“I would give negative star if possible!
Booked 3 flights using the app. Filled in the passengers details, they issued the ticket Messing up my names, put first name as last name and vice versa!
I even have a screenshot on how it appears on the app and how it was completed! Refused to admit any issue on their end and trying to charge more money to change the name, when it's their fault.
Avoid at all cost”
“Totally a misleading company .when you…
Totally a misleading company .when you rent the car they promise a car or like that same car .when we went to collect it the car was very small compared to what we booked .Be true to your customers.
Please look their review on other platforms before booking .”
“WARNING!! DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS ON TRIP.COM - SCRUPULOUS and TERRIBLE SERVICE
Our Air Asia flight bookings made via Trip.com had incorrect details . Air Asia albeit a budget airline was willing to provide credit refund with cancellation fee for the booking amendment . But however TRIP COM rejected air asia kind gesture of credit refund and informed us that no money will be refunded instead . We forwarded written evidence of airasia ‘s willingness to assist in this case , staff from Trip.com refused to oblige and cooperate with the airline . See attached evidence of AirAsia confirmation given for the credit refund
After countless telephone calls and stressful emails , Trip.com offered to return airport tqx which is utterly ridiculous and also NOT in line with Airasia offer .
THiS IS A WARNING TO ALL TRIP.COM MEMBERS.
Do not get TRICK by this website .
The site is scrupulous and not honest . Once you have made payment on their site , they will not help customers anymore .”
“He comprado vuelos con ellos dos veces. Las dos veces he tenido problemas con los vuelos. Y desde trip.com me han dejado tirada como una colilla. La última vez fue a 20 horas del vuelo por un vuelo que había costado mucho dinero. Atención pésima. Nunca más vuelvo a comprar nada con ellos.”
“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Everything is good until there is an issue with one of your bookings, in my case a cancelled flight in June. I have now spent 3 months trying to get the funds back. They promised me the money returned by 26th August, then when it wasn’t returned they they said they were going to escalate it..but they have promised to escalated it about ten times. I’m just stuck in a loop speaking to their hapless support staff. If the airline won’t return the funds then they should themselves, they are the booking agent!
I am in the process of cancelling every single refundable booking and I have 10s of thousands of pounds worth of bookings and booking them directly with the hotel/airline instead. I would highl”
“I booked a hotel on trip.com website long time ago and for medical reasons couldn’t travel. I contacted the hotel and they told me that they don’t mind to refund me and that I have to talk to xpedia team and they should be able to do it for me. I gave them almost 3 weeks notice and explained all the situation and they told me to contact hotel and ask them for refund as they wouldn’t do it. After almost a week talking to both ends xpedia team weren’t helpful at all they were asking me for my private medical documents and after they told me that they won’t refund me at all and there is nothing that they could do about it. I would never recommend this website to anyone as it is very hard to deal with them the support is really poor and not helpful, just a waste of money and time. Will never use they services again. Very disappointed with this company. Better use booking.com or any other platform but not trip.comfor sure!”
“I just bought the airplane tickets from trip.com which was my big mistake. I shouldn’t rely on their information on the website at all. I contacted customer service for help. At first they accepted that it was their fault for misleading information that they put on the website and offered me some coin US$50, but I ask them for alternative options. They replied that they will contact me back… then they just ignore me… This website is NOT reliable as advertised.
I thought it’s better that other websites. You don’t have to search for more information.. you can get it from their website BUT it’s totally wrong. I regret that I trusted them. I bought most of my family airplanes tickets from them for a long, but I won’t trust them anymore. Other websites are better because they tell you to check for more information before buying.”
“Very bad costumer service.
The order of round trip is consumerism of the company.
I order round trip from TLV to Catania and back. Unfortunately our flight to Catania was canceled by Wizz due Vulcan activity.
Trip company told us that the will return only one way ticket because the tickets not recognized as round trip tickets.
Very very bad costumer supporter !!”
“Trip.com are liars they are very frustrating company to deal with I sent all documents regarding my ticket name change they said they are processing still 3 weeks on going I contract virgin they said it's free of charge but as I booked through trip.com I have to wait virgin promptly sent trip.com all details regarding the name change but trip.com are dragging this out they said it be resolved in 72 hours then another 24 hours then another 72 hours then another 48 hours I fly soon what a horrendous DISGUSTING treatment from them lies and more lies this company as cause nothing but stress and anxiety to me think twice before booking”
“rip.com will not give me my refund for a cancelled flight and has been lying to me for months.
Specifically, my return flight was cancelled and I opted for a full refund. Ryanair has been saying since the beginning that they have sent the refund to a bank account. That bank account does not belong to me. That probably means that the money was returned to trip.com although they have never confirmed this. Since then, they have been telling me all sorts of different lies when I ask for my refund either through e mails or phone calls. The most recent lie was that they have requested for a new refund from ryanair, and are waiting for it to process. I know that is invalid since ryanair has been very clear since the beginnning, saying that they have refunded the money. That was around a month ago and i have not heard from them since then. My flight was in July so this has been going on for 3,5 months!
I am certain trip.com is responsible for this because as time went by they kept making invalid claims and changing their story.
It is clear they are just waiting for me to let it go and stop bothering since they have already wasted so much of my time”
“I booked a flight through Trip.com, but they didn't book it. Upon not receiving the tickets, I was awoken to a call from one of their representatives claiming the airline had cancelled the flight and was asking my permission to cancel my booking. Something seemed fishy so I denied and called the airline - and they confirmed the flight was not cancelled. Over the next day, I went back and forth with them as various representatives came up with contradictory lies for why I didn't have tickets (they're still processing - you'll get them, the flight is cancelled, there was a problem with the airline not processing them, etc). Despite claiming that they would resolve the issue, they refused to book me new tickets for my original flight (or a comparative flight on the same day) because the ticket prices had increased since my original purchase.
Ultimately, by the end of many back and forth calls (receiving the last at 2am while I was sleeping - again!) they told me they "could not" book my original ticket and I'd either have to change days to a cheaper flight (which I told them from the beginning was not possible) or cancel my booking and rebook at the new ticket prices (for which they would "compensate" me $27 - although new ticket prices were $150 greater than my original $106 flight. (I have not yet received the refund and have seen many reviews that Trip.com will keep it at "Pending" forever - so I suspect I may have to dispute the charge with my credit card company.)
As they weren't willing to solve the problem, I did - by rebooking at the new, inflated prices with a different provider. I had no issue with the other provider - and received my ticket confirmation immediately.
Lastly, when I went did Trip.com's internal feedback survey, it would not let me submit a negative review! The "Submit" button didn't work - across many browsers!”
“I bought airline tickets from Thailand to Hong Kong on Trip.com. I made a small mistake when ordering and paying, and I only found out about it when I got my ticket in the mail. But thanks to the support, it was fast and most importantly free of charge. I did read the reviews on Trip.com and many of them were negative. I hadn't read them before because I found the aggregator on Revieweek (https://revieweek.com/review/trip/). I do not know about the others, but I had no problems with trip.com.”
