“Calais Wine is a great place to buy wine and the staff are very helpful. You can order in advance and your order is all ready when you arrive using the complementary crossing. I particularly like the fact that there is so much wine to try, so if you have pre-ordered something and then find you like something better, it's easy to change your order. We've bought our wine from Calais Wine for many years - we wouldn't even contemplate going anywhere else because of the great customer service together with the price and quality of the wine. “I've tried many other places on my regular run across the water and I have yet to find a better selection of good wines with a superb tasting area selection. The staff are always helpful and the pre order facility is great too. The free travel on Eurostar is always appreciated and I can honestly say that you will not need to go anywhere else if you want to stock up on wine, fizz and beer!”

“As we live in the North of England we have only , so far, made one trip to the Calais store. We do plan to return in December though for a Christmas wine shop. We were well impressed.”

“Easy to order on line, all ready when you arrive, tasting available on most items, easy parking , friendly staff and boat or tunnel bookings easy to arrange. Almost too good to be true, but it is!”

“I have always been very pleased with the service that I have received. The staff have always been very helpful and will go out of their way to help, assist and advise. I wish them further success and hope to be visiting them very soon once the problems have lightened in Dover area.”

“Very efficient and excellent value for money. We have visited on numerous occasions over the last few years and normally ordered in advance, allowing for a speedy collection with the help from your very friendly and helpful staff. On my last visit earlier this year I noticed a large increase in the number of migrants in the immediate area which tends to speed up time spent on your premises. Increased security in your car park may encourage customers to stay longer and consequently spend more money. I will be visiting again in November for my Christmas consignment”

Hi Michael Thank you for your comments. Luckily we get very few migrants in the area around the store, however we take your point seriously and appreciate their presence can be intimidating. I have spoken to the directors who are looking to improve security. We have 24 hour cameras in the car park already and have stepped up monitoring. Hopefully the situation will improve soon, we look forward to seeing you in the Autumn. Thank you The Calais Wine Superstore

“We have been going to Calais Wine Superstore now for over 8 years. Always a great selection of wines to suit all pockets. The free travel offer is great, no need to wait around. Call or email them and they will reserve a ticket for you. I have used both the ferry service and Euro-tunnel. The Euro-tunnel is the way to go. They always have a great selection of tasters, in fact all the wines you want to buy, you can sample. On our last visit they were just completing a new sample room. Can't wait to see what its like. Will be visiting again in a couple of weeks.The staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. No pressure at all from any one trying to sell you something you don't want. Completely relaxed atmosphere. Pay in Stirling or Euros. Why would you want to go any where else? Great place to shop.”

“Excellent as usual and a pleasure. Unfortunately you did not register my purchase to pay for tunnel but was resolved the next day. This is the first time you have got something wrong after numerous visits. Highly recommend and look forward to seeing you soon.”

“If I tell you that they give information quickly , thoroughly and in a friendly way , that should ensure me getting a free bottle of something nice . But the fact is that I have been a customer since they opened and never had cause for issue . To the contrary , I continue to enjoy shopping here , have learned a great deal and bought some remarkable bargains . Most of my purchases are in the middle and middle-upper price ranges for still wines and the various "Bubbles " items -- great selections available . But where I have been surprised is with the tip top quality that is available from budget price still wines . Some of those 6 for £12.00 offers are tremendous .”
