“I returned the car in the same condition I received it. When I picked it up, I inspected it from the outside but did not bend under it. When I returned it, the employee went to the front bumper, bent down under the license plate and said that he saw scratches and that I had been in an accident. Even though it was not caused by me, and even though I had the highest level of insurance, they told me that the deposit would be retained.
Apparently, the company makes extra money by attributing old damage several times to subsequent customers.
Recommendation - do not rent cars from these unless you feel like getting under the car when you receive it, inspect it for old damage when you receive it so that they do not hold you responsible for it when you return the car”
“I got TOP PROTECTION – Additional Cover Charge and for some minor scratches on two of the rims, I got charged EUR 200 per rim plus 30 admin fees, a total of EUR 430 (which is above the maximum amount with TOP PROTECTION)! Pure scam.”

Horrible service, I purchased full protection for ten days. When the car mirror was damaged, they insisted that I needed to go to the police station and report the damage, I wasted hours at the police station but in the end, the officer said that only the car owner can file a complaint.
In addition, Top Rent a car asked me to pay insurance again for the same period I already paid. Last but not least, when I returned the car, the guy at the desk told me that I needed to pay an additional payment for the broken mirror cover, the same damage that was covered by the insurance. I travel a lot and rent cars worldwide.this is the worst service I have ever received.”
“As I can see from the previous comments this is what the guys do:
If you don't have a credit card but just a debit card that more than half of the people these days do then you may not get the car or refund + terrible customer service. Rude and offensive. Buuh, like the worst that I have ever seen since I last visited Russia in the mid-90s. Terrible experience. Whoever was working there on 17th June. I hope you guys get at least someone who is not that rude after you have been left without the car and money already. Total rip-off. Get Avis or some other rental just next to them next time. Pay €20 more and get your car immediatelly.”
