“The wine warehouse was very busy when we arrived. Despite this we got excellent service (as usual) and wouldn't hesitate to go back there. All the staff were smiley and helpful to everyone - Calais Wine Warehouse is the best!”

“With easy access from both the Calais Ferry Port and Euro Tunnel, CWS is the ideal place to pop over to from the UK for the annual wine run. With a great choice of wines and Champagne at prices across the board, along with helpful staff to guide to the best purchases, you simply cannot go wrong.”

“This was our 3rd visit and we bought family to show them how easy it was to get really good wines at great prices. The crossing we booked directly this time but used the free crossing deal previously. The wine tasting room where you can sample the wines for sale at no charge is a brilliant idea and we found some fabulous wine through that. Whilst we hope they continue to do well we also like the small enterprise feel of the Wine Superstore. Thoroughly recommend them”

“I visited with my daughter so she could taste which she did with enthusiasm. The staff were fantastic opening any bottle she wanted to try. Some of the bubble bottles were down to the dregs and they were so obliging. In the end we went home with about £700 worth of goods so it was we win you win situation. Also called with Pidou nearby since CW had sold out of the Cremant we wanted. However they didn't have it chilled so we came on to CW and ended up making all our purchases there. Pidou do not have the amazing tasting facilities CW have. I pre ordered quite alot of wines which when I tasted I wanted to change. THis was no problem to do. Its just such a great company. OH and also Pidou only accept sterling cash or credit card whereas CW accept cash or sterling cheque. Using CR Card abroad usually means you pay more. CW have it all sorted for the best deals for the UK bargain hunter. Happy Christmas to you all and we will remember you as we toast in our prosecco..”

“Love them! Great value wine for all budgets. We have had so many free crossings I can't remember, including one 3 day where we explored the arts and historical offerings of Calais. It's an interesting town and is wasted just heading south on the autoroute. Customer service communication is always quick and responsive to ant queries or problems. Helpful staff. On most recent visit one of them helped load our car in the snow. We appreciated that a lot.”
