HORRIBLE BOUQUET, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The bouquet I received for an event I was hosting looked NOTHING like what I ordered online. And I don't mean that it was arranged differently, or the colors were slightly off, I mean NONE OF THE FLOWERS WERE THE SAME, NOTHING ABOUT THE BOUQUET LOOKED LIKE THE PHOTO. I received horrible customer service from the owner Sara who told me that if I wanted my bouquet to look like the photo I should have specified that in the instructions. What is the point of having a photo then??? The best they offered to do to make up for this was have me drive AN HOUR TO THEIR STORE to return the bouquet and this time they would try to make one that actually looked like the photo with whatever leftover flowers they had around. What a waste of $180. On top of all that at the flowers are absolutely withered and dry after only a few days. Don't waste your money here people. Would give 0 stars if I could, and I made sure everyone at the even knew about the service I'd receive so they wouldn't bother ordering from here in the future.

I ordered a birthday bouquet and to my disappointment Sweet Pea sent scraps of flowers. With the price I paid it was not worth it.

Hi Sheenagh, As mentioned in your email directly to the floral team, the photo you were sent by the recipient was not flattering, taken in harsh light and directly from above. We feel it did not give a good impression of the bouquet for its actual appearance and style. Our Floral Manager did address your concerns about the style and colour in that same email. When ordering online, you have the option of the design style. In this case, you selected "Designer's Choice". This option gives the florist creative license to make something slightly different from the image, using the same general colour palette, but not necessarily matching the image directly. If you had preferred it was a close to the photo as possible, the option of "As Shown In Photo" was also available. That would have resulted in a bouquet that better matched the online photo. As was mentioned in the same reply, we can assure you that the flowers were extremely fresh, in a pastel palette, and the bouquet was made to value. If properly cared for, the flowers will last 5-7 days. We appreciate your business and your feedback. We will take it into consideration as we continously work to create an online ordering system that is simple and easy to use. Thank you, Sara (Owner)

I went to order a weekly flower subscription but because I lived 1 mile out of your delivery area you canceled my order. Guess you don't need the business!!

Marilyn, We very much want the business, and did our best to find a solution for you, which was explained over the phone when you spoke with one of our team here. Your location is 65km away from our shop, and outside our delivery area. Despite this, we contacted our delivery service to see if they could make an exception, knowing it would be a regular order. Unfortunately, they said 'no'. At that point, we have no way to get the flowers to you. There was little option for us to take an order we can't fill. I can appreciate your disappointment, however, we felt this was fully addressed when we spoke to you. Keep in mind, that delivery is included, for free, with all our subscription orders. Even on the outskirts of the nearest town, the delivery cost is in excess of $25 from our service. Because of this subscription orders are intended for those living in Toronto and the GTA, which is written clearly on the website. Even with this in mind, knowing we would be taking a loss on every order, we still attempted to find a delivery option for you. We did our best to offer you the best service possible. By writing a 1-Star review, you negatively effect the long term reputation of our small business. Having this on our online reviews will bring down our overall rating, and this doesn't expire or go away. Many people will jump to an negative online review, without thinking of the long term ramifications this can have on a business. I would that you consider that we did our best to offer you service, even outside our normal area, asking an exception for you. I don't feel this isn't the sign of a bad business. It would be the same as trying to order food from Downtown Toronto and being angry that they were unable to deliver it to you. I hope you will reconsider your review and either revise or delete it. Thank you, Sara

As we looked into this concern, we found that this issue was the order, along with the request and payment for 10am delivery, was not received until after the shop had closed for the night. As such, there was no way for our florists to receive the order, prepare it, and have the delivery service bring it to the recipient, by 10am, as requested, seeing as we don’t open until that time, ourselves. When timed deliveries are requested, it is noted that 24 hours is required, for us to confirm with the service that the time is possible, and for our team to make and prepare it in advance. We have issued a refund for the timed delivery fee. We trust there is some appreciation that we can’t fulfill a request this like, after business hours. Thank you, Sara (owner)

I was disappointed with my experience with Sweetpea's. My order was not delivered on the date expected. An "internal" problem resulted in the oversight. Things do happen, however I was expecting an agreed revised delivery the following day between 9 - 10 am. This time it was late - I was very let down by this company. I waited an hour for a call back to find out the status. As a customer that was already let down, but still willing to be understanding of your mistake (not delivery service's fault this time) I would have expected better. They did issue a credit for the delivery fee.......however, I would still not recommend or use this company in future.

The bouquet delivered was not tasteful and did not meet the minimum standards for an expensive bouquet. I had previously ordered bouquets from here before and was told they were stunning but the recipient was not complementary this time. I saw a photo and agreed that the arrangement was distasteful. No one at the store was willing to go the extra mile to remedy the situation. You have lost my business and the lady I spoke with on the phone made it clear that losing my business did not matter.
