If I could give these cowboys a zero star I would as it only allows 1 star. I was contacted by this dodgy firm regarding cavity wall installation which resulted in my property having damp. They bombarded me with so much literature it was beyond belief. They then discontinued this claim and it did not get to court. I was then sent a large bill from the other companies solicitors! Steer well clear I am in the process of filling an official complaint to the ombudsman and looking to get some legal advice! They have now palmed me off to another firm and are ignoring my letters and calls! Think I will go away and pay it?!? Crooks!

I never like writing negative reviews but feel this is warranted with this firm of solicitors as the public need to be warned. It is surprising that the Solicitors Regulation Authority has not taken action given the failures of this firm. Examples include failure to respond to communications, incorrect advice, inaction and generally an air that they are not actually on the client's side. The public trust that solicitors will conduct themselves professionally and in the best interests of their clients. Sadly, there are huge concerns about this firm from their reception staff to their management.

If I could give zero stars I would. The agent Bradley...Well he is justice something else. He has been harrasing me none stop with call after call after call. Even though he was told that I have serious anxiety, depression and due to my mental health state, I had attempted to take my own life. He was told I was in hospital having surgery and he still continued to call and call and call. He was just calling, no answer and just calling straight back time after time so my phone was just constantly ringing. Emails messages none stop. I can see by some reviews that people had good experiences with this company but that was the worst experience I have ever had. Horrible person. I worked in customer service for over 20 years and if anybody in the 2 companies that I worked for behaved in this manner they would have been out the door before they even put the phone down. Also I know I heard him laugh when I told him how I was feeling.

It does appear that I am not alone, with many complaints similar to my own.. This company have contacted my elderly Mother regarding a case that was closed by another law firm over 2 years ago (which was insured on a no win no fee basis). They have sent documents asking my Mum to agree for them to be instructed to act on her behalf, this was followed by a telephone call, the person on the phone informed her that she was liable for costs from the previous company (Pure legal, now in Administration) , unless she signs the contract for them to act on her behalf and re investigate the case (and for any loans taken out for the insurance to be transferred to them) She said she did not wish for the case to be opened again and didn’t want to instruct them to go through with the claim, the person on the phone told her she was liable for the charges unless she signed the new instruction for SSB to start the claim again, leaving her devastated . To pray on old people to scare them into signing claims with your company from data you have purchased from an Administrator from a no longer trading company for a closed case is an abomination, you told her if she does not sign your claim form you suggest she seeks legal advice, is there was anything legal, she would not need to sign a new contract and I will be contacting all Law, financial and insurance companies you use to report you for mis selling.

Gave them an accident claim over 8 months they did nothing. Staff on reception not very respectful, women in litigation very disrespectful and lazy. Avoid use a credible company with over 30 years experience instead of these mindless people. Did not pick up the phone and make contact with GP or therapist over 8 months. Staff can be bias too. They want you to make your own doctors report like as if that is not what they are payed to organise and to do. Disgraceful and deceiving all they want is your money.

Very poor communications, no feedback as things are going, rude, being spoken to as though I was retarded, no respect. Not treated like a client, just some dirt on the road side. Letting barely qualified staff in charge, who are clearly not been taught manners and how to speak to people, tragic and pathetic. I have the idea that the five stars rating are fake

This company is disgusting. They ignored TPS and continue to make unsolicited calls to a vulnerable elderly person despite being told to stop. The have lied to and confused and upset that person on each occasion. Which has affected family. They have now decided scaremongering is the best option by threatening this person. This is an unethical bottom barrel scumy set up attempting to look legitimate. Be aware. The the ratings below are also being faked.

Stay well clear of this shower, if the experience a friend of mine has had is anything to go by, then you will be left highly stressed and without your issues being resolved and most likely made far worse.

Had a claim since 2016 with them got cleared after 4years I had to chase the solicitors up everytime...always different reasons why it’s takint so long..and then when’s it did get settled I got less money then they offered at the beginning never using you again...

Felt thoroughly let down by SSB law. Passed amongst different people during the long drawn out process. They didn't build a decent case. I think they were out of there depth with my claim. In the end I felt like I was the one being taken to court, not the other way round. They caused me a lot of stress and anxiety that I am still having to deal with. In particular Joanne Brookes is one member of the team NOT to deal with. Sefton Miller was bought in at the end to try and piece together a very bad job. Very disappointed with this company as a whole.

I don't feel SSB LAW really took this case to heart. I was passed around from solicitor to solicitor, over a long period of time, there wasn't a good enough case made for me, even though I tried my best to assist them with information. We lost the case, and the defendants told several untruths that were not picked up on by my barrister, I felt completely let down by the company. I think the NATIONAL ACCIDENT HELPLINE need to do a lot more research into there solicitors that they recommend to clients like myself. I wasted time and money with this company I'm afraid.

Mr brookes constantly ignoring calls and emails. Took over my daughters matter in January, still no movement on the matter whatsoever and has now resorted to ignoring calls. His staff are rude and don't know their own policies - i asked to speak to the complaints manager for jeremy brookes only to be told it was jeremy clearly this is incorrect as he can not supervise himself duh! Complaint ongoing and legal ombudsman contacted.

This firm has been a complete waste of time. Last July Mr Brooke telephoned to say he had taken Over from our solicitor as they had folded. And a few conversations my partner had with him sounded as though he was the business. How Wrong !! Last November Mr Brooke passed our information onto miss hurt. You know those people who arent interested in what your saying. And talk over you Annoying is an understatement. And has she done anything NO. They have sat on their hands and done absolutely nothing to help my partners situation. So much so. His greedy brother has been able to have him removed as an executor and now has total control over everything that happens. This brother also stole £21,000. From his mothers bank accounts. And had the locks changed in the house. He has been able to get away with everything. Too much to mention here. And yet. This company have allowed it. ! Do yourself a favour. And stay clear. This company will be a waste of your money. If you have a smooth straight forward complaint. Then they maybe good. But if there’s any contention they don’t care. Why should they. They get paid anyway regardless of you losing everything what was supposed to come to you. They ignore calls. Emails. Texts. Even telling you when you finally get through that they are busy on more important matters. So. Go elsewhere. The only people who win here. Are these solicitors. They don’t care about you or your situation. And for the privilege of you forking out £200 an Hour for absolutely nothing ! 1

There only interested in easy cases where they can get 30% of your payout for doing as little as possible. Solicitor I was dealing with advised me to get barristers opinion before they would take on case but didn't tell me that I should of got a medical report before obtaining barristers opinion . When I phoned solisitor to discuss she was very condescending didn't listen to what I was saying then had nerve to try and charge me for a call that lasted a long time because she was constantly arguing with me. They have made me waste £1400 getting a useless barristers opinion.
