“Today I attempted to assemble my lights. I am unable to get the Covernut to thread to the socket to finalize assembly for installation. I look forward to a remedy to be provided by Steel.”

“I like the products. But I received one of my order that was short several parts, I contacted you and notified you about the missing parts. You assured me that you would send them to me asap. It's been a month and I still haven't received them. What would you say about that kind of service?”

“Very disappointed. Shipping time has taken a very long time. My order said it shipped. Waited days for an update. Finally called to ask when my order would ship. Was told my order was set on the return table and they don’t know why. Will be another week waiting. Don’t order if you need in a timely manner.”

“Warning! Buyer Pays Return Shipping! I paid $186 out of pocket! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER IF YOU ARE NOT 200% SURE TO KEEP THE ITEMS! We purchased 4 wall mount lights for a total of $1,318. Their return policy is embedded in the generic amazon page not specific to them! SUBZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!”

“The lights themselves are beautiful, but several issues: - The mounting plates should be a bit larger - they just cover a standard electirical box leaving no addtional room to cover imperfections of the wall cut out - There were no assembly instructions and I cannot figure out how to assembly so the light is properly aligned in a tight fit - The screws provided are not black and don't match the base plate - they're also too short to effectively reach an electrical box that is recessed in wall”

“Ordered lighting December 14, 2021 and received notice within a couple of days saying order was being prepared and presumably shipped soon. Great! Jan. 3rd and nothing received, so I checked UPS tracking and see that shipment was cancelled. ?? Called Steel that day and left message asking for information regarding order. It is now 30 hours or so later and I have yet to receive a reply. I understand the issue with supply chain problems and winter weather, and I can sympathize with a manning issue due to Covid, but if any of those are the reason, please communicate that. But “order cancelled”? What’s up Steel? Please let me know if you are unable to satisfy my order so I can go to another source.”

“Hi, unfortunately after receiving no call back twice from you here is your review. The light fixture is perfect. If it would light up. But it doesn't. Called immediately and the very nice gentleman sent me out a new piece 2 day FedEx. Awesome right? New piece didn't work either. Tested my wires in my house and they were fine. Called you guys. Waited. Called again. Ordered new light from China and it works perfectly. Really disappointed with your product and the end result of your customer service. Really wanted my custom light to work. Hoping to return it next week to hopefully get my money back.”

“Having a bad experience with customer service placing a customer gooseneck order. I purchased a 16 inch topanga then realized I needed an extension. Went back to the product on the web under accessories and purchased what I thought was an extension. It turned out to be a ceiling extension that doesn't work with the wall mount gooseneck. This was deceiving since I found it under the accessories for that fixture. I contacted customer service to try an order a customer 28 inch gooseneck and not having any success with Cecilia just around and around and around. So I've decided to return the fixture plus the accessories I ordered because of this. Unfortunately I really like the quality of the fixture, but I cannot hang the fixture without a longer gooseneck. Cecilia indicated that you can do a special order for this for $150 which is fine, but I cannot get her to place the order. So, I am returning everything I ordered. Thanks for the hassle.”
