us know. We do try to ensure that everything we sell is of good quality and fit for purpose, so it's of concern that you've had 2 less than satisfactory items sent.

The online catalogue seems to be more than a little optimistic; I can only think more items are offered than are actually in stock because often delivery seems quite slow. The pages are annoying because having looked all the way down a page there is no "back to top" button - lazy programming these days.

Having looked into your order record it looks like the Manfrotto 120DF adapter was out of stock when you placed your order - this would have been indicated on our website. It took a little bit longer to replenish than usual, but we sent out your order on the day it was delivered to us. The website stock information is updated at least every two hours, and it's rare that we have a discrepancy when something shows as being in stock but isn't. The actual available quantity is also shown at checkout, so if a customer orders more of an item than we have immediately available, a flag will display. There are some of our competitors who do have a dubious definition of 'in stock', but we'd like to assure you that it's most certainly not our policy to imply something is available when it isn't.

I ordered x2 flash trigger converters. It had been several weeks without delivery. I called the store and was told that they only had X1 in stock, I had to urge the assistant to send the x1 trigger and I'm still waiting for the 2nd to arrive.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide a review and feedback. I was pleasantly surprised to find a supply company happy and willing to offer their services to New Zealand. Even more so when I asked if I could pay by direct credit transfer from a UK bank account. I am an ex-pat, who travels a lot (although infrequently to the UK anymore) and would prefer to purchase from within the UK where I know I can access my bank account there to pay for items without paying ridiculous exchange rates or mark-up percentages to importers in the country where I currently am. Although assured I could purchase by direct credit, no details were forthcoming. I purchased some items via credit card as I required the items quickly - attracting exchange rate fees etc. Having shown willingness to purchase from SG, I then asked again for the credit transfer details to which I was informed 'Speed Graphic' had passed my request along to their accounts folks to consider. Despite a follow-up email to inquire if this had been decided on yet (credit transfer from my UK bank account to SG) I have heard nothing back. As I understand, there is no reason or risk in not accepting a direct credit simply because if there is no money in my account, I can't order anything until paid! As I am replacing my existing DSLR filters with the Lee brand of filters for the sole purpose that I can expand the Lee filters at a later date to include a wide angle zoom lens (Nikon 14-24 or Sigma 12-24 - still to purchase) using the same brand, this represents a reasonable purchase for SG; some GBP700-1500. Choosing Lee Filters for their quality (and that they are hand-made in the UK) is a factor in purchase. Paying an additional 20-30% simply for someone else to bring them into the country where I am (NZ at this point) is prohibitive. My review therefore would simply be much better than that I have given if, as promised, I could make my purchase easily in the way I would prefer. There is nothing 'wrong' with the service I received - CC payment, shipping, delivery (in a very safe and protected manner I should add) - and in fact was prompt and efficient. However, my rating is lower because I understood I could make a purchase AND I could make this purchase in a way that best meets the service I require. Great! Except, the service hasn't matched promised expectations so unfortunately the "Normal" is reflective of any company I can purchase from online and is no incentive for me to show continued 'shop' or brand loyalty to SG. I'm not being vindictive (eg poor or very poor rating) nor am I promising million dollar accounts; it is all purchases for personal use and replacement of items through wear and tear. But, had I been told simply I couldn't use credit transfer I would either have purchased via Paypal or through another supplier. The ball is now in Speed Graphic's court. If you want my purchase great, please let me know; if not...that's fine too...loyalty is a two-way street.

Dear Mr Norman Sorry that you got the wrong impression. We are happy to receive payment by credit transfer, but owing to relatively high bank charges, we ask that customers pay these if they choose this method. It may therefore be more cost-effective to use a debit card if you have one for your UK account. There was also a temporary problem on the day you placed your order as the person who has online access to our account was away for a couple of days. We thank you for your business, and I assure you that we have no intention of making it difficult for you to order from us!

Sorry about the delay. This was an end-of-line item which wasn't automatically reordered from our supplier. As advised, there is no delivery date on this product at the moment, but we will supply at the reduced price as soon as possible,
