I purchased a standard towbar for my 2024 Mitsubishi ASX. The towbar was difficult to fit as the slots in the side plates fouled the cross member flange joints needing to be cut back, the bolt holes while being oversize, are tight to fit bolts. One hole had to be elongated to get the bolt in. The right angle brackets that attach to the lower bumper bar are at least 10mm out of alignment requiring new holes to be drilled. The jig to manufacture this towbar needs to be reset.

Since it has not yet arrived it is impossible to understand such a comedy of error. Absolute incompetence from online payment, order mix up at dispatch and still no delivery.

Turned up promptly, but is poorly made , not welded together straight, hence towball does not sit centred on vehicle

Considering that it did not fit my car as the mounting holes where off with like 5mm I am absolutely not happy. A half an hour job turned into a painstakingly long effort to fit the towbar.

I bought a 4.5t towbar for an f250 it arived hacked and scratched up (not due to transport as the scratches were under the intact packaging )i tryed to contact them but no reply Never again

Gents, Not only was the towbar packed poorly and the tong was missing on delivery, as it smashed its way out of the box it made several scratches and dints on the new bar on its way out. Secondly actual towbar you made did not fit the car, it made contact with the fuel tank guard and could not be bolted to the chassis. Apparently "quote" this is a common problem when ordering online. Given it happened two days before Xmas I was forced to pay another contractor to make the necessary adjustments for correct fitment and use. A 50% refund needs to be paid to compensate the out of pocket extra expence, I have already provided photos. John 0412300545

Don’t buy, the wiring harness is garbage and the bar isn’t far off that. Emailed towbars Australia no reply!

We do apologise for the inconvenience. I know we have now been intouch and have been able to rectify the problem with the wrong wiring that was sent. Once again we apologise for the mistake.

Hi John, Sorry to hear that you may have the wrong part. I tried calling this morning but missed you. Please call back on 1300 869 227 and we can help rectify this for you. My guess is there was a Thai and Spanish built model in that era and you may have the wrong one and we can look at getting this changed for you. Many Thanks Towbars Australia

I have just looked at the tracking for the item. It was dispatched from our store on 7/11/23 and the tracking advice says it is due for delivery on the 23/11/23. I can see that the item is in the NT and has been since the 17/11/23. This is an extremely long time and we apologize for the delay. We will be sure to take on this infomation and use this for our future freight choices. We apologize again for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately the towbar for my 2003 Mazda 323 doesn't fit correctly. The mounting holes are 10 - 18mm out of alignment with the vehicle mounting points. I have just sent an email to TBA about this and am awaiting a reply.

Notified that I had ordered incorrectly. No problem. Bring back and correct one is a little dearer. Travel over 6hrs. Phone then to organise exchange.. . Very rudely informed that tough luck. Will not happen. Disgusting service from 2nd person.
