I sent my FWM for my 2011 Mini cooper after a visit to the BMW dealership for an unrelated issue and while at the dealership they informed me my electric windows would not operate to closed. They recommended I replace the FWM at a cost of 1300+ dollars. Not including cost of unrelated issue. I had researched on the internet last year for repairs to this unit and found ECU. I sent FWM in and within a week it was back at a very reasonable charge. I installed the FWM with no issues and all works as advertised. My wife has a 2010 Mini Cooper with light and lock issues but waiting to see what the recall for the FWM for her year and model will cover. BMW/MINI dealership is not sure either. I am very thankful ECU does this reboot of the FWM that saved us a lot of money. THANK YOU!

I found ECU PRO to be extremely honest and trustworthy. I thought I was having problems with my FRM module, where my front lights were not behaving properly. I found ECU PRO on Facebook (META) Marketplace, where they offered to test my FRM for $99, repair it if necessary for a combined $250, or replace my FRM with a clone for a combined fee of $499. I was notified by ECU PRO, with 2 video files they created, showing my FRM was working properly on their vehicle. ECU PRO found that there was nothing to repair on my FRM. Being stubborn, figuring in my head that the FRM had to be my problem, I asked and paid for a replacement clone, paying the additional $400 for the same. Lo and behold, their replacement clone behaved just like my original FRM, and they were right, no problem was found. I promptly mailed back their cloned FRM and requested a refund, minus their programming fee for preparing their clone to be "Plug & Play" compatible. Once they received back their cloned FRM, ECU PRO graciously refunded back to me the $400 I paid for the clone. This showed me both their technical competency, as well as their comitment to customer care. ECU PRO's integrity is beyond reproach. I highly recomend ECU PRO.

I can't provide enough good comments for the ECU Pro team. I happened to be out of town when my wife had a problem with my 1998 BMW 328is and I suggested having the vehicle worked on at a local garage due to my extended work trip and my inability to work on the car myself, which I prefer. After initial servicing at the local garage for replacement of spark plugs and ignition coils, I was informed that the DME was damaged due to the bad coil. I ordered a new DME from the local BMW dealership assuming my car would be repaired within a few days. Soon thereafter, the car was relocated to the local BMW dealership to have the new DME programmed, which they were unable to complete. Over two months later the dealership informed me I had an bad instrument cluster module preventing them from programming the new DME. At this point, I sent the DME along with the other requested components to the ECU Pro team for repair. Upon return receipt of the repaired DME I returned to the dealership to reconnect it and have the car start and run perfectly. Needless to say, I sustained an exorbitant labor bill at the dealership. I only wish I had trusted my initial instinct and taken advantage of the expertise of ECU Pro at the onset of this fiasco. Don't overlook the expertise of ECU Pro! Moreover, they were very easy to talk with on the phone and were more than willing to answer all of my questions. So, I'll restate, I can't say enough good things about ECU Pro. I wish I had gone to them initially and saved a lot of money. They repaired and reprogrammed my DME at a fraction of the cost of what I incurred at the BMW dealership.

Could not solve a P0304 code problem: changed all 4 ignition coils and all four plugs, still failing. The Mini dealer finally determined that the ECU was bad. Replacement cost was $2400, and only $200 of that was labor. Ten year old car with 110k miles, no way I was going to spend that kind of money. Found The ECU Pro through some Mini forums, and sent them the ECU and a key. Turns out this is a known problem with the Mini ECU, and so common that The ECU Pro folks knew almost exactly which components had to be replaced. My ECU was analyzed the day after they received it, they emailed with the diagnosis, I ok'd the repair, and the ECU was on its way back to me the next day. Very satisfied.
