bad customber service item i brought was next day deliverly but took 2 weeks to come phoned and emailed not happy with reply

Hey Robert, Thanks for taking the time to submit a review. Sorry to hear of the trouble you had with your order. As you placed your order with us on a Saturday, the goods were then dispatched out on the Monday for delivery Tuesday. It does look like the courier may have attempted delivery a few times, so I apologise if they didn't leave a calling card to say they had. I have just spoken with our customer care team and I now believe you are in receipt of the goods? I again apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and we hope to see you again another time.

I ordered a light bulb from you on Friday 13th and paid for next day delivery, so it was due to come Monday. It didn't come. I emailed yourselves on the Monday night and you called back Tuesday by which point I'd had an email saying that my order had left the warehouse and would be delivered that day (Tuesday 17th). It wasn't so I rang back to be told that there was no record of my item having left your warehouse and that the item was out of stock. The lady I spoke to said that she would email the warehouse and get back to me. I received a call today (Thursday 19th)to state that the delivery company had no record of receiving the item and that there were none in stock, so I had to have a refund. Not only did I not receive next day delivery but you sent me emails stating that I had purchased the item and that it had been dispatched when apparently it wasn't in stock. If I hadn't rung to chase it would you have noticed and given me my money back? I doubt it!! I am utterly disappointed with the service I have recieved and will not be using you again, nor will I recommend you to any one else.

Ordered on the 21st Dec and we still have not received the goods. We have checked again today and the goods have still not arrived. Can you please investigate the matter.

Hey, Thanks for taking the time to submit a review. I believe our customer care team has now been in touch? Due to ordering after our Christmas cut off date (4PM on the 22nd) your order was processed with our warehouse on the 23rd. This meant it wouldn't be out for delivery until after Christmas (Wednesday 28th Dec). Sorry for any confusion with this! If you have any more feedback then please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team.

Only received half of my batteries and then was promised the other half by Tuesday and I haven't received them. I have emailed but with no response and it is now Thursday and I still haven't got my batteries.

I asked a question about a product, received a reply a couple of days later. Went to place an order for 6 of the items, which at that time, showed over 600 in stock, I made payment by PayPal (for my security), I received an e mail saying the item was being packed, 3hrs later I receive a phone call to say there has been an error, the item is not in stock, refund to be processed. The company uses an 0844 number for contact, they have an alternative of 01924227941.

Hey Mr Schofield, Sorry to hear of the problems you encountered. The generic order email is sent out to you before it's passed through to our internal system. As you can imagine there is sometimes a slight delay in this happening, which meant by the time it was processed by our warehouse the stock had been allocated to an order. The 600 showing in stock were actually taken by one of our trade customers an half hour before you had placed your order. I can only apologise for this and the delay in our stock updating on our website. Rest assured we are working very hard to cut down on this time delay. I believe as per the message on PayPal we have now refunded your order, but if you do have any other questions then please feel free to get in touch with our customer care team.

If you're happy with poor service then order with The Electrical Guys, otherwise don't bother. At the time of ordering their website said there were 640 of the items I wanted to order. One week later after hearing nothing about the status of my order, I finally had someone answer the phone. They advised that someone in purchasing was looking at ordering more of the batteries I ordered as they were out of stock, there are two issues here; firstly at the time of ordering the website said there were more than enough items to fulfill my order, secondly there was no contact during the week to tell me my items were out if stock so I was none the wiser sat at home waiting for my items to arrive. I did contact The Electrical Guys via their Facebook and Messenger pages and got a swift response outside of hours but they did not follow up on the email I sent. Calling this morning, I cancelled the order and was assured that my refund would be processed today. By late this afternoon I still hadn't received any communication. I chased again by phone and had the refund within minutes, funny that. Everyone knows how important batteries are at Christmas ! I will not order from this company again.

As we deal with a lot of businesses externally from our website there can sometimes be a delay in stock updating on our system. Unfortunately this occurred with your order and our warehouse placed it into 'backorder'. I can only apologise for the delay in correspondence and the refund not being carried out quickly, it's a very busy time for us but again this is no excuse. I ordered a lamps,which claims to be in stock! and paid for them to next day delivery... Then a received different ones! After i called and i sent an email, found out that they are out of stock! And there is a mistake! Its so misleading when someoen order somthing and get another one because the one they ordered is not in stock!! It should mention that the product not in stock! Before ordering! Or when you figure out that the product is not in stock you should at least send an email to mention that. Not delivering other one! Taking people money and pay for next day delivery when the product is not in stock its not ethical.

Having looked into the issue for you, it does look like our team did indeed pick the wrong item in our warehouse. This has caused the SKU you originally ordered to be pushed back into stock on our website. This meant another order was then placed by somebody else and the stock allocated. This is no excuse however and I do apologise for any inconvenience that my have caused. If you would like to speak with us about it further then please do get in touch.

I missed the delivery due to being on holiday. Contacted sales 3 times now to get the items resent plus have paid for them but not received. Really bad service and still unable to get a response .

Two of the radiators were delivered damaged. We emailed to ask for them to be replaced. We are still waiting. We were informed that the courier had delivered replacements but they were delivered to the wrong place. We still don't have what we ordered.

Not that impressed to be honest. Customer service was lacking. I asked what RMA to return the goods too and was told there's no such thing but this is what it says on there website to do? Would never buy from again.

I was sent 2 x 5 light tubes which were smashed, as only wrapped in bubble wrap with no card or box. The Electrical guys totally ignore all contact. Now waiting for the 10 day ebay time frame to initiate a forced refund. Will not be shopping here again.

The two tubes should have arrived in a specialised cardboard box to protect them in transit.
