“Hi I passed my driving test with Colin he is so patient and honest he really helps me to pass my driving test I am so glad that I found him one of the best instructors from aa driving school and he gave me free of ours as well thanks for your help I really appreciate it. I really recommend him if your looking for someone nice and calm.”

“I was able to pass on the first try with a few minors thanks to my instructor Winston. He was very supportive as I wasn't sure whether I was ready. We drove around the test areas a lot, so during the test I was feeling more confident. Highly recommend.”

“Abid was good, the online system is awful. Timed out too quick, paid £120 booked 2hrs, then it sucked up the remaining 2hrs & I couldn't book another lesson. After going back forth email, email links, phone etc had to log complaint to try & sort it. Carry on treating people like this, your making money doing nothing.... not on!!! Looked @ other reviews & similar complaints: book online, pay up front & take your chance...this is another BIG name company gone digital; not nice experience when ripped off like this 2 days before son sits his test want to do some extra driving as advised. SORRY,you are driving us round cyber bend.”

“AA driving school provided me an excellent driving instructor, Jesuthasan Rajkumar (Raj). The lessons were really helpful and he’s very experienced instructor. I passed the test first time away today in West wickham. I highly recommend AA driving school and AA driving instructors and instructor Raj.”

“Passed my test today! My instructor, Jason, was friendly and knowledgeable throughout my lessons with him and he gave me the confidence I needed when I first started driving. His focus was on teaching me to drive well rather than passing the test, and he was always very accommodating with booking lessons at a time that worked for me. I would highly recommend him as an instructor for any new learner!”

“I passed my driving test with Jesuthasan Rajkumar (Raj). I had previously failed my driving test 3 years prior and was so nervous to restart lessons, but Raj was very encouraging and made me feel at ease. I was on a tight schedule as I had my test booked within a few weeks, but Raj made sure to find availability so that I had sufficient practice before my test. He cares about his students and made me feel confident that I could pass my test. Highly recommend Raj as a driving instructor!”

“I passed my test driving test with only two minor faults. My instructor Fehmida Ahmed was recommended to me by my friend who changed three instructors until she found her. Fehmida is amazing, teaching me to be a good driver but not just pass a test. My previous instructor was from RED driving school. He was pulling my money out of my pocket, making me only driving around the quiet residential area I live in. With Fehmida I learned how to drive around the roundabouts and on the dual carriageways in a few lessons. Fehmida is not only knowledgeable instructor she is also a brilliant person with a very good approach as I felt very comfortable and confident during every lesson with her. She has a conscientious attitude to job she does. Fehmida covers Colindale, Hendon, Mill Hill, Wembley and Pinner areas. I would highly recommend her to everyone who is thinking to learn driving.”

“Good instruction, but charged a fine before I even got behind the wheel. Instructor came to pick me up and drove into (and out of) a private car park, incurring a fine. The driving-school administrative team attempted to pressure me into agreeing to pay this fine over the phone and are now washing their hands of this. The instructor was very professional, but their admin department are something else! Avoid!! Go direct to the instructors if you can!!”

“Had an unpleasant experience with the driving school. I contact the customer service and requested for information on booking driving lessons and test day lessons for my upcoming driving test. I was told that I’d have to do this online using their website. The website was very user friendly and it took me only a few minutes to book on driving lessons. Over a week down the line, I got a call from the instructor to get to know me - which I thought was a wonderful idea. However, upon learning that I already have a driving test booking in for a month down the line and also because of where my test was (which I mentioned while booking the lesson of course) I was told that they wouldn’t be able to offer me driving test and that I should contact customer service to get it changed. After contacting the customer service and waiting for quite long I was told that no instructor was available in the area upon which I request for a refund and got myself free of this torture. I believe it is a great idea to have all these online forms and collecting money before hand but these forms should actually be integrated in a way that they include all the relevant information so that the company doesn’t have to cancel bookings down the line and waste everyone’s time while retaining money from customers and profiting over it during that time.”

“My daughter was taking lessons with AA but her instructor had some personal issues so couldn’t carry on. They found a new instructor who cancelled on the day of the lesson. Eventually booked a 2 hr lesson with yet another AA instructor. The instructor shouted at her 3 times within the first 10 minutes for making mistakes to the point that she got him to drop her home and came in crying! Have tried to get through to AA about this but they don’t answer the phone and say use the online chat. Online they were very unhelpful and refused a refund. So she is 18 years old, trying her best to get driving and AA have taken £60 of her money (a whole weeks money for her) and refusing to acknowledge the issue. Avoid!”

“I asked to be heard out and try to understand where I was coming from. The driving instructor was awful and treated me terribly and there was a lot of issues because of it. The lesson never happened in the end and I was scammed out of £50 because of it. The instructor was very rude and blunt towards me, his reactions towards everyting was veyr harsh and told me I was probably going to fail my theory test. He was blunt and totally spoke down and belitted a potential student, but then I went ahead and actually passed my theory test with flying colours on the first attempt, so who is he to say that about someone and treat someone with such disrespect, what kind of teacher is that? I don't have much money and I had to spend a ton more, my mental health is unstable and it caused me a lot of anxiety and depression. I was trying to contact management and customer service over and over again and they were very abrupt with me and didn't care at all what I had to say. I never write bad reviews but I had to because this has really agitated and taken a massive toil on me. If you are looking for a kind driving instructor and kind customer service, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, come here.”

“I passed my driving test from the first attempt, only with 2 driving(minor) faults. I like AA school website, it was very easy to find the instructor in my exam area. Booking process was seamless enough. My instructor Kajanraj Thavayogan is a good guy. I was an experienced driver, he took it into account and taught me not basics, but tips how to pass driving test. I definitely wouldn't have passed my exam from the first attempt without him. We practised directly in the exam area and he told me how to avoid pitfalls and cured my bad driving habits. Also he explained me nuances of UK driving rules because I used to drive in an another country. He car is modern and in very good conditions, so I didn't have any problems with it during my test.”

“Had a test booked. The driving instructor cancelled the day before so not only did I not do my test I lost my money aswell. Proceeded to then ring and shout at me during the day all because he didn’t want to get up early. Didn’t do much for my confidence has he’s told me it was my own fault why I failed the first test. He’s now cancelled all my lessons,told me to find another instructor. Shouted yet again and then put the phone down. He was always late for lessons so I never had a full two hour slot.”
