The Dbn branch staff that takes customers calls are self focused, customer unfriendly and I have don't care attitude. When I ask question the answer is silence!!!. There is little communication between them, the operation and the poor driver that pitched up at my gate because the dbn branch did not inform him that I would not be home. In addition the content of my package was broken. I wish my supplier would change courrier company.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience with The Courier Guy. Not only was the wrong item delivered, but the attempts to rectify the situation were met with an appalling level of service from the Cape Town call center. I dealt with three different agents, all of whom were utterly incompetent: one hung up on me mid-call, others kept me on hold for over five minutes, and the one who did speak to me had muffled, unclear speech and a complete lack of interest in assisting. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable, especially in January at 11 a.m. There is no excuse for such incompetence. The company clearly needs better recruitment and training—there are countless vibrant, highly qualified young graduates in South Africa who would be capable, motivated, and eager to do this job properly. The Courier Guy’s current approach reflects poor standards, disregard for customers, and a complete failure to deliver even the most basic service. Immediate corrective action is required.

Good day, I wanted to lodge a complaint regarding the shipment I submitted to the kiosk at Horizon. On Wednesday, 17 December I submitted a parcel for delivery with reference: TCG44702342 I paid R110 for this shipment The following day I returned to submit a different shipment, wherein I was told by the ladies at reception that I needed to pay an extra R80 as the area I was delivering to was regarded as a high risk. I did not even oppose or argue, I paid the R80 shortfall because I wanted to maintain a good working relationship with the team as I use the service frequently. On the same day, the 18th of December, I received a text from my client who told me that she has receive a notification about the delivery of her book. A few hours later - around noon, she texted to notify me that the driver had said he will not be able to come due other delays/events. I apologized to my client and told them that they would probably receive the package the following day. On the 19th of December my client told me that she did not receive the package and that they had waited and waited - to no avail. Due to me travelling at the time I was unable to follow up on this matter, however on 23 December I got a message from TCG advising me to collect my package at the Horizon Kiosk, later I received a text from the team and I advised them that I was travelling and would come get the parcel after the holidays. I went to the Kiosk on Tuesday, 30 December - and the receptionist/cashier told me that I needed to pay in order to get my parcel back. To which I was in complete and utter shock... I was surprised about what exactly I am paying for? I have paid R190 for this delivery - which has clearly not been done and I must pay some more? Out of frustration I left and told them to keep the parcel. They kept on trying to contact the driver who was not answering his phone. The guy kept on saying that this driver had been ignoring their calls even though they could see he was online. The only note the driver wrote was that he could not get hold of my client. Nothing was documented about his earlier interaction and postponement. I believe that no effort was taken to get this package delivered. Luckily my client kept me informed throughout the process about what was happening. The driver failed to perform his duties I don't know why I am being penalized. Since no effort was made to also notify me when they could not get hold of the client, I request for refund for the delivery fee paid and my package back. My client was not contacted on the second day after the postponement, the driver needs to advise what happened. But I cannot be held liable for this.]

Quite pathetic. Im surprised they have two stars! They quoted on my parcel which I sent and paid extra for overnight. Four days later the parcel was still sitting at their hub. Apparently they under quoted and I had to pay in. No contact what so ever took place. They are really a pathetic institution who are trying to be totally online but are clearly not geared for it.

These guys incorrectly scanned a shipment (a Christmas gift for my two boys), resulting in the package being sent from George to Johannesburg instead of to Herm****. The expected delivery date was 23 December, but I have now been told it will be between 29 and 31 December. No apologies offered or attempt to rectify their error, just tough luck for their poorly serviced customer. Will definitely never use this company again!

We are regular customers of Courier Guy in Virginia, sending parcels very frequently, also making use of their Pudo locker in Hennenman on a weekly basis. We order from our supplier weekly and now, because the Courier guy driver was inexperienced and did not register the parcel correctly, we have to pay an additional R725.00 extra for a parcel not even 200km,s away!! I could have driven there and picked up the parcel myself for less! This makes my order a complete loss and completely late and resulted in a lot of my customers being extremely upset! So much for customer service!! And then I had to deal with a very rude Courier Guy Manager, even though the front of house personnel are very helpful. I am very disappointed and considering taking my business elsewhere. Save yourself a lot of trouble and use someone else

WE PAID A WHOPPING R700 TO HAVE A TINY PARCEL DELIVERED OVERNIGHT. CT-JHB. IT WAS SO IMPORTANT, THAT WHEN THE DELIVERY GUY DID NOT ARRIVE BEFORE OUR CLOSING TIME, WE DROVE TO THE AIRPORT TO PERSONALLY HAND IT IN AT THE KIOSK SO THAT IT COULD GET ON A PLANE. ONLY TO GET A CALL THE FOLLOWING DAY, A SATURDAY, TO BE TOLD THAT THE PARCEL WAS PLACED ON A TRUCK GOING ECO TO ITS DESTINATION, AND WOULD ARRIVED DURING THE FOLLOWING WEEK. !!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE DELIVERY . WHEN WE ASKED THEMANAGER TO CALL THE CLIENT AND EXPLAIN - HE SAID ITS NOT HIS DUTY TO DO SO, ALL HE NEEDS TO DO IS PASS A CREDIT ON OUR ACCOUNT, WE NEED TO CALL THE CUSTOMER AND EXPLAIN THEIR INCOMPETANCE. SUPER UNIMPRESSED!@ :( ZERO STARS ARE TOO MANY.

My husband sent his stuff back from his deployment and one of the workers went through his sealed bags and stole a few items..ive never felt more violated in my life..the courier guy should be ashamed..I don't how they still in business,I wish we looked at the reviews before we used them

Complaint : 10436716 Parcel was not in Pudo locker upon collection. Phoned Mosselbay branch, promise was given to send driver to collect and deliver to street address immediately. By 16h00 still no confirmation that the parcel was collected. NO answer at their office phone. Support email was sent out with enquiry. AGAIN promise to deliver by 16h00 TODAY. It is now 17h10 and still no parcel delivered or confirmation that they do have collected the parcel from Pudo locker. This service is unacceptable and poor. It doesn't help your staff is friendly over the phone (when you can get hold of them), promises are made, but NO further communication or kept of promises. It is now then end of day 4! Friday to Monday afternoon.

The Driver Mifika that does the Winchester Pudo is such a hero. Im often late with drop offs sometimes after 4pm but he has never failed to wait for me. I cant lie its service like this that will make me never use another courier. He even mentioned that I can call if im going to be late to make sure I can deliver to my clients on time. His Friendly polite and respectful. He goes the extra mile. The Courier Guy brand should recognise employees that go above and beyond. Thank you Mifika

I loved the courier guy pudo lockers but this time I am very disappointed with the service of Hoedspruit office. I reported an issue with a locker sent back and forth email and it took them my frustrations and shouting over calls for them to fix my issues for about two weeks now. I’m highly disappointed

Had a package to collect . 22days past no answer from them didn't bother to call and let me know what is going on. When i enquired they said collect was cancelled. No reason given and proof to say they went to pick up . The person they where supposed to see called and said they never came.

Scam, I got changed 3 times the amount of the online quotation only when the parcels are on their hands. No options available to either return the parcels. I will never use this service again.

Disgusted and disappointed in the courier guy really I’ve worked for a courier company and if a client ask for a next day overnight it should get delivered by tomorrow. Spoken to PE branch Kim and Cindy who promised to deliver the package yet no phone answer really poor poor service

I have always received excellent service at Courier Guy Bedfordview, but today was better than excellent. I arrived at the branch with 3 x XL boxes and was told I picked locker instead of kiosk on my app. Kobus did not hesitate to assist me, first he helped offload these heavy boxes, then realized I need to drop off at a locker. He then reloaded back in KY car and because I had no idea where the lockers are, he drove with me to the Sasol garage bear by. Again he offloaded my heavy XL boxes and showed me how to do the locker system. All this with a friendly smile. I was so apologetic and he continued to say "no problem". He is an exceptional person and an asset to your business. Thank you so much Kobus and Courier Guy.
