I believe is not a good school to learn French. The rules and the things they offer is completely different to what they really do. Also, the classes with the professor are more to repeat, instead to solve and try to understand the questions the student might have.

Flexibility without availability doesnt help... we are allowed to opt for echange class anytime but there is no availability most of the time.... I have spent and lost enormous time of mine fixing up dates/ schedules for classes....a 2 week advance class request needs to be given for having any availibilty... SFS is highly not recommended for anyone as loss of precious time is included .... huge cost with very less oppurtunity of getting classes...

With my experience of learning different languages in different countries I have never seen such a bad school!. There is NOTHING good there: no proper teaching, no structured program (just random classes with random topics with no follow-up on learnt material), every class has a different set of students, so half of the time is spent on the presentation, teachers are always late (and you cannot blame them, it is not their fault but the schedule is organized in this way), classes are composed of students with very different level (beginners and advanced together), there is no explanation done by teacher (you are supposed to study the materiel at home and if you did not understand something it is your own problem, luckily there is always google to help you), teachers in french classes speak always English.... And all this at very expensive price. Cherry on the cake is that the lessons are not guaranteed: if you want to attend the class (after you paid for it) you have to call at 8 a.m. on a certain day to book it. If you did not do it, you don't get it and loose your money.

I paid for three courses as there was a discount and I was assured that everything would work really well, it was all supposed to be very flexible etc. I would not recommend doing that, take the shortest module you can to try out if the method works for you. For me it was a waste of time and money. The technology for audio did not work, despite the salesperson assuring me that there were no issues. A lot of the program relies on this. I wasted many weekends trying to get it to work but didn’t manage. The course killed all my motivation to learn because I was just struggling with the technology. I was trying to get my money back on several occasions but no success. Hugely disappointing experience, unfortunately. I would not recommend.

No one told me that the lessons are mostly made of "computer programm" and there is not a lot of "front teaching" at all. I even told them that I am unhappy but as I have already signed the contract I wasn't able to stop the Programm and get some of my money back. Unfortunaltly I am really not happy with this school!

I am a native english speaker with no French background... the beginner classes were extremely difficult as the teachers would reluctantly speak english with us so we did not know what was being asked of us. I have since joined a class elsewhere and progressed much more rapidly with the teachers willingly engaging in english to ensure we understand what is required of us before then practicing our french. This class also happens to be 1/4 the price of what I paid for with Swiss French School.

The small group promised turned out to be myself and the language program on a computer that poorly functioned in a room full of students creating background noise. I regret having chosen your school it was a waste of my time. I should have simply purchased the language program instead

The promise to get to the B1 level was not true as after the intensive and very expensive program we did with Swiss French School, I did not pass the exam of B1 for the University of Lausanne and Delph. The real level is below and the way of teaching is definetely not good. For example, the teaching accent is made only on the communication part and there is clearly not enough of writing, reading and analyzing texts, etc. All in all, I would never recommend Swiss French School to someone else! Best of luck for the future.
