“Very friendly place. Easy to find and away from busy areas. Excellent selection to taste. Whites in fridge. Made several visits now and always pleased with purchase. Stock is not continuous so you may not be able to repurchase a good 'find'. New tasting room is much better. Cant really criticise anything...... There wasnt much selection of Prosecco last time..thats all!”

“Easily the best wine warehouse in Calais. Great selection of wines at fabulous prices. Always a good selection of wines to taste, including lots of wines at £2 per bottle. Significant savings on UK prices, and very knowledgeable staff.”

Hi Neil, Thank you for your review, you're right our beer range has not been our main focus however we are working hard to improve it and have recently added Budvar and Heineken to the range. Many Thanks The Calais Wine Superstore

“We have always had a very good experience with the Calais Wine Superstore. We have booked with them online with Eurotunnel and it has always worked very well. It is lovely going over, having a pleasant meal in the centre of Calais and then going to pick up our pre-ordered wine. Having the wine already on a trolley saves quite a lot of the heavy work involved in picking your own - and we have never had trouble in changing our mind or adding to the list if we wish to as the staff all speak English and are very helpful. It is great having such a lot of choice of wines of the world, whereas in the French supermarkets it is mostly French wine. I would thoroughly recommend the store and am looking forward to going again shortly to see the improvements they have made.”

“Excelent prices and a good selection. The most enticing travel offers available. Helpful staff (though there could be more of them). Searching for specific wines could be made easier by better notices - or even a store map.”

“Have been buying wine fromCalais wine for many years due to the fantastic range that is stocked and very good prices . Plus free ferry crossings offered on orders . Staff are always helpful and friendly and web site is easy to use . Would recommend Calais wine to any one who is considering buying wine in Calais.”

“Good for some things, but a bit limited in the "mid-range" wines which we tend to go for (ie £5-8). Sorry to mention the competition, but Majestic is better in that price range.”

“We use the calais wine store a couple of times a year and will continue to do so! The choice of wines, value for money and customer care will make us keep coming back! We relocated from Kent to Dorset 2 years ago and still make a twice yearly visit! Thank you to everyone at The Calais Wine Store.”

“Easy to find & park. Excellent variety of wines, best prices & able to taste before you buy, excellent if buying in bulk. We have never been disappointed! Vouchers sometimes available to make the visit a treat!”
