Thanks for your feedback. The Standard Grade Gaffer tape you purchased is designed to be low/no residue tape for temporary applications. If you are referring to the finish, we have both a low gloss and 100% cloth matte, though the standard grade is more popular because of the price. Looking into this further, the order was received on Aug 2nd and shipped the same day. Per the tracking information from the carrier, delivery was unsuccessfully attempted twice but was noted as 'receptacle blocked' and finally delivered to the front porch Aug 9th at 3:22p. If you think the carrier made a mistake we can request an inquiry on your behalf or you can ask your local post office who may have additional insight or ability to recover the item. If you have any further information that might be able to help us with the inquiry please let us know though once the package is transferred to the carrier we have little more information than what is posted on the tracking details online. “I purchased a large roll to cover the top of an outdoor fence in a very dark area of my yard. The tape was also supposed to illuminate the location of the gate for emergency purposes. In direct sunlight, the tape does not work.”
Hi- We are sorry to hear the tape isn't working for your fence. It is usually not suited for outdoor applications but rather "near total darkness". Outdoors, even at night, there is often too much ambient light to see a bright shine you might be looking for but you should definitely see the glow. We are sorry to hear that. We are going to send you a roll of Natural rubber adhesive, excellent with recycled corrugated. with a super aggressive adhesive plus one roll of the same tape you received because we think you might have received a bad batch. Please contact us for exchange or return.

We're sorry this product did not work for your application. The 6 hour photoluminescent tape emits a light green glow but is not designed to replace your LED or battery operated light blub that actually creates light. It's best suited to be visible is near darkness such as in the event of a power failure to illuminate exits.That said, free return labels were delivered last week to each of your email addresses in our systems. You can return the product to us for a refund within 30 days. Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you at this time.
