“Ordered £30 worth of veg plants on the 8 March 2020 so well before UK lockdown. Sill have not received plants, explanation or refund. About to put a small claim in as no other recourse to customers available.”
“Still waiting for plants after four weeks. Now well past planting time but no response from Suttons in spite of repeated requests to know what is happening. I have been charged for this plants but they have now been removed form my order. Instead they have added an order for flowers that I didn't ask for!

“Why do I not get plants that you write and tell me are in stock and will be despatched within 7-10 days? Why if you aren't answering the phone so you can reply to emails do you not reply to any of my emails. I've waited over a month.
Don't tell me you're busy, I know you are and aren't you lucky.
You weren't too busy to take my order or my money. I am awaiting a refund, not holding out much hope though.

“Shocking service - still waiting for remainder of order. No reply from customer service. They are still taking orders...so beware, you may not receive them and no refund either. A company heading for administration? Have we all lost our cash? In all honesty, I would not chance an order from them if I were you. Who has money to waste?”
“I ordered some quite expensive tomorrow plants back in April. It is almost June now and they have not been delivered. I have sent about ten polite e mails asking where my plants are and received no response from customer service at all. If the don’t arrive soon it will be too late for them to fruit. I won’t use Sutton’s again.”
“Delivery delayed, no updates other than generic emails. Poor quality once delivered still waiting for full order with no update very poor service. Suggest you do not order from Sutton’s”
“Seeds ordered on 29th March have not yet arrived (25th April).
Suttons phones are switched off. Generic replies to most emails, but last response advised me that the seeds were despatched and further delays would be due to the postal service. Actually the postal service is very good. Another company, charging less and free postage, posted the same seeds to me on 22nd April and the Royal Mail delivered them today second class.”
