“Replaced lenses on a prescription pair of sunglasses with non Rx lens as they are no longer needed after eye surgery. Everything was as advertised with personal communication with
co-founder Jacob. Just sent an expensive pair of Coach sunglasses from my late wife to have the Rx replaced for my sister-in-law that is having cataract surgery. Whole process took less than a week from when they received them. I highly recommend as a great way to re-firb favorite frames. Chappy”

“Ive had a pair of Oakley holbrook XLs for the last four years for yacht racing and despite my best intentions of looking after them, they eventually become scratched to the point I would no longer wear them. I ordered the Tajima replacements and at a fraction of the cost of replacing the Oakleys. The lenses fit better than the originals. In fact Id consider the new lenses to be an overall upgrade in all regards.
Ive promised myself to look after these, but if they do get scratched I would have no hesitation in ordering another pair.

“Let me preface by saying I am a HUGE fan of Costa Del Mar sunglasses. I have owned numerous brands of sunglasses including Ray Ban, Maui Jim, amongst several others. I have thought for a while that the lenses from Costa are superior to them all, and I currently have at least 6 pairs of Costa sunglasses.
I recently dropped one of my favorite pair and one of the lenses shattered. They managed to land perfectly on a corner causing the lens to shatter. Because I had a spare set exactly like them, I decided to look for a "cheaper" alternative to replacing the lenses. I stumbled across Tajima after a few Google searches, and after reading several positive reviews comparing them to Maui Jims, I thought I'd give them a try. I am so GRATEFUL for that decision!!
First of all, the customer service provided by Jacob was absolutely amazing. He was quick to answer any questions I had, and the turnaround time was great. As for the lenses...FANTASTIC!!! I sent in my old frames, they were returned with the new lenses along with my old lenses packed separately. The new lenses are incredibly sharp and I actually prefer them over the identical Costas that I have. All my Costa sunglasses have their top-tier lense (580G), and the lenses from Tajima surpass them. I am blown away and will use them again without hesitation should I scratch/damage another set.

So I found this place called Tajima Direct, talked to Jacob, he spent quite a bit of time helping me pickout the color shade, and placed the order.
