“Excellent price, you can taste most of the wines in their tasting area. Staff are brilliant, I have been there many times now. I was pleased to see they have a security guard in the car park now, as we all know they have an immigrant problem in Calais and they are now able to keep the car park secure. Very pleased to see Craig back, nice guy. Great to get a free crossing. It’s not hard to spend £250 (buy some for your friends to bulk up your order if you are now going to spend that much) Thank you Calais Wine.”

“Being able to pre-order online is very helpful. Despite the Christmas rush the staff were coping competently and cheerfully as usual. One small problem was that i was given the impression that Sterling cheques are encouraged at the till and when i presented my cheque the staff member immediately called a Credit Card merchant's number for authorisation. This held up the queue and no code was obtained. Eventually i had to use a Credit Card. I called my bank that evening and was told that Cheques no longer need a guarantee card nor authorisation as long as there are funds in the account to cover the amount. A lesson to be learnt I think!”

“The Calais Wine Superstore is a fantastic experience. The opportunity to purchase good quality wine at a reasonable price and try before you buy is excellent. The staff are very helpful and always on hand. For those who don’t want to taste the wine there is a free coffee machine.”

“All I can say is good wines at great prices. We have made 4 trips in the last 4 years, and have not been disappointed yet, with generally a slightly different selection each time depending on availability. We live in the midlands so each trip is an event, and takes some planning. Even with the cost of an overnight stay and fuel we still make great savings. Staff are very helpful, I wouldn’t dream of buying wine from elsewhere”

“Bit chaotic at Checkout had to find someone regards my order which wany made clear however on par all was sati's factory order was ready in time jus need to organise better the checkout process”

“Excellent service from the wine store staff - my order was all ready on a trolley when I arrived and the whole process from arriving at store to loading my order into the car only took 10 minutes. Thank you and hope to visit again when next in France.”

“Ordered only 3 days before we travelled to Calais. As usual our order was all present and correct. Normal excellent efficient service from CWW staff, we were on our was in fifteen minutes A most seamless pain-free experience Russell Bracegirdle”
