“Purchased the Swiftwick socks for my husband. Ordered the large since he wears a size 10 shoe as described in the sizing chart. However, the socks are way too small for him to wear.”

“I thought this was a BETTER sock. I wear a size 10.5 and I have to stretch sock to get it to fit. Did I get the wrong size? Every other Swiftwick sock works, though some have seem to ' shrink over time. This one was small at the beginning... MAXUS One Black / LG”

“Disappointed. I’m not sure how the different versions compare to 5-10 years ago, but the Aspire line has a slippery feel now. They don’t stay up and gradually bunch at the ankle. The swiftwicks I have from long ago still have much more compression than these. Hope I can find a version closer in feel and fit to the original swiftwicks.”

“I have owned the socks for 3 weeks. A hole has developed in the seam mid toe. I love the socks and hope this is a one off mishap in manufacturing.”

“I got the performance, aspire, and one of my friends gave me the Maxx. I didn't like any of them because my feet feel they are burning when I use them. Not sure if the size was the problem and I should have gotten large instead of medium or if it is the quality of the socks. The website was very confusing and I couldn't really find what I wanted which is cushion and arch support together on the sock.”

“I’ve worn Smithwick for 5 years. It is the only sock I use for running. I purchased 2 black pairs and 2 white pairs. The white pairs both slip at the heel. On a 10 mile run, I had to stop twice to pull the sock out of my shoe. Same size as I always wear. I’m perplexed.”

“Video shows bk amp with a size 7 was to short so I got 11 to tight on upper leg so dis appointed prob need 14 LG or some thing”

“I have been buying the swiftwick Aspire sock since they first came out. I always loved them until this last purchase. There is a definite difference in the fabric weight and next to no compression unlike the older versions.”

“Advertised size was 12 to 15 my shoes are size 13 socks were really tight and hard to put on, after a 50k they were really hard to get off. Disappointed that they are not easy to get on and off. I gave my second pair to my son with size 10 and they fit well on him.”

“Wear a size 6 1/2 shoe - ordered a size small - sock on the small side. Would have benefited from a size medium :( Had to keep tugging on the back of sock to prevent it from sliding into my golf shoe. Disappointed”

“I picked these socks because I bought them a few years ago and liked them. Unfortunately, after one wash I noticed that one of the socks had a run in it. A little disappointed!”

“What a disappointment. I've been buying these Aspire socks since I discovered them at a bike race in Atlanta back in 2006. They used to have very solid compression for the arch and the materials were top quality. I literally have pairs that I have been using for 4 years or more - they never lose their stretch, the cuffs were tight but not binding and the compression in the arch was fabulous. When I received these Aspire socks at first I thought I had received some cheap knockoff version from Amazon and had to double-check where I got them. Swiftwick - go back to your roots and bring back the quality and materials you had for years. If this is your sock moving forward sadly I will be looking for a new sock vendor. At the very least - don't use the same name but offer inferior quality and compression.”

“I have always been a rabid fan of Swiftwick Socks! This round of ordering and finally receiving have tainted that feeling. The order took an eternity to receive. Once received and upon inspection I noticed what seems to be a product that seems to be made of “lesser quality”.”

Thank you for sharing this review! Our sock styles feature different compression levels ranging from "Firm" to "Relaxed". The "Firm" amount is exclusive to the ASPIRE style, and all of our other sock styles feature a "Moderate" amount of compression, besides the MAXUS, which has a "Relaxed" amount.
