“I was quoted £60 by the lady who measured the alterations and charged £65 at the counter, I had a “Zipyard” fully stamped loyalty card but was given no additional discount at the desk as it had expired (I’m sure a small discount could have been applied considering the cost to have work done) and when a family member brought the altered clothes back my trouser hanger had been replaced by a cheap wire hanger! Not too pleased if I were honest.”

“No issues at all with the quality of work, which is excellent - however order was delayed by two weeks with no communications, which pulls my opinion down. Sick staff happens to all, but an email or text message to say the order would be significantly delayed would have managed expectations a lot better.”

“Service is good. However shop closes early- 5.30pm which is not convenient when you want to pick up your garment after work and there is no parking available.”

“I visited 2 years ago, so don't remember much. The work I asked for was done. I keep getting emails. Hopefully by responding this time you will stop.”

“I had a navy skirt taken in at the sides. However you did NOT take in the lining as well, although I had paid £20 for this to be done. I did not realise this until I got home last Friday. Very disappointed - won't be using you again.”

Hi Claire, We always aim for 100% customer satisfaction. If you have found something not quite right with the our work please come back in where we will be happy to fix it free of charge. We always recommend to our customers trying on the garments before they leave to make sure everything is fine.

Hi Kerry, thank you for your comments and I pleased to read you were very happy with the alteration work that was completed. As with all customers the work that is needed to be carried out on the clothing is assessed and based on complexity and time a price given for the work being completed in our very nice shop experience by our highly trained seamstresses. “Hi there, I'm sorry to say I am not happy with the alteration you did on a pair of jeans for me. I needed them taking up and they are a stretchy denim with a flare leg , unfortunately they curl up at the hem exposing the cut edge. I've spent ages trying to iron them flat but it's no good. Having said that I was really happy with the customer service, very friendly and quick.”

“The quality of the work was good, but i had to wait 2 months for a new zip to be ordered and my coat to be repaired, not happy with that, apparently it had to be hand made in china then shipped, it was only a two way zip for a coat.”

Hi Denise, thank you for your comments. We keep a wide range of zips on site however certain zips we don't range and need to be ordered. Apologies again the for inconvenience caused.
