“The Nerivio Device after a few sessions seems to have no effect in reducing my migraines. I'll keep trying, but I am not optimistic.”

If Nerivio was prescribed for prevention, please note that consistent use is key. It’s important to treat every other day for at least 1–2 months to start feeling the full preventive effect—just like with any preventive treatment, results take time and regular use. If you’re using Nerivio for acute treatment, make sure to start the session as soon as migraine symptoms begin. It can take up to 4–5 uses to become familiar with the device, personalize the intensity level, and effectively incorporate it into your migraine routine. “Ich bräuchte einen längeren Beobachtungszeitraum um bessere Aussagen machen zu können. Der Kalender ist viel zu komplex und es dauert zu lange ihn auszufüllen. Es kann tatsächlich sein, dass ich nach einer Nerivio Anwendung weniger Medikamente brauche um eine Besserung zu erreichen.”

Nerivio is indicated for acute and/or preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura in patients 8 years of age or older. It is a prescription-use, self-administered device for use in the home environment at the onset of migraine headache or aura for acute treatment, or every other day for preventive treatment. “I believe it helps, especially when Im having a migraine in the present moment. In terms of preventative I think, in addition to my herbal supplement, it definitely lessens my overall headache days.”

“It helps lower the frequency, intensity and length of the migraines. It doesn’t cure migraines or do anything about triggers, but I wasn’t expecting that.”

“The Nerivio unit has been a game changer for me when it comes to my migraines. I hate taking pharmaceuticals so, before, I would just shut down in a dark quiet room. Now I use my Nerivio as preventative treatments as well as during an attack. It weakens the severity and duration of the migraines.”
