Broad beans arrived four months after ordering.Arrived with soil dry,three beans split,only 18 compartments for 24 beans,soil loose in box,found three loose beans in box.Minimal care given in packing.

last year I ordered plants that arrived all damaged. all the the plugs died. having read all these reviews I think its time it should let Radio and TV companies should follow up these reviews along with other media

Received tomatoes yesterday. ‘Jumbo’ plugs absolutely tiny, came in Royal Mail letter post, not labelled as live plants. I potted them in good quality potting compost and they are dying. I have tried to upload photos but I am not sure they worked. Like Organic Gardening Catalogue plants that came at the same time, they all come from Dobies. Never again.

Disappointed blue eye grass seed, I could hardly see the seed ,in the packet where 7 tiny seeds ,I won't buy from Sutton's again ,it's no good Sutton's stretching out seed so customers get tiny amount seed.

Received order of 12 busy lizzie posti plugs today. Plugs in one side of plastic delivery mould leaving other side of plants in direct contact with cardboard outer container, the obvious cause of plants drying out. These tiny plugs arrived yellow and dry with lots of loose leaves, some were just a little stem. Worst plug plants i have ever received. Robtw

Their new Computer System deleted details of all existing customers, invalidated existing, valid Vouchers, Advised how to bypass glitches or alternative action which when followed, ignored, same advice from several members of the Customer Team who ignore order sent by email & post (which they acknowledged receiving) asked for delivery address - as my details lost when their system upgraded, sent delivery details twice but still no joy.

Very late delivery. Needed seeds urgently and was promised 24 hours to dispatch. Seeds not arrived 4 days later and on phoning told it will be next week another 4 days at least. If Sutton's are going to deliver after 8 days and not 1 they should be honest and say so. Very bad service.

Had 9 updates via Whistl over 7 days from ordering with final one passing on to Royal Mail. What was Whistl's function?Arrived eventually by postie in 6 tiny bone dry plugs looking like a few wilted cress leaves. Either or both Sutton's or Whistle leave a lot to be desired.

Ordered 12 geranium plugs, advised 11th March order despatched. After FIVE days in transit (incidentally to travel a distance of less than 20 miles) have today (16th) received 11 dead plugs and one stalk. No sign of the rest of it in packaging, so can only assume it was sent out like that. Very poot service. Will not use again.

Ordered seeds on the 7th March. Recieved.amail.advising dispatched on 10th. After contacting customer.services as track my package didn't work was advised posted on 13th. Suttons advertise dispatched in 24 hours...taken a week and still no.seeds.and very unhelpful customer.services...Will buy elsewhere.grom now.on.

I ordered seeds from.suttons.and 5 days.layer am.still awaiting the seeds. The customer.servce response via email.contradicts the confirmation email of dispatch and I am.unable to track my package via the link in the email. Additionally the reply from customer service gives a different courier and no link or inflation in my order. Extremely unhelpful.response to my query......Will not use again...have been a.long time customer

You sent me plants with fungus which can put my other plants at risk. Contagious sick plants with Fungus! On Wowcher it was advertised that I’m paying for healthy plants, I received all 4 with fungus. I can not use them. Probably the worst customer service yet, joined there club they charged me twice, took weeks and comprehensive proof and 30 emails eventually a refund. I ordered £30 worth of plug plants on a January special offer for delivery late March, then the identical offer appears in February KB8840 for £20, asked as a gesture of goodwill for all the hassle caused by there error and my inconvenience for a £10 credit. Very blunt No. Will not be using Suttons again.

I saw the listing for a Hamemalis intermediate Jelena plant for 19.99 on Sutton Seeds website so purchased one. The plant arrived on Friday afternoon and on opening was totally unimpressed at one was sent. A 3 inch pot with a grafted twig held together with an elastic band, and three ?buds which immediately fell off on contact. Nowhere in the listing did it mention that you would receive a stick, for 19.99. Absolutely disgusted. Will not be purchasing anything else, that's for sure. The also had the cheek to charge postage.

Ordered plants in October and paid. Some arrived, others did not. Was told over the phone that they were out of stock (5 small plants), and was offered one large plant instead. It never arrived. After five phone calls and an unanswered email was told to get a refund and reorder. This I did and a dead plant arrived. I phoned again to complain and a second plant was sent in lieu. It was also very dead. I took photos and complained and was offered £10 instead of a £19.95 dead plant. I bought seeds and now three months later I have the dead plant photos and some seeds. Do not use this abysmal company EVER. They told me on one phone call that they only wait to send out good plants. How ironic to have two very dead plants - with photos - arrive from them after a three month hiatus. Why? Does not a good company name matter to anyone there?

I decided to go with Suttons for all of my gardening needs for 2022 based on what I believed to be a sound company and that thy hold a Royal Warrant. Totally meaningless and misguided, counts for nothing, terrible decision. I paid £10.00 on line for membership of Suttons Garden Club but never received confirmation of payment or membership. In fact there was a statement on my account page that gave my membership status as 'Not yet a member' - Red rag? after many calls and emails they claim they cannot trace my payment even after I sent them a screen shot of the Visa Payment and credit card details. I would have though it wasn't too difficult to sort out but I get the feeling they'e not really bothered.

bought 5 rasbury plants onley one grew contacted suttons told my refund would be paid within1 -2 weeks never recieved it after conversation on phone said i had left it to late after i had been tod they would not refund me ie they offerd me 10 pounds my advice stay away from thi co
