“The instructors are great, know what they're doing and very friendly. The locations are accessible. The facilities and equipment are definitely 5 star. I looked online for ages for a nail academy and this one definitely stood out as you get what you pay and no hidden charges, with other places they were either missing some important topics in the price you pay and I didn't like that. I liked that I could pay one lump sum and then I was given all the information and can attend whenever I like and know that I am learning all the important stuff that I need to.”

“I have found the beauty academy to be most helpful. My correspondence has all been done by email as it was the most convenient way for me working shifts etc. The academy respond quickly and efficiently every time. I am looking forward to my first block week, hopefully in July.”

“Indian Head Massage Course : Tutor read verbatim from work book and did not seem to expect any of the students to have studied the content before the course. Felt course was expensive for input received.”

“I chose the Beauty Academy for the flexibility to learn Beauty Therapy alongside working and looking after my children. The courses are very well organised and the tutors very knowledgeable & approachable. I have qualified and now gone on to Level 3 Massage Therapy with The Beauty Academy. I am very sure I will also do many of their other courses in the future. There is a lot of choice and locations all over the UK. It's fab! Defo recommend!”

“I enrolled for the complete makeup artist training course and it was a great experience. I learned some great tips about being a professional makeup artist and how to deal with clients, which is important for a MUA. Tutor was really nice and helpful, would definitely enroll for another course.”

“I am currently on the level 3 course in make up artistry and it is terrible!! You have to complete written modules at home before you have even done any practical training. Answering questions about subjects you have no idea or experience in. When you ask for help they tell you to copy from the study guide so basically learning nothing. They rush you to book onto the practical days and if, even in an emergency, you can't attend they make you pay £50 to reschedule. On the practical days, which out of the whole course over 9 months you only have 10 practical days... The tutors are nice but don't teach you anything. They need re training in up to date make up.. They don't show you their skills on a model.. Wonder why?! The products and tools they use are really basic. My make up is better quality and the other girls said the same. A few of the girls have left the course and wasted all that money because it's just not worth it. Pay for a make up lesson from a few make up artists or watch YouTube; you will learn a hell of a lot more and won't cost half as much!! For 3 & a half grand you don't even get a kit. They send you nothing through the post etc so how can they justify that amount??”

“I bought the coconut damp hair leave in conditioner and I love it. I actually bought two bottles and one disappeared into my daughters bedroom. I love the smell and overall conditioning benefits the spray gives. My hair has never felt so silky and will definitely buy again”

“Excellent practical training 5 stars for this lets itself down with the support side of things. Individual courses have been excellect but not the same expeience witg my vtec took some of the required courses sent the courses material struggled with this for nearly 12 months and not had a call or email asking if i need any help. Feel the support could be better.”

“All the trainers I had at the Beauty Academy were really professional, knowledgeable and always happy to give extra tips. Courses run over weekends which is perfect when looking at a career change and fitting retraining around full time work. It was a real pleasure training here and I hope to expand my skills further with them really soon!”

“The facial course I attended in Cambridge was very thorough and I felt confident carrying out the treatments very soon after. Our tutor was very encouraging and she made learning fun and interesting. I will definitely be attending more courses at The Beauty Academy in the future!”
