“Great place to try the wine before you buy, we find taking bread sticks or similar, while trying the wine otherwise your mouth can dry up a bit especially with the reds.”

“We have been using the Calais Wine Superstore for the past 5 years or so and have always found their operation both friendly and efficient. Their prices in our experience cannot be beaten and the pre - order travel offers are quite honestly the icing on the cake.”

“I am a regular visitor and was greeted with a cheery hello as soon as I walked through the doors. My pre-ordered trolley was ready and waiting. With time to spare we wondered around and tried new lines in the tasting room. You have clearly been listening to feedback as there were plenty of clean wine glasses and the worksurfaces were being freshly cleaned. After tasting a couple of wines we added to our order. The customer before me was trying to buy half the store, so a new till was quickly opened and we were served with the usual smile and courteousness.”

“We have been using Calais Wine Superstore for some years now and these guys never disappoint. They deliver a first class service with excellent choices of good value wines at ridiculously low prices. We don't go there to buy expensive wines (although you can if you want to)---we enjoy the well known names at fabulous prices. One example from our recent trip there last week is the Casillio del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile which Asda has just reduced from £8 to £5 a bottle---Calais Wine are selling it at £2.99, a saving of 40% on Asda's reduced price! Nothing is too much trouble for these guys and they are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and also help pack your car! Thoroughly recommended! Martin”

“First time visitor and was a little apprehensive about the trip. Need not have worried as finding the store from the Euro Tunnel was very easy. Once at the store the order was ready. The guys there where very helpful and also knew their wine. Definately recommend the experience to anyone and will be visiting again. Thanks!”

“I pre-ordered and as usual it was already when I arrived. The staff are always very helpful and if the company, on the rare occasion, have run out a specific wine then their recommend replacement is very acceptable. Would certainly recommend Calais Wine Store to others.”

“As always, my order was totally ready for me. I was alo able to taste more wins and use my discount voucher to purchase even more wine. The travel discount codes ensure excellent value for money. “Practically perfect, lovely weather, reasonable traffic conditions and no delay. Arrived at the Superstore to find our order ready, carefully checked over with the staff and off to the Tunnel. 'Would you like an earlier train?' Yes please. Door to door ( Billericay ), six hours and no speeding! Oh, nearly forgot to mention the wide range of great value wines.”

“Ordered ahead as usual. Good value wine. Chose ferry because of Tunnel problems; paid by CWSS Ready to collect on arrival. Could not have been at store more that 15 minutes. Very satisfied.”

“The service was excellent from start to finish, from online ordering from a selection of excellent and varied wines, arriving and picking up our order all ready for us on the trolley, the tasting of a couple of wines we hadn't ordered before and check out with 6 free bottles of excellent Rioja offered free. Throughout the process which lasted 20 minutes we were assisted by a charming an efficient young woman. I cannot fault Calais Wine stores in any respect. Oh, and they even paid our ferry fare. On a £300 pound order we saved over £1000 on UK prices. No wonder we go every year! D and M Lambert, Cambridge UK”
