“Worth a try. Easy to use once set up. Only used 4 times and had to use rescue medication as well. Need to use a longer period if time to evaluate properly. I’m thinking of putting the device higher up in my arm where it is closer to the head ache point at the base if my skull. I’ll try that technique on the next use.,”

Thank you for letting us know about your experience with Nerivio. Place the device on your upper arm so that the electrodes are in contact with your skin and the LED indicator is facing outwards. *The device should be located midway between the elbow and the shoulder. Here is an explanation of our mechanism of action for your reference: Nerivio® is a remote electrical neurostimulator (REN) which works by applying an electrical signal to sensory nerves in the arm to activate one of your body’s natural pain regulation mechanisms called Conditioned Pain Modulation (CPM). The peripheral activation of Aδ and C fibers in the arm sends a signal to pain control centers in the lower brain to release pain inhibiting molecules that inhibit migraine pain signals. The electrical parameters of the Nerivio device are specifically designed to activate sensory fibers. TENS devices have different electrical parameters that activate touch fibers. Because of the difference in electrical parameters, the two devices have different mechanisms of action and are not interchangeable. “Nerivio has given me a extra tool to fight my migraines. Often when I catch it soon enough it will stop a migraine from manifesting. Even when the migraine takes hold, with the use of OTC meds and Nurivio it usually will knock it down to a tolerable level that allows me to function.”

Thank you for sharing your experience! If your migraine headache is not aborted 30 minutes following treatment, you may administer additional treatments. There is no restriction on how often the device can be used though we have no data on daily or long-term use. Please consult your healthcare provider to discuss long-term use. “The Nerivio is great to use with no side effects. I can feel when it starts relieving the migraine and/or the auras. This is amazing when the treatment is finished, the relief with less “ migraines or aura lingering”. The above review was when I first started using the medical devise, Nerivio. Now a year later, June of 2022, it is still amazing. I started having more auras every day and night, but seldom the migraine. So once when I was finished with the Nerivio treatment, I did the post treatment, Nerivio has available for you. So I selected no headache and it led me to all the auras I didn’t know about. One of the new auras was blue lines on eveything I looked at. A few office visits ago, my neurologist told me some people were prescribed the migraine meds to take on a daily basis to prevent the auras or migraines. I remembered he told me when he first introduced me to this Nerivio, he said this will be worth your while to try. You can wear it all the time if you want. So when the auras were most all the time, I started wearing the Nerivio all day. I work from home, so that was convenient, but I even wore it to church. When an aura would first start, I’d turn on the Nerivio on my arm, start the App on my phone and then LOCKED my phone (so no mishaps). It worked! I told my doctor the next visit and he was pleased with the progress. There are so many different auras you can have and not realize it’s related to the migraine. So then what? We are wondering what’s going on now? After 30 minutes if I still have just a bit of aura, I take a migraine pill. So far I don’t have a lot of migraines and the auras float away. It has cut down on my migraine meds, which is good because they are expensive when your insurance won’t pay for them or pay very little. The Nerivio is a prescription also. This is so much more. The scientific video, from the Nerivio app is pretty amazing. The app has a calming voice of meditation to help walk you through the migraines. And what a wonderful way to get through the day.”
