London Campus is very good but some teachers are so rude and their attitude is always to discourage the students instead of keeping in view that they are new in this field and need their guidance. Like Ms. Fay is very non - cooperative teacher and always will be on phone during assessment and later on fail the students intentionally, on the other hand school has also very good teachers like Kim and Sharon, these two are very talented, informative, supportive to students always.

Didn't feel like we were given enough training

Had a fantastic course for manicure, pedicure, facials and also waxing but horrendous course for lashes. All imformation given was wrong and when calling the office after the course, I was told it was just a misunderstanding. You can't misunderstand what's in black and white course notes! Wouldn't train with you again as you cost me clients.

They take your money and you find your models for weekday tests

Excellent practical training 5 stars for this lets itself down with the support side of things. Individual courses have been excellect but not the same expeience witg my vtec took some of the required courses sent the courses material struggled with this for nearly 12 months and not had a call or email asking if i need any help. Feel the support could be better.

The training was ok. The make-up lesson was particularly disappointing for non-Caucasian students, as very little of the makeup could be used on them. Once you'd finished the course, you had to find all of your own models, who needed to be available on a weekday (X3) so that you could do your practical test. I just couldn't get people who a) wanted all of the treatments on a particular day (e.g. one was reluctant to have false lashes put on, but was ok for the other treatments) and b) who were free for an entire working day (most of the people I know are in full-time employment). I even offered to pay them for the day off, but in the end it was the combination of treatments that put them off. The literature that Beauty Academy post on their website, doesn't indicate that you will have to sort out your models and all of your cosmetics (including wax pots and thermal mitts). Although I scored in the late 80s and 90s (%) for all of my theory, I had to give up. If I do resume training again, it definitely won't be with the Beauty Academy.

I enrolled on the complete makeup course in June of this year and was very disappointed with everything to do with the course if I'm honest. I was recommended this course by your administration team after I told them I work in cosmetics retail and have always had a keen interest in makeup and beauty so I know a fair amount. I can 100% say that I learnt nothing new from that course whatsoever and I am hugely out of pocket because of it. The course tutor had just one years experience in the industry and on more than one occasion showed poor knowledge and application techniques. As I arrive at the course my details were also not there so did not have my own workbook, nor get my certificate on the last day of the course. I do not believe I got my £600 worth out of the course and have not received any further support other that a phone call a few weeks ago in which I told the caller everything I am saying now and he did not so much as offer a phone number to the relevant department let alone transfer me to them. My course was six months ago now. I doubt I would do another course through the beauty academy as I feel it was a total waste of time and money.

Unfortunately the "course" lasted just a few hours, the member of staff we sent on it had no real practise in the skills and was left confused and unprepared as a result of the training.

I was disappointed with the lack of professional approach to training. The trainer did more chatting to some one who had been on previous courses then she did training. We all had to leave buy 4pm as she had clients coming in for treatments. I have been on course else where and would give them 10 out of 10. The Beauty Academy sadly I would give 4 out of 10.

I felt the course was too full, making it difficult for the tutors to provide the one on one tuition required to fulfil students requirements. The class was very mixed with complete beginners in the make up industry with more advanced students. For myself, I am already a qualified artist and took the course to perfect my existing skills and stretch my existing capabilities. This was not possible because the class was too mixed, so complete beginners required more help and attention. My tutor was fantastic, however to pay £1000 for a weeks course, I expected a lot more and a lot more attention on a121 basis.
