“yes I ordered 2 pair of maxxus mid crew but what was sent was not the maxxus. that was a bummer but the socks I got are nice.”

“I am a female runner in my 60s. I was excited to try these socks in hopes they would keep my feet warm on cold runs, but I was somewhat disappointed. Last weekend I did a 6-mile run on a calm 23 degrees morning. It was the middle of mile 3 before my feet warmed up, which is about the same as with my other wool socks. I was hoping for better.”

“Overall I really like these socks. I do wish they were a bit thicker, but maybe I just need to order another version. They stay in place well. I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe, but I ordered the medium sock, and I definitely should have gotten the small. I will likely try another pair to see if I can get a better fit and feel.”

“I thought that the material for the socks that I ordered was much "thinner" material than all of the previous socks that I have purchased. Is there a reason for this? Are you making the socks thinner to save money?”

“I've bought swiftwick in the past mainly to wear at night, in bed, because it keeps my feet warm. I like the fact it doesn't leave an indentation around your leg. However, maybe this is a different style then I purchased in the past but it not keeping my feet as warm as the other ones I've purchased.”

“Living in Minnesota & running outside in the winter, I needed a longer sock. While I like the sock for its length, I miss the comfort of the Swiftwick Maxus sock. Unfortunately the Maxus does not come in a crew length which is my dream sock because of its comfort & warmth. I do love the theme!”

“they feel great which i was pleasantly surprised BUT there is a small hole developing in one pair and for $25 that would be a deal breaker. I have worn them 5x.”

“The socks came very quickly, shipping was exceptional. Part of the sock not so much. The foot bed of the sock is very good and comfortable. The upper part of the sock around the ankle is just to tight for comfort and I had to cut them on both sides. I understand from a comment that this is to eliminate the sock from slipping down but it is just to tight for comfort.”

“Always enjoy wearing my swiftwick socks. However, I find that these socks (both black and yellow) are a little bigger around the foot, especially around the toes, compared to my older pairs of Aspire Four Red & Black mediums. Doesn't seem to have the same level of compression as my older pairs and has extra material to the side of the big toe. The Yellows are very bright!”

“I love how the socks fit, material etc and they're really cool. I got the tire tracked ones(knobbies). These socks got too warm even on short rides and gave me. Hot spot. I've never had a hot spot and I'm a distance rider. I tried them multiple times and they got warm. Maybe better during warmer climates we shall see.”

“Great socks but no customer service telephone number. Wanted to change an order but it shipped between the time I put in the request and the email was responded to. If you are selling socks at premium prices, you should have premium service to go along with them. A customer service telephone number is usually customary in the industry.”
