“as usual, the bottles were ready, the staff attentive, pre- journey the emails are always responded to swiftly. It is still a "great value" shopping trip and having the extra night stopover makes a good break.”

“Highly recommended, not only do these guys give great value but they give great service. You cannot argue with having your travel paid for and prices less than half the price you pay over here but there are also tasting facilities and occasionally they give you free wine for shopping there. I cannot see why you would ever go anywhere else.”

“Excellent service as always, great staff friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was that the website showed (at the time of departure) the exchange rate was £1 = €1.35 When I arrived at the store this had changed to £1 = €1.40 The website was updated a few days later. I placed my order based on €1.35 and brought enough Euros to pay that amount. So ended up costing me more”

“Excellent as always . The updated website is easy to use, the stocks of wine always extensive and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable . My order was ready when I arrived and checkout was immediate . The fact that you get all of this plus a free ferry crossing makes it a brilliant deal”

“Very easy to book. Lots of parking outside. Big trolleys in store with a nice tasting area. Enjoyed my visit and once my 96 bottles have been drunk I will be back.”

“Superb service from start to finish. Used the tunnel promotion , brilliant. Crossings all sorted for me, easy to view and pre order , order ready on arrival , even saved a further £6 as wine cheaper when arrived, friendly staff easy to pay in pounds or euros , great value for money . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.................”

“I had reservations about going to Calais because of the current situation there. I really shouldn't have bothered! The trip by Euro Star was fantastic, on time with no issues, as always the ordering process was swift and accurate with the staff doing their absolute uppermost to satisfy their customers. Fear not Calais Wine customers, get back and do your Christmas shopping.”
