The socks seem to be well made and would last a long time if sized correctly. I purchased large size to fit my size 12 shoe size but I would estimate the socks closer to size 8 max. Extremely tight and barely cover heel. Elastic can't last long being stretched to the limit.

Hi William, I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the sizing of your socks! Someone will be reaching out with you shortly to make sure you are in a correctly fitting pair of socks. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. -The Swiftwick Team

I absolutely love the look and feel of these socks, however I have purchased multiple pairs in the last year and they don't seem to last like a $19 pair of socks should. Out of the 7 pair I have, 3 are showing signs of splitting at the seem mid ankle inside. Holes have started after only 3-4 uses. No matter how good they look or feel it doesn't make sense to spend that kind of money if they won't last.

My son was recommended Swiftwick by his running coach and he loved them but unfortunately after only wearing then twice he developed a whole in the toe....and i checked his toenails were clipped already. So unfortunately that was rather frustrating.

Prefer the 2” collar, anything less causes scrapes on my ankles

Hi James, I am sorry to hear you were not happy with your sock's cuff height! Someone will be reaching out with you shortly to get those current socks exchanged for a pair with our 2 inch cuff height.

I like the design and color, but the socks could be a little longer and thicker. I found the material not dense enough. The sock is a little too thin.

I struggle to get them over my heal. I wear a medical support hose and this is much worse than those. Too thin for me as well

Decent socks but very expensive. I would have preferred more cushion on the bottoms of the sock.

A little disappointed. For a running sock, I thought they’d have more compression for support. I ordered a small and still a little big(I wear a 6 1/2 shoe). On the upside, they are soft and seem to wick well. While I won’t wear these for running, I’ll put them in my every day wear.

I went by the sizing chart provided and the socks are very, very tight. Wondering if I should has ordered the next size up but have not heard back after two times trying to correspond.

These socks are quite nice. The size large are compressive on my skinnier size 10 ankles and feet, so may not be great for thick ankles or feet. My one complaint is that I wish these socks were a bit longer maybe a 5 inch cuff. I find the height to be a little shorter than what I wanted for road biking, but I do enjoy how they fit and function otherwise.

Hi Seth, The ASPIRES that you previously ordered are our most compressive socks, as many people prefer this tighter feel for running, cycling, etc. We do offer 3 different levels of compression among our different styles of socks. However, if you are enjoying the ASPIRES and just wish for a taller cuff height, our ASPIRE Sevens are very popular. Someone will be reaching out with you to send you a pair of the taller cuff height on us to try out!

I like the socks but They shrink in the wash. Same problem I have with the cotton ones. I wish I would’ve ordered the XLs.

Hi, Unfortunately, if our recommended wash and care instructions (Machine Wash Cold. Tumble Dry Low. No Bleach or Iron) are not followed, they could end up shrinking. However, someone has just reached out with you to exchange your Large socks for XLs.

After a few wearing the socks appear well made. They fit well and are nice looking. Though I skipped the big sock companies for a small business to find good socks to wear in the Arizona summer heat. They are not any cooler than a few other brands I had tried previously. All in all nice socks that will wear nicely in cooler weather.

Kinda bummed that I get really hot spots from these socks. They're okay on shorter runs so I'll just use them for that.

Caroline, I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your socks! We do recommend following the size chart with your true to size shoe size, but sizing up if you have a wider foot. Someone will be getting in contact with you to make sure you are in a pair of socks that fits the best.

I'm disappointed that my recently purchased socks are too wide and loose in the toe area to be comfortable in my cycling shoes. I have older pairs of the Performance 1 style that fit snug around my toes and don't bunch up in my shoes. This is a really important feature for me! I won't buy them again although I do love Swiftwick socks.

Nice socks... fit is good.. however... rather concerned about how thin they are... how long will they last? Only time will tell... but at 14 and change per pair?

I wish I had know the amount of compression moderate means. I probably should have ordered firm, but I was afraid they would be too tight. There was no indication of the strength and the socks that work for me are 20-30 mmHg. I am recovering after achilles tendon surgery and I needed enough compression to help with the swelling down throughout the sock. They seem good quality just not enough compression for my needs.
