“Easy to order via the website; great incentive with the "free Eurotunnel" offer; friendly, efficient staff. We used to shop elsewhere for wine but came across this place about five years ago and haven't really been elsewhere since when buying wine in Calais.”

“Ordered on line, all purchases organised on a trolley ready to load, but such good deals, went round again! Wine tasting great idea and all the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Enjoyable day out, free Eurotunnel a bonus!”

“Although I have visited the store in the past, this time was my first specific trip and online order. I arrived, order was all ready on a pallet, whilst it was being double checked I added a few cases from the store.......paid and headed for the supermarket! Very slick, very quick.............. Nigel”

“I have been shopping here for at least seven years. The Calais Wine Superstore is an excellent place to buy a wide range of fizzy wines, wines and beer. Just off junction 3 from Calais port or down the road from the large Calais Carrefour supermarket and petrol station. It is also only 10 minutes off the main North South motorway if you are using the Tunnel or via Dunkirk. There are always special deals on wine, some by pre-order and some when you call. If you are on a short break or day visit to France then there are offers which will pay for your crossing. I always go for longer so take advantage of the other discounts. It is quite easy to decide how to get the best offer. In the store there always plenty of wines that you can taste and the staff are friendly and helpful. The store is well organised and there are big signs for each area of wine so you do not need to wander around all the store if you know what you want to buy. On my first couple of visits I spent a while mooching but now I know what I want and I pre order so it is all on the truck ready for payment and loading in the car. There are some brilliant savings to made on British supermarket prices between £2 and £7 a bottle because of the extra taxes on alcohol in the UK. Cheers CN”

“We always enjoy our visits to Calais Wine store. We pre-order, and get a free tunnel crossing. Our order is always ready, but we generally end up buying more after we have sampled some of the great wines which are available for tasting. “Very responsive to our last minute call to book a trip. All sorted efficiently and trolley awaited our arrival. One out of stock was advised well in advance. Tasting room worked well and when we wanted to try a wine that was not available Craig happily opened a bottle for us to try - unlike a nearby competitor! Very pleased with the service.”

“It is so easy to shop at the Calais Wine Superstore! The on-line shop is simple to use and it's clear what quantities the wines are sold in! On arrival your order is ready on a trolley so you could be in and out in less than 10 minutes! The superstore is conveniently located within a 10 minute drive of the Eurotunnel so you could arrive, collect and be back on a train within an hour!! The free Eurotunnel crossing for orders over £300 makes it worth the journey, especially if you're having a large party! The wines are exceptionally good for the price as well!”

“Absolutely fantastic service from Calais Wine! We had spent over £300 so used the free Channel Tunnel crossing offer and I can't wait to use it again. When we arrived, our order was ready and waiting to collect. We wanted to add more items after being able to try stuff we'd seen online in the fab tasting station. The staff helped us find items as we couldn't find what we were looking for. They even offered to help us out to the car after we'd paid. Unfortunately, one of the boxes broke as we were loading the car and a bottle of wine smashed in the car park. Staff were straight out to help clear up and replaced the broken bottle. I didn't expect it to be replaced as it was my fault, but they didn't hesitate. Overall, the staff do an amazing job and are so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be recommending to friends and will be using the service again!”

“We have used CWS for a number of years. They offer a wide range of choice and are 100% reliable on travel arrangements and at the point of service in Calais. Equally they offer tremendous savings on the wine against the same product sold in the UK. Great service also.”

“The team at the store provided vey hood service and in particular with the problems of the Eurotunnel timetable disruption. They even managed to rearrange our return journey whilst we were paying in the store. More power to them. I will keep coming when ever I can.”
