“I really like Nerivio and I feel like it’s been great to have another alternative treatment for my chronic migraines. I like that it’s something I can use in addition to taking medication if needed, or just using it on it’s own. I’ve had a positive experience using it thus far and hopefully continue to do so. I do feel that it has helped. The only negatives so far have been that the cost of Nerivio is extremely expensive, so I really use it a lot less than I need/would prefer. I really wish it were more affordable so I could use it more frequently. Another negative is sometimes it’s hard to connect the device to the app. I would have my phone directly next to the device and turned on and it would take 30min of trying to connect. The other big negative is that the device itself creates so much waste! When I asked if my first device would just be refilled, they told me no and to just throw it out because I’d be sent a new one. So I really love Nerivio, but maybe a new device could be made that you could refill and not replace and dispose of every month? Possibly something recycle-able? If it’s more cost effective, maybe it could be accessible to more patients. I don’t know if connectivity issues can be improved on, so it should be made very clear in the directions to establish a connection before applying to your arm. Overall, Nerivio is great and I’d love to use it more, it’s just impossible to with it being $100 per device.”

“Would be helpful if the app with lunch on its own once the device is turned on. Would like a recycling program for the device. I am also very sensitive I need to use a lower device setting, around 20%. I often have to use it two days in a row and I’m curious if a longer duration at a lower level would be helpful. It would be nice if there were setting options for this.”

“A couple weeks ago: So far, I am 4 for 4 with Nerivio! I have not used any Amerge or other meds and the Nerivio has ended all four of my headaches since I received it in the mail. I do, however, use the monthly injection of Emgality which has prevented some migraines but not all. Today: On vaca in Palm desert CA and the sun and heat have caused an all day migraine. Nerivio helped earlier in the day along with an Amerge. Now it’s back pretty bad and I’m using Nerivio again, I’m hoping it helps. It does do great with the main Oder headaches however.”

“Nerivio seems to work for my milder migraines, if I do the treatment at the slightest first sign of a migraine. I’ve had a few instances, though, where the Nerivio doesn’t relieve the migraine, and because I wait a few hours after the Nerivio treatment hoping that it will work I then am “too far in” to the migraine for other treatments to work (e.g.rescue medication). I do really like the breathing and relaxation technique that goes along with the Nerivio treatment.”

“The app is frustrating sometimes. I’ve had to delete & re load it from time to time. It refuses to connect or find a device. But as a medical device, it works incredibly well. It helps my headaches probably 80% of the time.”

“Nerivio offers a way to make my migraines more manageable for when my prescription Motrin can’t. Other options just weren’t doing anything for me and then Nerivio came along and at first I was skeptical but it worked great and still does. It is a little expensive even with insurance but the relief is sometimes worth it... there are occasions when it doesn’t work or does barely anything but it’s only a 1/5 thing.”
