Travelled all the way to sheffield from London, to find the so-called "shop"was closed, very disappointed 11 year old, also we soon found out it wasnt a shop just a very small unit with 3 boards on a wall. very misleading, have gone elsewhere!!!

We did not get genuine Swegway products the units shipped were unbranded hover board that I would worry may not be safe

Hi Joanne, I would first of all like to thank you for your review all feedback is helpful and helps the company grow so we appreciate this. In regards to your review, our boxes don't have any specific branding on them and in regards to the safety concerns you may have, we have a packaging team in our warehouses who test all the boards to make sure that they are in working condition and safe to use, if any board presents itself to be dangerous or faulty we simply would not send this out to a customer, so there is really no need for any safety concerns Thanks again for your review. We can't actually review the product: We have just opened up the box to give as a gift to my son for his 9th birthday tomorrow and the plug part of the charger is missing. I would like to think you could get a charger to us early tomorrow by what ever means so he can use it tomorrow evening after 12 hours of charging before I put reviews on line!

My swegway came it didn't work I sent for this for my sons birthday who has wanted one for a year ! I'm still trying to sort the return of it and a refund So unhelpful it's a disgrace

Not delivered on time had to phone up to be told u had not sent it out on time had to take another day off work not a good start Rang up to take advantage of 50% off offer, however item that I wanted wasn't included in offer very convenient!

VERY BAD AND CUNNING COMPANY. I purchased a hoverboard for my nephew's birthday. Unfortunately the charger stoped working on the very first time, so he wasn't even able to use it for more than a couple of hours. The 'company' are now trying to force me to pay £100 to get it repaired!! I'm taking the legal route now.

Appalling customer Service Spent 300 POUNDS on a classic swegway Within 3 days of owning, the front LED light completely came away from the housing and was hanging out. The board had not been hit or crashed in any way Charged me 20 POUNDS to ship the board back to them for a 5 minute repair because the glue hadnt been applied properly Within 2 weeks the same light had come away again. They tried to charge me another 20 pounds for shipping to which i refused Dont go near them. The warranty is worthless and they will blame everything on the fact that the board must have been crashed Go to Blue Fin. Much better quality and better service

My swegway doesn't work properly. When riding it for around 10 seconds (sometimes longer and sometimes shorter) the left side cuts out and doesn't work. When trying to contact them there is no reply despite them claiming they "typically replies instantly". Not happy.

Still waiting for parcel. It was supposed to be a birthday gift for my niece on the 15th April, had email saying it would be here on on 13th..nothing.

Hi Lisa, First of all i would like to thank you for your review, all feedback is passed on and is helpful for the company to grow. I can see on our tracking system that this item was sent out on the 12th April but UK Mail held the parcel for 2 days and then the delivery was changed by yourself. We apologise for what happened with your order however we did send the item out in time for the delivery however our courier service held the package which caused the delay so of course we apologise for this. I ordered a Bluetooth Segway but they send me the normal one when I call them they say the system is down and they can't check my order so disappointed

Very disappointed came without charger! And Bluetooth doesn't work!! This was a present for my daughters birthday and was told a charger would be delivered next day it's now Monday and no charger try telling a 9yr old you can't go on it when that's all she wants to do!

Ordered this board but it came without the Bluetooth upgrade and no bag. I queried this and was told to take the board out the box and send pics of the wheels and the underside and top of the board! I felt that I was treated as if I was lying I had only just got the board 10 mins before I emailed them. The story goes on but eventually got the bag but gave up on the Bluetooth upgrade and felt the hassle with this company was not worth it. Please bear in mind that this situation was as I got the board heaven forbid if it needs a warranty repair! would advise to seek a more reputable company.

It's a shame there isn't a 0 ☆ rating for this company. I purchased a swegway for my son at Christmas, he hasn't had a great deal of use out of it with it being winter. A few weeks ago the charger light was constantly charging on green although the swegway was flat. I contacted the company to be told that I needed to send the charger back + £20 to cover shipping charges, however I refused to pay that and sent it off at my own cost (£4). Low and behold I was told that after inspection it was a fault of mine... Suprise suprise. I rang customer services and spoke to a guy who clearly didn't give 2 hoots, all he was interested in was sending me a link to proceed with the £40 payment for a new charger! All I'll say is buy from elsewhere and stay clear of this place!

Hi Donna, I am so sorry to hear that you are so disatisfied with the outcome of your charge. It is never happy news to hear that you have to pay more money for a damaged item replacement, however when we received your charger is was extensively used and was not working. Your parcel was purchased in October, bearing in mind chargers are not covered under warranty, you would have had to pay for a new charger after having it and using it. We must treat all our customers fairly, and abide by Consumer Rights. See the below :- I was promised that the recon Segway for £180 had no scratches and wouldn't see any visible faults ( please look at the black one you was going to send me). I explained I needed product for next day my Sons Birthday so paid extra money for this service it didn't turn up the next day. When seeing the board it was very disappointing the condition it was in so asked for my money back I am now still waiting for my £200 to be back in my account and a son who missed out on an Birthday present. 10 days later still no sign of getting my money back apparently problem in the accounts department. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!

Board failed so we returned it and they are now claiming U.K. Mail have lost it, there are hundreds of people ripped off by this company stay away. I am going to the get directors into court and get them shut down.

We purchased an X-Trail hoverboard with bluetooth for £499 at christmas,are daughter used it for the third time after it had rained and the bluetooth made a strange noise and stopped working.We rang the store and they said we would have to pay £20 shipping costs to return the board which would be refundable if it was a manufacturers fault.We sent the board and had a call to say the chip in the bluetooth had got wet,we told them that are 9 year old daughter had used it after it had rained as the board was supposed to be water resistant and they said we would still have to pay an additional £35 for a new chip.We refused to pay anymore money so the board was returned un fixed,we are currently taking this up with trading standards as the board was mis sold to us.

If I could give zero stars I would! This is THE worst company I have ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with. A long story short, it has taken 5 weeks of numerous emails and phone calls 99% from me as the company don't give a monkeys once they they have your money. The customer service and after sales care is non existent along with the worst attitudes...😤 I hope the people who have had a "great" experience with them never have a faulty board or charger.. Please stop buying from this company they are amateurs and cowboys.

Ordered for my sons xmas and when it arrived it was found in my daughters play house in my front garden although I'd been advised that I wld have to sign for it. Charged ready for xmas and when my son opened it, it was clearly faulty as he went on it and it started to vibrate and shake all over my living room which made my 3 year old daughter petrified off it she screamed wen she seen it any time and wldnt be in the same room as it. I actually have a video off her screaming from another room it was that loud. When I eventually got through after the festive period which btw longest holidays ever they got as didn't open till like 2nd January am sure or maybe longer I was met with sheet attitude from the customer service agent and when I asked them speak to a manager he asked "why he was going to tell me the same thing" got the manager another amateur who I got attitude from. No money offered back nothing even though the product had went on sale £20 cheaper than I paid. Total farce. Also my other son asked for one for his birthday this month and I wld have bought another no problem if I had received and been treated properly first time round. No way was I spending money a second time with this Company. Poor service and staff training needed. Pretty sure the replacement one I got was used aswell maybe shop floor as it was scratched around wheels ect... but I wasn't having anymore hassle my son was happy to have it and able to use it. 2-3 weeks after he got it for xmas. 😤

The products I received were faulty and I have had no success in obtaining a replacement or refund. In respect of the cart I have been offered replacement parts for which I would be charged. In respect of the Swegway I have been offered a repair but would be charged to return the goods. I do not accept that I should have to pay for the repair of faulty goods so have made a claim for a full refund from my Credit Card company
