“Took a maxi dress to the Zipyard that needs taking up and I'm absolutely delighted with the result. The dress was fitted perfectly and completed quicker than expected. Highly recommended.”

“Tailored 3 suits for me. The seamstress was very good, listened to what I wanted and made the necessary alterations. A couple things were missed when I went to pick up the suits but they were very minor things which were sorted then and there. I'd recommend and would use again.”

“Took in a dress to be shortened. Got charged £18 and had to pay up front before the work was done, which I thought was unusual. When I collected it they hadn't even hemmed it, just cut it short with a pair of scissors. Really poor.”

“I went into the ZipYard with a dress that I had bought because although I loved the skirt and the print, I was not happy with the style and fit of the top half. I had also bought a kaftan top in the same material. Their seamstress, Anna, was able to remodel the dress for me, using material from the Kaftan to create sleeves, a lovely v-neck and adjusted it so that it fits me perfectly. She was able to do this with just two fittings and has done an amazing job!!”

“The entire experience was outstanding, from the customer service to the finished product. I took in a leather jacket with a slight rip in the arm, the lady managed to hide the tear and make it look like the design was always there. A very professional service. I will be recommending you to everyone :).”

“No issues at all with the quality of work, which is excellent - however order was delayed by two weeks with no communications, which pulls my opinion down. Sick staff happens to all, but an email or text message to say the order would be significantly delayed would have managed expectations a lot better.”

“Barbara is fantastic, she has such an eye for tailoring and has altered my wedding dress perfectly. It fits like a glove and she is just lovely! Would recommend 100% to anybody needing a tailor for even the most delicate of fabrics.”

“I took in on the monday my Mums vintage fully sequinned top for a new zip. Its a much treasure top and I wanted to wear it on the Friday to a party. They kept me informed by text at every stage....the top was ready on time and beautifully repaired. Excellent service......I shall use again. Thank You Zip Yard”
