The vehicle was just fine - a brand new VW with enough room for 5. Thank you for that! I would have given a 5 star review except: 1. I had to call customer service in the middle of the night and got no response for over 2 hours. I had a flat tire in the middle of the night in a town where the company allegedly has an office (Balchik) and I needed assistance because the car didn't have a spare. My phone is a US cell phone and I spent almost half an hour (about $18 in roaming and international charges) waiting for someone to answer my call. Eventually I borrowed a local cell phone and spoke to a lady who explained that she was the only one in charge of responding to customer calls despite the fact that the company operates over 2000 vehicles (!@$^#%$#@)!!! It would not have been any different if I had purchased the full coverage insurance: there was just one employee answering many, many calls. In the end I lost a full day of my vacation dealing with car repairs and tires. To the company: deploy a call center software that rolls calls to standby service reps. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. 2. Finally, the guy who checked the car at the airport asked for 6 lv ($4) to "help me" because I did not use a special keycard to enter the rental car return parking... that was when my plane was about to start boarding... To the company: figure out your receiving process. I am not familiar with your arrangements with the airport authorities and I shouldn't be. And a guy at the vehicle drop off cannot hold me hostage, especially if nobody told me anything about any special rules.

Run away from this company !!!! It might look cheaper than other companies but believe me they will find the way to make you pay more for your renting. Horrible service, I purchased full protection for ten days. When the car mirror was damaged, they insisted that I needed to go to the police station and report the damage, I wasted hours at the police station but in the end, the officer said that only the car owner can file a complaint. In addition, Top Rent a car asked me to pay insurance again for the same period I already paid. Last but not least, when I returned the car, the guy at the desk told me that I needed to pay an additional payment for the broken mirror cover, the same damage that was covered by the insurance. I travel a lot and rent cars worldwide.this is the worst service I have ever received.

As I can see from the previous comments this is what the guys do: If you don't have a credit card but just a debit card that more than half of the people these days do then you may not get the car or refund + terrible customer service. Rude and offensive. Buuh, like the worst that I have ever seen since I last visited Russia in the mid-90s. Terrible experience. Whoever was working there on 17th June. I hope you guys get at least someone who is not that rude after you have been left without the car and money already. Total rip-off. Get Avis or some other rental just next to them next time. Pay €20 more and get your car immediatelly.
