We booked a 3-day hotel in Venice and when we arrived were advised that the Pope would be coming and that getting out of St. Mark's Square was going to be impossible. We asked for the third night to be cancelled and the hotel referred us to Trip.com. We have spoken so many times to Trip.com but they won't reimburse us for the third night as we had to leave a day early and they won't even support the cancellation as requested. Frankly, this is the worse service that I've ever experienced. Their reps called me a zillion time just to say they are sorry but they were all useless in resolving the issue. Never again with Trip.com and I better stay away from booking on their site.

Hello Trip.com I am writing to follow up on my request to rebook an open ticket that I previously cancelled on March 8, 2024 (Ref No 30249802763). Over the past Four days, I have contacted customer service on several occasions. While I appreciate the initial assurance that my case was being expedited, I have unfortunately received emails stating that the change request has been cancelled. I am flexible with travel dates and would like to fly from London Gatwick Airport (LGW) to Hyderabad (HYD) between May 5th and May 7th, 2024, returning between June 5th and June 7th, 2024. I am particularly concerned about a previous attempt by a customer service representative to change my ticket for a route from London Gatwick to Doha, then Doha back to London Heathrow. This was not the desired route and caused additional confusion. I kindly request your urgent assistance in rebooking my open ticket for the desired travel dates and route mentioned above (LGW to HYD and return). I am available to provide any further information needed to facilitate this process. I trust that you will be able to resolve this matter promptly. In the absence of a positive response within 24Hours, I will be forced to report this issue to the relevant ombudsman. I also started to keep posted in Trustpilot as well and I will Continue to do until I get the response. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt resolution. Very irresponsible platform, they just ignore when you have problem with the hotel booking and left you in strand, never do any booking with them anymore.

Do not book a flight with this company, for the first time in my life I have seen such a terrible flight booking site. I booked a flight for my mother in law and one leg of the flight she is allowed 1 piece of luggage (15 kg) and the rest of the flight 2 pieces of luggage (23 kg each). Furthermore she needs to collect luggage and then check in again, so what these people have done is selling me a flight containing two different bookings. Be aware and do not try this site for your travel.

We book a car show up to get it and they would not give me a car I was told to call trip to get a refund but trip tell me I can’t have it because the time off Cancellation or a refund was Pastime I need to call 1 hrs before that time I pick up the car . But I want the car but there was no car there for me so I had to Book one with an Another companies. Bad keep away . And you can see there is a lot off bad reviews about them. Did not get my money back

For a trip.com and Hilton. Went to my room to this hotel in Port st Lucie, the person next door had the TV very loud at 1:00am and I could not sleep. went downstair attendant called the room, went back up still loud for 15 minutes so I asked for another room, none available so I said sorry I cannot sleep here, rembourse my 2 nights. But no, I reserved with a third party…. third party don’t want to do anything, TRU by Hilton, don’t care so never Hilton again and never trip.com or any third party again. Really you cannot sleep because of a very loud neighbor and they say we don’t care. they prefer lose their name over $200 that’s ok but by me not going to their hotel (Hilton) for the next 20 years they are losing a lot more. and trip.com for maybe what $30 will lose a lot more than that too.

Agree with everyone 100%. They are scammers. I had my airfares cancelled in Feb 2024 due to Co-Vid and they still haven't given me my refund. That is despite the airline contacting via emails which I have and telling them what to do. Don't book anything with this company. The only good reviews they have are created by AI.

I purchased a ticket from trip.com through emirates and I had a connection flight to Dubai but they didn’t board me. They said the gate was closed even though I was still waiting for my items. so I contacted trip.com and was advised to purchase these tickets. They said that they’re going to refund me since it’s their fault ! And then they never refunded me after purchasing the tickets. Which I was advised by their agents to do so After spending the 400$ for the tickets. They then proceeded to want to charge me another 163$ for my luggage So I contacted trip.com again and they said pay it we’ll refund you. Never did All conversations were recorded they just lied to me I never purchase a ticket from trip.com

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH TRIP.COM!!!!!! They massively messed us up with flights in Mexico. They booked us a connecting flight with 30mins in between. We were told at the airport that we needed to collect baggage and re check in which is impossible. When you book a flight, they should factor in if this is even possible to get to your next flight. Greedy, money hungry company who do not give a care about their customers. DO NOT USE THEM!

A very rigid and completely not compassionate extremely not professional attitude for special situation! I clicked on a fly by mistake because was near to my fly, I've payed and after I received the itinerary and I saw the mistake I called to explain the situation and request to change the payment to the right fly but they refused saying that the policy say if you buy you cannot receive the refund or change the fly. I explained that was a mistake because I didn't saw the difference between the both flights but still didn't accept any explanation. Then I had to pay another ticket for the right fly....I am extremely disappointed by Trip.com inflexibility and lack of understanding in special situations. I consider this a abuse and unprofessional attitude!

I have purchased transfer flights to Italy for years and never and ever had a bad experience till now. I purchased a flight to Milan Malpensa from Gatwick to transfer to Lamezia from Trip.com, only to learn the transfer flight was actually from Milan Linate, nearly a 100 kilometres away, I had to pay €124 taxi to Linate airport which took an hour because of Trip.coms incompetence. To add insult to injury, Trip.com, after complaining, said they couldn't find any errors on their part and offered me a insulting €24 trip coins as a gesture of good will. I am absolutely disgusted and will never use them again but will not let this go. Shame on you Trip.com.

This booking service will find any possible way to give you a flight that does not take you where you want to do, just to scrape cheap business from you for what looks like cheaper itinerary flights. We tried to book a flight to LAX. We chose Los Angeles as our destination. Of course this scheming business would send us to Ontario, 2 hours drive from where literally ANY other flight goes into Los Angeles. On top of that, they have absolutely no way of refunding a flight within 24 hours of having booked it, so we just lost 1750 USD to this thieving business. I tried to request a refund within 24 hours and we were stuck waiting for their response. I disputed the charge from my credit card company and of course, since trip.com is a 3rd party, there was nothing that my bank could do about it. Do not use this company. They need to simply fail and let other legitimate business take over their space.

This company is a scam! They tried to get my personal banking information from me to issue me a refund. And when I refused they just kept pushing for it. I asked them to put the refund onto my credit card since they already had that number but they insisted on taking my banking information. I do not recommend using this site. Scan artists!

After reversing a refund from my account these guys ruined my credit score, prevented me from being able to buy my epilepsy medication putting me at risk of having a seizure. I was unable to pay bills, rent or buy food and petrol after they reversed a refund from my account with NO notice leaving me to be negative $1800 all while I was recovering from shingles and in-between jobs. They are STILL refusing to refund me. I cancelled my flight seconds after booking and well within the specified time frame as stated on your website, when I received no notification of my refund or confirmation for the booking even though you had taken the money from my account I contacted your team via phone and was told that the refund has been confirmed and processed. After a couple weeks and no refund or email to confirm the refund was indeed processed I contacted your team again to which they informed me that the refund was processed but my bank put an authorization hold on the payment. I contacted my bank and it turns out that the claims your company made are false and not even possible. When I called you again, your team again said they sent the money and it's the bank who are holding it. At this point you had no issues in refunding the money but it seems you were lying to me that the refund had been processed. After receiving nothing from you my bank opened an investigation and within weeks I finally received the refund. BUT a month later you reversed the refund from my account without giving me any heads up or reason for your decision. My bank investigated again and within 24 hours I had the money back only for your company to again reverse the refund 2 weeks later and sending my bank FALSE information using a whole new booking number and itinerary that I have never seen. The booking number was completely different to what both trip.com and I were using for the past 4 months. Trip.com have now come back to me stating that they can't actually locate my booking or transaction in their system. So how is it that you have submitted this 'evidence' to my bank and took a large sum of money all while not being able to locate my booking?? After all these months how does my booking all the sudden 'disappear'? I bought a second lot of tickets straight after cancelling the previous flights and had no issues with this booking. I don't understand why you would not give me a refund when I still bought tickets straight after spending over $2000. Trip.com is another greedy large corp company that couldn't care less about their customers and their wellbeing, only here to extort as much money as possible. There are thousands of reviews from other customers speaking about Trip.com giving false information and refusing refunds. Please stay the heck away from this company.

They refuse to give the money refunded for my cancelled flight cancelled by the airline. Every few days they excuse themselves with an automatic reply, but on the phone, claim to not see the refund from American by their system. According to American, it is a common practice of theirs to withhold (read-steal) funds refunded by the airline for customers. Date of experience: October 24, 2023

Very bad service and want to sell you insurance but when it’s time to use it it’s good for nothing and they want to hag you around and give you the wrong info. I talk to the airline and they told me that the dates are available and there should be no charge but they want to charge me 400 and not even give me the dates i want. On top of it they blocked the ticket so the airline can’t even help me
