Website is fine and easy to use. Communication is poor (no email back from initial inquiry & long wait for replies). Returns process was a bit annoying. No returns label in parcel or via email so have to pay with Royal Mail (who then failed to collect) but all was sorted and I received refund after a few days (with email confirming). Hoping to order from again and having a better experience

Hi The scanner quality is good, both regarding building quality and scanned images. Scanning speed at the highest resolution is very slow. Disappointing to purchase the most expensive scanner, receive version 8 of the Silverfast software, and find out that version 9 is available for 249 Euro. The software has a lot of options but is not easy to work with.

Quick delivery good products but .... the relatively small contents were packed in a large cardboard box full of torn paper, plastic airbags, miscellaneous bubble wrap, corrugated cardboard, other cardboard bita and pieces. A jiffy bag, some foam sheet. More recycling than I'd normally produce in a week necessitating a trip to the dump to get rid of it all. Looked like the warehouse bin had been tipped into the box on top of the goods. Major negative in deciding whether to buy from again.

Meh. I bought a piece from them (a camera power adapter) that turned out to be non-functional on its own which was not clear from the description. I asked for technical support on how to make it functional (e.g. to recommend another component that they might sell), and never got a response. Instead, I got an automatic request to write a review. So here it goes. I suppose I can expect further spam, not technical support.

We don't have any record of your enquiry. As it says in the product description: 'The CRSFW50 Camera Coupler fits the battery compartment of Sony cameras using the NP-FW50 battery, and is used in conjunction with the Case Relay Power system to provide a continuous power supply.', so we don't think it could be clearer. If you don't want the power system you can return the adapter cable for a refund.

The speed of the service was excellent. The quality of the camera obscura up to a high standard, but everything else could be better. I am not complaining, but the corners on the instruction book are creased. The stickers were folded and creased. Also, the exposure calculator was the same as the stickers, folded and creased. It could all have been avoided. Some of the instructions on how to make the exposure calculator don't make sense. Anyone new to photography and building the calculator has got a problem. The price, build quality and speed of service are brilliant!

One of the items was on back order. It took 5 weeks to fullfil the order. I don't recall seeing any information on their website on how long it would take. I had to instigate all communication relating to updates and order progress. Although I got a reply to every email, within 24 hours, the response was terse, to say the least. Would I order from them again? Yes, but only if the item was in stock. Happy to help you update your IT systems to automate notifications.

I ordered an item and it never arrived so I emailed the company and they said there was a delivery issue. I can quite understand that import/export is problematical with Brexit and this item was from Italy but Speedgraphic never said this when I placed the order (it appeared to be in stock), I had to chase them and they didn't really follow up. So good price but nul points for customer care. Fortunately it wasn't urgent but I feel they could have done a lot better and been a little more proactive.

We're sorry that you had to wait for these Manfrotto studs. Products such as this would typically be available in a few days from the importer but now are taking weeks to appear. Unless the distributor has them in stock they, and we, cannot give a firm delivery date in the present circumstances. As well as delivery days from our suppliers in the EU caused by Brexit (which is starting to improve), the raw material supply chain from the Far East is also in some chaos, caused by COVID-19 handling restrictions at ports and containers being in the wrong part of the world, preventing sailings departing from China on time, or at all.

Got very concerned about delivery. It took 7 days and only had to travel a few miles,had I known this would of collected it. Had to phone twice only to be told it was royal mail's fault. I would have paid delivery on such an expensive item.

Just to appraise you of how the postal system works. All packets are now sorted at large centres around the UK. GU postcode packets used to go to Guildford and back out again, but not any more. They never were picked up by a postman and taken 'down the road' to our customers. Unfortunately delays at Christmas are inevitable. Please also note that a next day delivery option is available either when ordering from our website or on eBay.

B+W MRC XS-PRO Nano Clear 007 77mm filter was delivered promptly. Very happy. Filter has small mark on glass coating which fortunately doesn't impact on image quality. Filter box was closed but not sealed shut. Issues like these are something to watch out for on very high MP camera bodies.

We're sorry that you felt the filter wasn't 100%, but just want to reassure you on a couple of points: B+W filters do not have sealed cartons or inner box and it may be possible for the latter to spring open in transit. We never return anything to new stock which isn't absolutely perfect, and we haven't had any B+W returns this year, so conclude that it is as supplied by the UK importer.

Hello. We thought that we had replied to your question, but there may have been an email glitch as the person who did this is moving between home and our office at the moment. Anyway, the answer is that, whilst there is a general standard for the profile of Arca-pattern plates, there is no compatibility for the safety stop systems between manufacturers, so this feature on FLM plates will only work with FLM quick releases.

You required two items which were not in stock at the time of placing your order. As explained by my colleague during the course of several emails, we could not get these items because the Lee and Ilford factories were closed during the lockdown. When the Ilford paper arrived in June, we promptly released your order. What more could we have done in the circumstances?

I found the staff courteous and they were able to supply items both in stock and awaited. Communication was less than good as I wasn't made aware which items fell into which category. Pre-sales help was poor. I bought an MFT-Retro adapter which I have found to be limited in practical use for me, and had they made me aware of that limitation I would not have bought it but got an alternative. Watch for a bargain on e-bay!

Delivery good. However the slide viewer did give a problem. The batteries would not stay in place and one had to be taped in place. Then worked well.
