I will never use this Co. again. Plants shipped weeks after the stipulated 'ship date', poor quality & expensive shipping charges on 'small' orders. Very poor.....

I purchased some Alstroemeria giant plugs which eventually arrived ten days after the despatch date. Giant they definitely are not and do not come close to the image on Suttons web site. And the stems of one of the plants had been crushed by the packaging and is unlikely to survive. I will definitely not be dealing with Suttons again. To be honest a total waste of money.

Tumbling Tomato plug plants arrived looking very weak and unhealthy. I dealt with them immediately upon receipt, following recommended instructions but the plants died within 3 days. Clearly, they weren't fit for purpose when sent. Expensive waste.

I ordered the strawberry Full season collection. The plants arrived in a sorry state, but what is worse, I got two times the same, hence 6 of one type, 12 of another and the early one is missing!!!

It took from 26th May to 4th July to complete an order costing £127.39 and most of these plants were advised as 24 hour or 3 working day despatch. The money was taken straight away! Some of the plants were on special offer, which wasn't honoured. Two plants that eventually came were tiny young plants instead of two 2L pots at £29.98. They couldn't supply the 2L pots and to compensate, offered a £5 discount on my next order! The other plants were mostly broken and dried out and had been very badly packaged. I was advised that these would be replaced but not until the new plants which would be next year!!! Very eventually I had a £85 refund. I should have persisted for a full refund but just wanted to draw a line under it. The stress was most unpleasant, especially as I was planting a new water garden project. I have unsubscribed but still get brochures in the post, which go straight in the bin. I don't want to hear their name again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT YOUR PLANTS TO ARRIVE. Order numerous plants in stock on website, dispatch in 3 days. 2 weeks later nothing arrived. Was told after 1 week in phone call they were picked ready for dispatch. THIS WAS A LIE!! 1 week later numerous items had been cancelled without notification as out of stock, so obviously not picked! 1 further week and still nothing! A further phone call and was told they had been delivered, although their own tracking system showed this was ANOTHER LIE. Then told, sorry all items are now out of stock. Weeks later and without notification ALL CANCELLED, and now too late the purchase from anywhere else. AVOID THIS APPALLING COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Do not buy from this company. Yesterday evening I found a box of nine dead plants in a cardboard box they had been dropped over a 6 foot gate which is rarely used. Delivery date was July?. I had received no communication to say this had changed nor was a card pushed through my letter box to say they had been delivered.You cannot get through on the telephone about a complaint, so I clicked onto their email wrote the email only to find out that when you send it, it doesn’t work. Will stick to Crocus in future never had any trouble with them.

I purchased over £56.00 worth of plugs from this company the main ones I wanted were fuchsias out of all the ones that we had only 4 survived and they squinty little plants that are flowering when they are only 3 inches high. I would not recommend that nobody should buy anything from this company as you WILL be very very disappointed.

tomato plant should have arrived end of March arr.June 24th half dead,broken stems withered leaves & a small amount of bone dry soil dry soil.In transit at least 4 days. 2 grafted chilli plants arr. before this in the most woeful state..tried to revive but now are on compost heap. Shocking firm who have got greedy and sold out to large conglomerate along with T&M Dobies Van H and others. Will never use again See pic of latest arrival

Very bad experiences x3 ! Ordered seeds : came late and very few. Ordered 2 hanging baskets in may : contacted customers service (in vain , no response) / order came 10 days later BUT tiny quantities - no basket - flowers are still not blooming ! Ordered iris bulbs mid-may : still NOT delivered...

I ordered 4 hanging baskets, 7 days delivery, after 14 days contacted customer services, no information given, other than ring back nexrt week if no delivery, rang back now 21 days, told no release date from growing department, sorry, what did i want to do, wait or refund, have asked for refund, will wait and see if this happens. Still bombarded with adverts for hanging backet offers, what the hell is going on with Suttons, will not be using this company again.

Ordered cucumber and tomato grafted plants. All received in distressed condition one cucumber and one tomato beyond saving, other cucumber might make it. Sutton’s agreed to replace tomatoes but cucumbers no longer available so they have said they will refund. Not yet received. Replacement tomatoes arrived today, in worse condition than the originals. Absolutely disgusting service, will never use again.

I have had about 4or 5 delivery's about £70.00 spent and they should pay most of it back they are all so dry when taken out the box and broken plants I would never buy from them again I thought this company was professional grows but by what I have had the past months they are not so I would not use and we will see if customer services try to get hold of me order number 20977386 I wonder yi they never try and sort out the problems

I ordered a few packets of seeds on 26 May 2022, to be delivered to Greater London address. Still not received the items today (4 June 2022). Really shoddy customer service. Will not ordered from them again. I definitely wonˋt recommend Suttons!!

Very poor customer service. I had lodged my complaint on their page as requested by them as the plugs I had received were either dead on arrival or looked half dead but I haven't had either a refund or heard from them at all. They keep bombarding you with enticing emails to lure us but I wish I had read some of the reviews here before ordering from them! Extremely disappointed with their products and their after sales customer service. Buyers beware!!

Second time ordered from Sutton’s, both times the plants were already displaced in the box, had to repot it again and some of them didn’t survive. Very disappointed with the service and will not order from them again. Not worth the money!!!

I received 3 pot tomato plants today 20 th which were dead I want my money back Sutton's are ripping people of they shouldn't be allowed to trade so refund my money order number is s0007382851 disgrace

Placed an order on the 27th April. Order still not received 2 weeks later so phoned customer services and was told order dispatch delayed due to bank holiday??? Email sent yesterday as still unable to track order. Phoned customer services again today (as no reply received yet to email) only to be told order was cancelled on the 12th May due to supply problems. No email received and have checked junk mail too. Appalling communication and customer service, will not order with this company again.
