My last order was not processed by Speed Graphic in the way I'm used to: When I ordered the quantity in stock information on the website was incorrect. This resulted in a backorder. I had to send multiple e-mails to get status update and (partial) shipping of my order.

Dear Mr Van Dijk We're sorry you are unhappy with the way this order was handled. The website was not incorrect: you ordered more than we had in stock, and the actual quantity would have shown at the basket. We ordered the additional filter boxes promptly, but the importer was out of stock. As explained upon your first enquiry, because of high carriage costs, we do not part ship orders to the Netherlands nor anywhere else outside the UK, and secondly, the importer in question is very poor at providing us with accurate stock delivery dates. Your multiple emails were repeats of your first question, to which we could only give the same answer. Be assured that your frustration was equalled only by our own.

We're sorry for the error. Unfortunately, we've just discovered that the email telling us about it went into a junk folder. We've now contacted the person who ordered the lamp on your behalf.

I had to buy from Speed Graphic as I needed some black on white. These were - much more expensive than other colours sourced from others - high postage for an item of a few grms - VERY long wait for delivery - poor quality, first batch used fell off after a few days on a map Unfortunately I am half way through a big project. I have cut my next order down to the bare minimum and am unlikely to use them again

Dear Mr Dedman Your complaint appears to be about one pack of Hama labels which are designed to be used on a photographic slide mount, not a map. If we were more expensive than other sources, why did you place the order? Our postage charge is a standard one, not related to the weight of the order, and we delivered after 4 days which is within the stated delivery time of our standard service. So we're not quite sure why you are complaining!

You placed your order on Saturday 20th February and Royal Mail delivered it on Wednesday 24th, two days after we posted it. We advised you of this on the same day you alerted us to the problem and posted this review. We understand that you have now collected the parcel.

Both packages took longer than expected/quoted, and one was particularly badly packaged, resulting in some of the developer chemicals leaking out inside the parcel. Whoever responds to emails also creates any excuse they can to shift blame rather than take responsibility for the quality of their service. Shop elsewhere.

We ship thousands of bottles of chemicals a year and have very few problems reported. We can't identify who you are but think that the problem was with Cinestill Df96 Monobath. The quality of sealing on these is poor and we have had several leakages in transit. As a result, we have withdrawn it from sale. Secondly, as has been widely reported, there are unpredictable delays with Royal Mail still. It's getting better, but two days' shipments from 22/23 February took around a week to be delivered. We are sorry about this, but it's outside our control.

I don’t recommend this seller !.When i tried to return a camera film ,the seller rejected to accept it without serious reason,but on item description it was written that an item is refundable.I didn't use a camera film and was try to return it in the same condition as its arrived .The seller didn't return me money and i have to ask an eBay to step in and refund me.I don't recommend it !

I would write a review but I’ve actually not received my order of a Harman camera and had no delivery update. Also no reply to emails about said delivery. So over all not good at all. I would provide a photo but I don’t have one to give.

Your email from Saturday was replied to today; as advised, we don't work at weekends. The camera was posted on 30th November, and we are really sorry that you haven't yet received it. We have found Royal Mail despatches from around the Black Friday weekend to have been severely delayed in some circumstances, and we hope you receive it soon. If it is lost, we will refund your money. There is no replacement stock at present as Harman will not have more of these cameras until January.

We did respond to your email. As advised, the manufacturer no longer supplies the carton with the slide trays. Perhaps they have decided to reduce unnecessary packaging. The image showing this box on our website has now been removed.

Product came months too late, didn’t even expect it to ever arrive in the end. The product was a very reasonable price but the delivery time needs to be more apparent as I had ordered for a specific weekend. Not impressed at all and I probably won’t use your services again due to this.

Dear Mr Womersley A simple enquiry to us would have revealed that Kodak Gold film has been unavailable pretty much anywhere in Europe for the last three months. We finally got some supplied last week and promptly despatched your back order. Other companies may well have decided to cancel all back orders in the circumstances. We didn't. So thanks for your comments! And note that vendors on eBay are real people not a machine. David Johnson

Wanted to item quickly so paid extra to have it on time for a project. Item wasn't sent express delivery and came 3 days late. A refund was issued hence the 1 star

Can’t review this item as I haven’t been able to use it. It arrived just as I was about to set off on holiday. It took a week to arrive after paying £3.75 for p & p. Probably Royal Mail’s fault but I should have been sent a tracking number.

Very quick delivery, well packed and good communication. Delivery costs are also reasonable, unlike a lot of photographic equipment suppliers.

The grey archive boxes Print Archive Box A3 Item Number HUABBA3 are of pizza box quality. Not even a proper fastener. Arrive flat pack with no instructions. I was horrified I’d paid £26 for 2 ) including postage ). Felt ripped off. The only positive thing I can say is the shade of grey is lovely.

Sorry that you felt disappointed, but the boxes will do the job well as they are made from highest quality 3mm acid-free cardboard , so not exactly pizza box quality. We do also state in the product description that they are delivered flat for self-assembly.

Thought I was buying a Manfrotto be free GT tripod at a competitive price but within 2 weeks noticed I could have saved a further £50 from a larger supplier.
