“I have been visiting the Calais Wine Superstore for many years now. They always have an amazing variety of wines to try and great offers to take advantage of. The fact they will cover the cost of the Channel Crossing if you put in a decent sized order is a definite plus and once you are there the service from everyone involved is first class. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Calais to stock up on wine - they are definitely your one stop shop.”

“We have always found all the staff at Calais Wine very helpful. The new tasting room is excellent and there is never any trouble when you ask to taste a certain wine. There are plenty of wines to choose from and all at a reasonable price. We wouldn't go to any other wine distributor in Calais.”

“The Calais Wine store is easy to find and easy to park right out side. The store is clean, bright and the staff are helpful and friendly. Wines are zoned by the country or origin and priced by the bottle or case, you can buy as much or as little of each wine as you like. There in no pressure to buy and you can taste most of the wines on offer using the clean glasses provided. Payment is by pounds, euros or credit card, so there is no need to worry about exchange rates etc. I hope this is informative especially if you are new to buying wine or going on a booze cruise”

“Great choice of wine at competitive prices. The tasting room puts Calais wine supermarket far in front of all the other suppliers as one needs to be able to sample the wines to make a good choice. The free ferry tickets are a good bonus which again puts Calais wine supermarket in the number one slot against the competition. I can throughly recommend this wine supplier as I use them each time I travel to Calais four times a year to keep toped up with wine. FIVE STAR SUPPLIER ?????”

“The service and selection of wines, is always first class. Just wish you had the range called 120, as we do spend, ( as a family) several hundred pounds per year on this range. The new tasting room is great. Will see you next week. regards Chris Chatting”

“I've been using Calais Wine Warehouse since they opened (having previously been a customer at Oddbins - Coquelles) They provide an excellent choice at exceptional value - with the added bonus of free travel if you spend a nominated amount. Being able to pre-order is so simple and makes my visits so quick. Generally speaking I order more of the same - but when a line runs out as was the case with 2 superb Spanish wines which I enjoyed for a year - having the bonus of tasting takes the element of uncertainty out of choosing. I have always found the (increasing) staff very polite and efficient. Calais Wine Warehouse will continue to have my support and that of friends whom I've recommended.”

“Welcome the beer proposals, but very limited spirits. We still have to go across to the local super market. Now the ferries do not have very good offers, you could take advantage of this. Otherwise the service is good.”

“Been stopping here to top up wine and beer for some years and customer service is brilliant. Generally take up the recent offer of a free day trip in exchange for spending an amount of money. Only seen not tried new tasting area but no doubt will do so soon.”

“Always enjoy visiting Calais Wine. Good selection of wines , reasonable prices and the staff there are always helpful and pleasant. The travel concessions are excellent and are a great incentive to visit. And you get a nice day out as well. What else can you ask for!! Pity about the problems in Calais at the moment.”

“I've been going to Calais Wine since they opened. They've always been good and they just keep getting better. The tasting room is a great hew addition. The reason I go is the great selection of wines at incredible prices. I live 350 miles from Dover so when I go I buy enough for a year, a full pick up truckload. I get a few dozen Aussie sparkly at a bargain four quid, a good few wine boxes for my Motorhome. The rest I hit the three for six pound selection, majoring on S America and Australia. Cheap AND very good quality. I used to check out competitors like Pidou (yuck) and Majestic but they can't get near for price or quality. CWS is my one stop shop now and I hope to return many times. PS I use the tunnel with Tesco vouchers and go for the spend. £1000 get £100 free stock offer. That pays my diesel. For more moderate purchase amounts check out their free travel offers. I love these guys!”

“Where to begin Calais Wine fantastic we have done 2 trips now for our Daughters wines for the Wedding next year, also topped up with the Prosecco and other wines for the Summer and Christmas. Have praised the Store and staff for their warm welcome and expert knowledge and no pressure sales (like one big happy family) friends and family now have taken our advice and with the special offers offers of the paid crossing makes it's madness not to try it..don't forget even if you pre book it and try others at the tasting rooms you can chop and change it's no bother what better to spend the day in France and pick up your orders on the way back, they have it already for you..look forward to going again real soon cheers boys and girls here's to you keep up the good work thanks”
