“Fantastic pediatric care for back injuries by Angela long, My daughter suffered a back sprain after a fall on a slide, and the team here was incredible. They didn't just treat the pain; they took the time to suggest specific posture corrections and exercises tailored for her. “Went to see physio for my shoulder. Great assessment given excersises to do Very professional & friendly. Saw Heenal about 6 times shoulder is 95% improved. The secret is to continue with the excersises. Highly recommended the physios.”

“I had several appointments with Heenal who was so kind and caring. I had been suffering with ear pain for weeks and after several antibiotics that did not work was advised to have physio. After seeing Heenal my ear pain quickly disappeared as it was a neck problem. She was brilliant.”

“Was referred to Dan for physio on a meniscus tear with the aim of getting mobility back and returning to play football. Dan created a programme tailored to my needs including some additional exercises for some other ankle and hip related niggles. After two months of progressive exercises, and a post physio strengthening and conditioning plan … I was able to return to playing football after about four months and have remained injury free since.. can only say thanks to Dan for his expertise and help in keeping this old man moving”

“I'd suffered from Plantar fasciitis for nearly 4 months in both feet (very rare apparently), this was causing me severe pain when 1st getting out of bed and getting down the stairs in the morning, and also restricting my golf game. I'd seen all the videos, stretches, exercises, rolling pin rolls, Ice, and various insoles tried...But nothing seemed to work. I asked my GP, and suggested Shockwave treatment, so he referred, as I have private health care. I chose Sports and Spinal Physio because it looked like a professional outfit from the choices in my area.....What a great choice. Pav the Physio gave me a very thorough consultation followed by 5 Shockwave sessions, and I am pleased to say that the pain has totally gone...he's a magician. Pav was so professional, and gave me a list of exercises in between treatments. I cannot thank and recommend this company enough.....Thank you so much”

“Sev assisted me when I tore my erector spinae at the base of my spine. I lacked strength, mobility and confidence conducting every day movements and thought I would not get back physically to where I was. Sev gave me an assessment, an exercise program and access to a helpful app with videos and tutorials and tailored a routine based on my performance and progress at check ups. In record time, I am already back to where I was physically and beyond, performing deadlifts without issues or fear, with full mobility and a greater understanding of how to build strength carefully and protect myself in future from any complications or recurrences. Could not recommend him highly enough.”

“I was referred to Amirtha Raman in December 24 by my consultant as I have osteoarthritis in both knees. The aim was to improve my mobility and enable me to enjoy planned holidays during 2025. From the outset Amirtha's approach has been professional, friendly, encouraging and supportive. She gradually increased the range of exercises and introduced weights and bands to improve my strength and balance. This plan has been very successful and now I am able to walk greater distances and my balance has improved. Many thanks Amirtha for all your invaluable help, guidance and advice over the past few months.”

“i went to see them with severe pain from sciatica. my gp was happy for me to live on painkillers. heenal has really sorted me out: with a varied regime of exercises she has helped me regain my mobility and reduced my pain level an amazing amount. i am so happy i found these guys and would recommend them completely.”

“I have had excellent, knowledgeable care from various members of the Sports and Spinal team over the last 18 months, and have been pleased with the outcomes. Amirtha sorted out my wonky running gait and plantar fasciitis after a treadmill assessment and exercises, Hannah provided me with excellent podiatry advice and orthotics for my footwear, and Dan sorted out a tricky wrist injury that has been plaguing me for years. Appointments are easy to book and Jenny on reception was always great to help sort out any logistical issues. I always had confidence that I was receiving high quality advice, always delivered with kindness and compassion.”

“I was suffering with severe pain in my left foot. My GP had said it was gout and prescribed anti inflammatory tablets but I was unconvinced and went to see Dan at Sports and Spinal Physio and so glad I did. After a thorough assessment it seems my pain was caused by a previous injury and a weakening of the tendon and not gout. Through a 6 session program where I was given specific exercises after each appointment I have strengthened the weakened area and am no longer in pain. I also saw Hannah (podiatrist) who also did a thorough assessment of my feet and recommended some orthotics to aid in my recovery. I am now able to walk considerably distances without any pain in my foot and also my legs no longer ache after being on my feet all day. I can’t thank them enough and will continue with the maintenance exercises to ensure I remain pain free.”

“I've been a client of Sports and Spinal Physio for some years, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Recently I've been treated by Amirtha for a hip/lower back problem. Amirtha was excellent in her approach, always listening carefully, explaining the diagnosis and the proposed course of action. She has developed the exercises to be more challenging and progressive, and I'm now much stronger and able to maintain my lower back into the future. Thank you Amirtha, you've been brilliant”

“My daughter has been seeing Angela for quite a few months now and we have seen some fantastic results. Angela is always extremely professional and friendly and makes my daughter feel at ease. “I had been suffering with ear jaw and neck pain for weeks.After two lots of antibiotics and a neck xray my GP suggested physio. I booked in with Hennal and within a few sessions what with massage and excersises i was pain free. She is a friendly and caring physio who i would not hesitate to recommend.”

“I saw Amri after suffering with Plantar Fascia for some months. Amri explained the condition, gave me exercises to do at home (with emailed support) and advised on footwear. After about 6 visits I walk without pain. I just wish I had gone sooner! Highly recommended.”

“Amazing clinic and staff. Heenal was very patient and managed to diagnose the issue I was having with my shoulder effectively. After a couple of sessions and daily exercises, pain and discomfort have subsided. Also a big thank you to Jenny who is always lovely and so very helpful.”

“Ive had a series of sessions with Dan to address a shoulder injury which was compromising my swim training. His work with me was fantastic: diagnosing the problem, establishing a series of stretches and exercises to alleviate the problem and strengthen and re-balance capabilities for my shoulders and also provided what are proving to be excellet guidance on swim techniques and style which not only have moved me away from the injury causes but also improved my swim capability. The practice uses a great on-line interactive tool for personalising and demonstrating the series of exercises I needed. Duncan”

“I first visited Dan back in May of last year after being diagnosed with a prolapsed disc in my lower back via an MRI scan. After seeing many other types of specialist for almost a year and a half (physios, chiropractors etc etc) I was recommended Dan by my private health care doctor. It hasn’t been an easy journey by any imagination as I still thought seeing Dan would solve everything after a few sessions. Dan explained to me that this may be something that may never go but become more manageable in life and educated me rather than feeding me force hope. He firstly tried a couple months of home exercises which in fact we actually found aggravated my back. So Dan switched it up and got me back in the gym aiming to get me back to football in the long run but first running. I worked closely with Dan with what I was doing in the gym and he explained each session on why he was telling me to do these exercises. Eventually getting me into a running program just before Christmas. I would highly recommend Dan as he has a very high knowledge of these types of injuries aswell as providing good info and how to get back to doing what you love.”
