I rarely write reviews, but I had to leave one for David and Nicholas at Sutton Tkmaxx store in Surrey. Their customer service was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, they were patient, attentive, and made sure I understood everything without ever feeling rushed. They went above and beyond to resolve my issue and answered every single question with a calm and friendly attitude. It’s so refreshing to be helped by someone who genuinely cares. Thank you, David and Nicholas, you turned my experience around completely.

I’ve loved shopping here for years, but the last 12 months have revealed a serious decline in quality and accountability. It has become clear that many items are discounted not just because they are "last season," but because they are defective, mislabeled, or rejected stock. The Recent Hall of Shame: • Safety Hazards: Bought a dog toy that the squeaker came out, when picking up poop, I saw it and then checked the toy, it was missing! • Poor Manufacturing: My wife used a night cream for two months before realizing the "glitter" on her face was actually the chrome plating flaking off the pump cap. The manufacturer confirmed this batch should never have been on sale. • Mislabeled Sizing: Recently bought a 2XL shirt that wouldn't even fit someone who wears a Large. It’s effectively a Medium with the wrong tag. • Non-Functional "Quality": A heavy-duty, expensive-feeling can opener that—ironically—cannot actually open a can, this is the biggest issue, because I have these in several stores! The Customer Service Loop: The "help" is non-existent. In-store a member of staff admitted that defective items are a constant issue but rely on the fact that most customers won't bother returning them. If you do try to contact customer service, they just send you back to the store. A word of advice to fellow shoppers: 1. Check everything twice: Assume the label is wrong or the item is flawed. 2. Keep EVERY receipt: Their systems make it nearly impossible to track which item belongs to which receipt, and they will not help you without one. I’m tired of being the "quality control" for a store that doesn't seem to care what they put on their shelves. I will be back, but I just wished they would sort stuff out, sad to see this is becoming company policy!

I would like to order items from the store, I will collect them so why I suppose to pay for collection??????????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!! I am the one who will spend money to get to you so how I can be charge for that. This is ridiculous!!! This is stealing !!! Please stop everyone to pay for something they shouldn’t charge us. This have to STOP 🛑 be smarter

My sister came in to bring a quilt back and the manager was called she did not explain why she couldn’t return the item and continued to be erupt and speak to her disrespectfully my sister suffers from ptsd and other mental conditions and did not need to be spoken to by tk Maxx manager in such a way as she then carried on distressing her and made her get upset she also got the cctv why when she had a receipt i dont know? However my sister felt intimidated and distressed and the manger escorted her out with the security how rude when she didn’t explain why? She had no empathy or consideration as my sister told her she suffers from conditions and she was not bothered in the slightest i always shop here my self and if i do come across this manager she will be told straight by me how rude she is awful experience for my sister!

On December 15, 2025 at approximately 6:15 pm a tall Security guard Larry ( no ID displayed) at the t x max store on East 15 street in Brooklyn, NY but with a body camera and possibly Armed suddenly approached a customer inside the store from behind near cosmetic section and started swinging his hands toward customer. Exhibiting aggressive behavior and yelling while the customer was peacefully shopping. This sort of behavior was very scary To the customer and unusual as security did not attacked other customers but picked and targeted a person who was much smaller comparing to security and who was just shopping and looking at the products and used a t j max shopping card. Customer got scared of aggressive behavior toward her and immediately put the sealed unused cream product back to the shelf. Security Larry continued screaming at the customer, he exhibited hostile and aggressive behavior toward the customer that made a customer concerned about her safety. Other customers were around observing the atackn of the security aLarry on the customer with intent to intimidate and cause fear. The customer asked to stop harassment. But Secirity Larry continued screaming and yelling while making aggressive gestures with his hands toward the customer. He started also abusing the customer verbally and claimed that he does not attack those perp who steal at T j max and he usually don’t attack criminals but calls police officer who works in the store off duty to make some extra money but who was armed to arrest . Security attempted to attack the customer who asked to stop harassment. Customer got very scared and immoderately put the cream product back to the shelf at yr same condition as it was without any damage. “Larry” security without id but with the body camera was verbally abusing and threatening customer. Customers met attempted to look for a police officer for assistance. Manager female same in when she heard security screaming at the customer. Manager ID was covered. Customer asked to show ID and provide name. Manager show ID that stated Beatrice and started yelling at the customer verbally and also make aggressive gestures toward the customer with her left hand that made customer concerned for her safety and customer moved back to protect her self. Manager got very angrier after customer asked manager to stop harassment and show her ID. Manager Beatrice had other employees during the customer and called police officer who had his name on his uniform and was armed and had a body camera but stated that he works off duty in the sire and just trying t make some extra money. Manager Beatrice started in front of other employees and customers falsely accusing the customer that she opened a bottle and refused to close it after security Larry approached the customer. Manager screamed that store is not allowed to sell upended cosmetics but the box was placed by customer back to the shelf unopened. Manager put her hands in her pockets and requested police officer armed NYPD off duty to turn the camera on and started falsely accusing a customer with touching the manager that not true and trying to product and so on was not true also. Another male manager searched customer personal bag and confirmed that customer had only her personal belongings inside her person’s bag. Manager Beatrice started in front of other customer and employees going into customer personal belongings and t j max shopping card and requested the customer to leave the store after checking customers persons bag, and T j max shopping cart and customer container with the food that confirmed that a customer did not do anything wrong. Manager Beatrice and another manager together with security officer falsely in front of other accused customer, intimidated and harassed customer and requested customer to leave the store. Beatrice as per the badge, started a new false accusation claiming that customer opened the cosmetic box after security Larry told her not to open it that was not true. Manager Beatrice started screaming at the customer that no video or photos are not allowed and if customer will use her own cell phone to take video she would request the customer cell phone to be taken away and customer to be arrested for taking photos but police office objected but confirmed that no video recording are allowed in the store and that only police office duty, security and store are allowed to take photos and videos. Other staff and managers were involved. The same . Police officer who claimed to be off duty but with arm and his ID and uniform, said that he was not sure but he thinks that the name of security was Larry, no Last name provided. Police officer off duty said that complaint could be placed by a customer against the manager and security office with T j max the store because the managers attacked, harassed , exhibited hostile and aggressive behavior, falsely accused the customer, checked customer personal bag without permission and retaliated against the customer in collaboration with security officer once the customer requested to stop targeting , harassing and discriminating against her. Other manager of the store did not provide his name but came closer and was checking the shopping card and customers personal belongings and personal Bag after that released the customer. Customer left the store and police officer off duty recommended to the customer to complain about store manager Beatrice and security Larry inappropriate behavior and discrimination toward a customer. Police officer Heenpella SRG said that he is off duty but just needs to follow directives of the store manager and security officer as he works in the store. Police office did not provide his pricinct number or badge number but recommended to file a complaint about store security and store managers inappropriate behavior especially that video recording in the store and body camera of security and police officer . After Secirity officer Larry exhibited hostile annd aggressive behavior, made false accusations, attacked and harassed customer he left inside the store and was near the exit door of the t j max store after he exhibited hostile, aggressive, accusatory and threatening behavior toward the customer. Police officer claimed that security Larry has a video camera on his body that videotaped the accident when the customer just came in to shop in the store peacefully but got suddenly attacked from behind by the security officer , falsely accused and harassed in a store by security larry and manager Beatrice and other male manager who did not provide his name checked with out permission customers personal belongings and searched her personal bag. Manager claimed that customer is not allow the customer to buy items that she selected and digged in customers Persian belongings and shopping card the items that customer selected to purchase. An armed police officer SRG Heenpella in police uniform advised to file a complaint about security officer and managers staff about harassment against customer and illegal search and threats toward the customer that occurred on Monday December 15 2025 at about 6:15-6:30 pm. I bought a purchase. Only I receive a confirmation of receive order. I checked in my account how was the process and I saw that the address was wrong. So I called to costumer service and they say they cannot do nothing. I have to wait to the email of the carrier to change the delivery option or redirect to local post. This happened on Tuesday and the delivery will be on thursday. There is not option before they send the purchase to amend the delivery address

I’m absolutely furious, my situation is similar to another one on this thread. I shop regularly at TK Maxx both in store and online. I ordered earrings £299.99 but the pack was delivered empty. I contacted TK Maxx customer service and showed them proof that the package had been tampered with as part of the label inside but they have refused to refund me!!!! I honestly don’t know how I’m expected to pay for something I didn’t receive!!!! Worst experience ever

I like make a Serious complaint to TK max In Truro. There’s only 2 people on the till and very slow at services. But really good clothes but not than good for Value I think Tk max is cheap shop I think for now on there should more people on the Till when it comes to summer lot of people likes to shop at Tk max but are really friendly and kind. from Victoria

My mother sent me into the limerick branch to dropback a top that did not fit . It was 2 days out of the return date on the receipt. She had rung them earlier in the week as she was not able to get over to drop back earlier shes 85! and was told she would not get a refund but a credit note ,fine.. Upon taking it to the counter and dealing with a girl at the till the cashier beside butted in quite aggressively and said it was out of date and that's it.i was not even dealing with her. I explained what my mother was told and the German sounding woman stalked off to get a manager. A short blond older women rocked up obviously eager to show her claws she said repeatedly that she was the manager I explained the case and she said its not on the system any more. I pointed out it was still tagged and all of 22.99 but to no avail even when I told her as a family we spend a fortune in there I have teenage girls!! Still all i was met with was I'm the manager and not a budge, I'll talk to my team and correct them as your mother should not of been given that information. I said how poorly I felt I was being treated and that that was the end of being a long standing customer I was told fine and good luck.. Over something so small it was shocking treatment I was approached outside by another customer who was at the counter and they expressed there discust at what they'd witnessed. My daughters where upset as they where seeing from a distance what was going on one of them heard the teller approach the manager and describe me as a pain!! Not good at all.... I am furious at this shop, I shop regulary in-store and online, but on this occasion am very upset, I have ordered 1 bracelet for myself and my mum loved it so much that I placed another order with a pair of earrings, when I opened my package 2 boxes but the bracelet box was empty which means no bracelet! When I contacted customer service they were not able to help me!!! And that it was sent to me but cant proove me that bracelet was inside the box!! I lost £80 very very angry!!!

I lost an earring in the changing room at the store in Hanley stoke on Trent. I rang the store and the next day when I rang again was really pleased that it had been found by 2 of their staff. One was a gentleman the other a lady whose name au think was Ness. A Big Thank You

bought a homes and gardens candle as i often pick a candle up when i pop in to use or keep for gifts. Candle burned black smoke and ruined my downstairs toilet, £200 for painting and that wasn’t all the specialised cleaning products for grout and tiles, you would have thought it was fire damage.Customer service did nothing as i had obviously paid cash and didn’t have receipt as i had bought it 8/10 weeks before using it. Thankfully i didn’t gift it! Customer service were shown candle photos of damage ect .Needless to say i won’t shop there again nor my family

Stood on a clothing tag loose on the floor in the Millers Junction store and it popped my shoe (nike air max). The manager was quite rude and reluctantly took my information. This was 3 months ago, i have tried to get in touch and have my issue resolved. They will email me once when i threaten to take them to the ombudsman and then stop responding. Absolutely disgusting treatment and I imagine if I broke something in their store I would have to pay for it, but not the other way around. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
