“I have used the Calais Wine Store for many years and have always found them very efficient. On the rare occasion they are out of stock their recommended replacement has always been 1st class.”

“They make it very easy, you can either buy on-line and they'll have it ready for you, or spend a couple of hours sampling and selecting. And did I mention they'll pick up your Ferry or Tunnel Fare too?”

“Very good selection of wines at incredible prices - we go twice a year and load up. Order ahead and it will be on the trolley waiting for you - free ferry or shuttle if you spend a required amount - which we always do. Friendly, helpful English-speaking staff, and you can pay using your English cheque. We now end up spending a third of our previous wine budget, for tastier wine and a fun day out into the bargain.”

“This is our third visit now but first time we have pre ordered, brilliant service. Very helpful staff. Like that you can try wines before you buy. Staff at checkouts are polite and efficient. Think being able to pay in sterling is great. Already looking forward to the next visit.”

“Discovered them only last year after being disappointed with the quality of the local supermarket wines. Great, friendly service. Lots of special offers. Tasting room. Good choice of wines from around the world. At least a dozen wines at only £2 a bottle (and they are very drinkable - not plonk). When you spend a certain amount you get free ferry tickets. What's not to like. We go there at least twice a year to stock up.”

“I have been shopping at Calais wines for a few years now, always have a fantastic selection of wines from around the world along with the opportunity to 'taste before you buy' I always make use of the free travel with Eurotunnel which is quick and easy to book via the Calais wine website, you can either place your order to be ready for collection, or commit to spend and choose when you arrive. They really have thought of everything 5 Stars guys!”

“We have regularly visited The Calais Wine Superstore for years. It's a totally painless experience. We just pre-order our wine from the comfort of our own home via the website. We then either take advantage of their free Euro Tunnel ticket or book our own ticket and take up Calais Wine's offer of free wine. When we turn up at the store all our wine is already on a pallet, which they wheel out & we pack our car. In fact we have been known to be back at the port or tunnel within 1.5 - 2 hours. The wine is very good value - we find no trouble in getting some really nice wines within our budget of £2 a bottle :)”

“Excellent selection of wines all at good prices . One can order in advance, and when you arrive it is all on a trolley waiting for you. If you wish to change your order after visiting their tasteing room , then that is no problem. We always find it a good day out.”
