Dear Hamilton Pen Company I have given three stars because I received Red Lammy cartridges instead of orange as I had ordered and you can check this on the invoice which was emailed to me. I can see that you do not have orange in stock and will have to wait which is a little annoying since they were obivously in stock at time of purchase. Other than that I think the service was speedy and you would have received 5 had the ordered been properly completed but it's okay. We're human.

They are good. But unfortunately I had customs fees and it doubled the price so I will not shop in uk anymore.

Nothing special. The ruler itself was slightly out of true, but nothing I can't live with, and the case was sun-damaged, so the top fifth is darker than the rest. You pay these prices, and you expect perfection, but I'm O.K. with what I received.

The TWSBI nib I purchased was delivred quickly and well packaged.However, the nib itself performed poorly and dismantling it ,there was damage to the feed.The vender would be unaware of this

The delivery of my item was fine but unfortunately the item ordered , a Sheaffer pen ink refill, does not fit my pen. Very dissappointed.

Hi Margaret I'm sorry to hear the ink converter you purchased does not fit your pen. We have had no correspondence from you regarding the pen that you purchased this item for, so cannot give any advice. As detailed in the listing, the converter does not fit all Sheaffer pens so if you please contact us we can hopefully get to the bottom of this and find you one that does.

Hi Karen I am sorry to hear you are disappointed with your purchase, our listing does state that the pen comes supplied with a blue ink refill. The pen you purchased was advertised as a black pen which is what it was, the colour refers to the pen, not to the ink. If you contact us we can exchange the refill for you. Kind regards Nigel

One of two pens arrived broken. The additional customs and the expenses (for Germany) were more expensive than the two pens.

I'm sorry that your parcel was delayed in the post, it was mailed by 1st class post within 24 hours of your order being placed. Royal Mail guidelines are only estimates and not guarantees and these days we are experiencing higher than normal delays, possibly due to widespread staff absences caused by the current wave of covid infections. We do offer a next day delivery service for when receipt of an item by a certain date is required.

Ordered some rollerball refills. I thought they were black but when they arrived they were purple (!) and weren't quite the same as the one that had run out. A helpful customer service person explained that there are ordinary rollerball refills and slimline refills. They looked the same on the website to me. They were happy to refund me so I returned them.

Used this company about 3 years ago and they were great but in the last 2 years their choice of Parker ink cartridge colour has been limited. No purple or turquoise recently.

This is clearly an indication that the refill in your ballpoint pen is at fault. If you had contacted us we would have happily sent out a replacement refill but you didn't.

So far so good. I don’t like to put all of my eggs in one basket regarding reviews, because it makes retailers complacent in their service. Like what I bought though, and arrived in good time.

Delivered on time and the pen is a Duofold so quality assured. Only 3 stars because they don't supply accessories such as duofold nibs etc.

Quick and reliable service and I particularly liked that a proper invoice was sent in a separate email. My only concern is that I was sold a Platignum ink converter that does not in fact bear any reference to Platignum, but quite likely is a general ink converter instead. I haven't had a chance to try it yet as I still have a cartridge in my pen. In hindsight, it might be 4 stars after all.

Kristof, the majority of converters we sell do not have the manufacturers branding on them but I can assure you they are all genuine. If the converter we supplied to you was a "general ink converter" it would not fit as the only converter that fits Platignum pens is the Platignum one. It is beyond me why anyone would take the trouble to leave a poor review based on a supposition and without even checking that the product fits!

I'm sorry you felt it necessary to post a poor review over something that is beyond our control. We are experiencing a large volume of delayed packages as Royal Mail struggle to maintain their service during the Coronavirus pandemic. They have just released a new update advising of further cutbacks in service as they lose more and more personnel to self isolation whilst struggling to meet increased demand from a surge in on-line ordering.

Order arrived very quickly; in a time of lockdown I was so pleased to find a supply of writing paper. Unfortunately the second part of my order - Pilot V5 pens, my favourite pen - arrived Incorrectly as V7 pens. The difference is important. I made a second order hoping the correct pens do arrive.

The writing paper we'd looked for was quite cheap compared with other sources, and while it's usable it's not really acceptable as a present (the purpose) as the top sheet (cover) is marked. I think you're supplying "seconds", hence the cheaper price.

I can assure you that we do not sell products that are "seconds" and I take exception to your suggestion that we do simply because our selling price, whilst not the lowest on-line, is competitive. You paid £3.90 for a pad of Basildon Bond writing paper. If you do not feel that the product is worth that then you could have returned it for a full refund. Frankly, I would rather you returned it to the manufacturer, details can be found at https://uk.hamelinbrands.com/contact/ stating who you purchased them from and stating that you believe they are seconds. Their reply will confirm that we are an authorised supplier selling goods purchased from them and that seconds of these products are not put out to the market place.
