“It works for headaches and dizziness some of the time. I like using it first before I take medication as it can reduce symptoms sometimes enough so that I don’t need medication. Do wish insurance covered it.”

“For the most part, Nerivio gives temporary relief but rarely aborts the attack like medication. If I catch the headache very early, the relief will last for 24 hours. It is hard to catch the attack early because I have daily, chronic migraine. I think Nerivio is a good tool to have in the migraine toolbox but in my particular case, is a conjunctive therapy. 3.5 stars for me but you should definitely I give it a try.”

“It is a pain trying to get set up. After going through all the steps multiple times, it still failed to connect. This will not be feasible at work.”

We would like to help you with your concern. Please give us a call at Nerivio Cares at (937)‐637‐4846 Monday‐Friday 8am‐8pm EST. In the meantime, here are some steps you can try to resolve the connectivity issue. Please do not skip any steps. 1. Turn your phone off, turn your phone back on. 2. Turn Bluetooth off and back on again in the settings menu.  Do not try to pair the device from the Bluetooth menu. 3. Open the Nerivio App on your phone. 4. Turn on the device by pushing the power button (green light will flash). 5. Place the device next to the phone on a table. (If the device is on your arm please remove when connecting.) 6. Select connect device.  You will see a spinning wheel and will be asked to pair the device. 7. If the new device does not connect go to the More menu at the bottom of the Nerivio App, select Nerivio® device and then select Connect a new Nerivio device. 8. Follow prompts for connecting.

“There are certain kinds of migraines Nerivio works best for with me and I love that I can put it on and still be somewhat functional. I also like that I can use it in conjunction with my other migraine treatments to help with those migraines that are hard hitters to help reduce the pain and improve my recovery time.”

“So far so good. I’ve been able to stop migraines w/o medication 2/3 times. The 3rd might not have needed meds (NSAID) but it was taken as post op for knee surgery.”

“I think it takes away some of the pressure for a while . I do wish the strap was made better and would close easier when putting bin yourself . The material is uncomfortable. They need to have choices of meditation.”

Thank you for the feedback. This is what we recommend to users for the most effective treatment: 3 Pillars for effective treatment 1. Start treatment early. • For effective results, you should start the treatment as soon as you feel the first symptoms of the migraine attack and within 60 minutes of the migraine symptoms onset (headache and/or aura). 2. Setting Intensity at the start of each treatment • Use the + to increase the intensity until it feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. • We recommend that the intensity level not be changed during the treatment. 3. Treatment Time • For effective results, complete the full 45-minute treatment. Setting Intensity Since each migraine attack is different, there is no one right setting. The intensity should be strong, but never painful, and should be set within the first few minutes of treatment.    The + and – buttons on your phone screen allow you to set the level, and just after you start a treatment, you can repeatedly press the “plus” button to increase intensity until the sensation feels strong but not uncomfortable.  During clinical trials, the most effective treatment was obtained with intensities over 20% and with averages between 25 and 35%. If you do not get to 20%, however, do not worry, as long as it feels strong. Although the intensity may feel as if it gets weaker during treatment; this is normal and is just your body adjusting to the sensation; there is no need to increase the intensity further.
