Wouldn’t give one star for after sales… Case C284872 SO-2394081 . Wouldn’t give one star for after sales issue with ONE tile but had to rate something. Less then a year my floor has been down and I have one lifting tile! Question after question from the company eg what was batch number of tile!!?Where is tile situated, what’s underneath?, ( despite also buying the membrane from them which was also recommended by them!) , send pictures which I have duly done , again for one tile which is raising in our conservatory from sun! We called the company before purchasing and was recommended the tiles by them for our conservatory but months and months have passed and question after question from the company has been emailed to me rather then one email which I have to chase as no quick action or quick response ever comes from them. They now want me to remove the skirting board and take pictures! All a great delay tactic to avoid any resolve on their part. It feels that the questions will never stop until they can find a fault on our part and wash their hands of the issue. Please bear this in mind when looking at the guarantee on the product as it’s nonexistent for us. I put this issue to them at the beginning of the year and still silly petty questions every couple of months sent to me but not before I’ve called or emailed to chase! I’ve put the case number into my review as I see all replies from the company to people with my same problem are exactly the same. So many people with exactly the same problems as me, we can’t all be wrong!

The company should renamed Not UKFD but FUKD. Terrible company, I am waiting for my delivery and was giving 4 th date. I still not received any phone calls or emails from delivery company. The customer service is none existing and I had to complain and then received no reply reply on my complaint. The phone tape telling that they have 99% successful delivery rate, not sure how they count it. I will be going through PayPal to have my payment back. I have seen your response as I understand it is a standard response. For 2 weeks I was taking to your customer service more times then I talked to my mother for the same period time, what is the point to call you again? Update the company does not want refund and I am forced to go through PayPal. I would advise everyone who wants to shop, pay though PayPal as the company does not refund and does not delivery product.

Ordered 16 packs of laminate. They delivered a small tube with two pieces of scotia I didn’t even order. I spoke to five staff members over the next 3 days and not one of them phoned me back to update me on where the hell my flooring had been delivered to. One of them promised me they would personally take this on and solve it. No phone call, no email. Nothing. The last person I spoke to told me 100 percent she would call me before the close of business. Nada. No call, no update. Our relationship ended with me screaming down the phone outside B&Q demanding my money be put back into my account so I could actually buy some flooring. Moved in 4 days later than I should causing much chaos and stress. This company do not give a damn beyond the point of taking your money. Avoid at all costs

Customer service is actually a group of people who will throw every excuse in the book at you ro avoid acknowledging their flooring is substandard. Avoid....

Terrible customer service and stock system, employing scamming techniques. After ordering in May I am now currently on an 9 week delay with my flooring. Obviously supply chain issues happen, but the way this company has dealt with it feels scam adjacent to me. When I ordered, the website stated the floor was in stock. I was told by a customer service agent that the website does not actually update to reflect stock levels and ‘they don’t know if it’s in stock until they go to the warehouse’ *after* your order has been placed. So that instantly feels fraudulent to me. I have been given 4 different delivery dates. Every time it got near to the date I was given a new date. Never with any contact or explanation other than a standard email. This makes me feel as though they are getting you to ‘hang on’ rather than simply being honest and telling you it will be an 8 week wait. If they had been honest in the first place, I would have cancelled my order and already have another floor by now. I called two weeks ago and was promised it would definitely be in stock and it would definitely be delivered on a certain date. This was untrue yet again and I have no idea whether my 9 week delay will actually be the end of it. Interestingly when I called this morning, they have ‘no record’ of that previous conversation. Their approach means it is now at the point where the floor is holding up the entirety of my project. I was also promised a refund of my delivery due to the delay when I first called in June, and was told today that hadn’t been processed due to ‘an error’. Do not buy from them if you want to be sure you have a floor at a certain date.

Ordered 40 cases of engineered wood flooring. Delivery fine but halfway through the job discovered it was two different batches that didn't fit together. After many emails and phonecalls (3 weeks later) told that warehouse could not find batch to match laid floor. FUKD suggestion was to take up laid floor, return it and they would generously replace with a batch that matched the boards we had left over. Explained that finished rooms had been decorated, skirting and beading done and furniture back in.. Showed little interest and no urgency in dealing with the issue. No compromise. No offer to foot the bill for recovery work.

I placed my order on the 23rd August for laminate and carpet for my new property after receiving the laminate samples that were nice. I was keen to receive the delivery after 3 working days as UK flooring is advertising on their website and on the phone. Well, today is the 15th September and I haven't received yet the laminate and this is a huge damage to me and the progress of the works: my builder has been stuck for a long time now. I received a partial delivery on the 27th August with just skirtings and laminate underlay and carpet, nothing else, no ground floor laminate, no first-floor laminate, no door profiles. The skirtings arrived damaged, I asked to collect and refund them, they set up a collection date and nobody came. I wrote emails and emails to UK flooring and I called several times the customer service. Every time they reply they need to investigate what happened with their delivery company and that they will call me back the day after once they have further information. I have never received a phone call back so far. In addition, during one of my latest phone calls, the customer service told me that their delivery company is saying they delivered all laminate on the 27th August. What??? I received only the partial delivery and NO LAMINATE!!! If UK flooring has a problem with their delivery company, this cannot be a problem for the client. They don't have a control system in place, there is no way to track the delivery and there is miscommunication between UK flooring and their delivery company. UK flooring promised several times to deliver the missing items, but nobody turned up. This is unacceptable! I placed an order of 2100£, I received damaged skirtings, laminate underlay and carpet for a value of 1000£, and I am still waiting for my laminate for a value of more than 1000 pounds! I want a full refund and to return the items I received. THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE, WORST SERVICE EVER!

Regret ordering from this company. It was one of the worst experiences with deliveries. We ordered 16 boxed of laminate (order worth over £400) and delivery had to arrive before 12pm. It was not easy to get half day off at work but that’S fine. Eventually, I promised to be at work at 1pm the latest. Me getting hundreds phone calls from work and sorting issues there and trying to call customer service to find out where my delivery is, such a stressful morning (and AM delivery cost more than regular and I paid it to be sure I will be at work at 1pm). Delivery arrived at 2.30pm. Nobody called to inform me that there is a delay or anything. Of course! As people make plans and that’s why they pay more for early delivery. But here this story just begins. What shock we had when after unpacking we found out that 10 boxed were damaged and unsuitable to use! Ir all happened few days before Xmas and we were expecting our family to come for Xmas to our new home and girl in customer service said there is no chance we are getting replacement before Christmas. Another disappointment with this company and ruined Christmas! (Separate thank you for this UK Flooring!!). Delivery was re-planned for 27th of Dec. What a surprise I had on 24th of Dec morning when I saw email that my delivery was planned to arrive TODAY! (It would not have helped to save Christmas but ok... ) Changed all plans quickly, got delivery of ....6 boxes... the rest 4 were still coming on 27th... what???? On Long-waited 27th we received last 4 boxed hoping we will finish the floor. I have to say, that we miscalculated and after laying all laminate we were still 3 boxes short. So I ordered 3 more expecting them on Friday.. on Friday, after waiting for them for half day I had a late call that they did not load our order and it will arrive on Tuesday (third time changing my plans and trying to get time off at work). On Tuesday 3 boxes arrived with TWO of them damaged! Never ever I will approach this company again! So much stress, time consuming, ruined Christmas... I don’t understand how this company exists with such a horrible service!

I have received wrong wood floor. After immediatelly calling the customer service and providing photos of the wrong one I was told that the replacemente order (collection+delivery) would have been done in 2 days. I took the day off from work to accept delivery but the order was not delivered. So i called the customer service again and after more than half an hour waiting I've been told that delivery was scheduled for the following day. Again day off from work and again never delivered. Same thing happened other 2 times (totally 4 day off from work and 4 missed deliveries) and finally I've been told that the warehouse hasn't received photos because the customer service hasn't sent them. I sent the photos again and finally the delivery happened after more than 2 weeks since the wrong delivery. I had to took 5 days off from work, re-schedule professional installation 2 times, call customer service 15 times and keep wrong floor in my living room for 2 weeks like a warehouse. Worst customer service ever. I'll never buy anything from them again.

Awful. Simply put, they took my money readily, then my goods vanished into thin air and flooring direct just don’t care! It’s been missing for 5 days now and has cost me a small fortune in pre-booked labour I couldn’t use. They are crooks and their “customer service” is rude and worse than useless. They outsource to couriers they are not in touch with, know nothing about and can’t track. Avoid this company at all costs!!

Awful company! Took day off work to receive delivery which never arrived. Told me would be next day 'sometime'. After much persuading (no offer of this or even an apology), agreed to give me morning slot as would be waiting in with baby potentially for 10 hours otherwise. Cancelled paid for baby activity and entertained baby in house all morning waiting for delivery only to be told at 11.30 that it would now be the afternoon 'sometime.' Totally incompetent and do not care, have no respect for their customers. Avoid

UKFD emailed me twice postponing my delivery. The third delivery date given would have been over 2 weeks after I was meant to receive the product. No replies to emails, I would suggest there is no point in using this, make sure you call. Do not let the customer services reps offer to call you back while they investigate, they did not call back a single time (I gave 48 hours each time)! A refund of the AM preferred delivery fee was promised but was never actioned. I eventually cancelled the entire order and went elsewhere as I lost all confidence in this company. I would never use again.

Good engineered floors and arrived surprisingly in time and well. That's however where my luck with UK flooring direct has ended. Ordered End profiles for my floors, instead they sent to me T shape profiles. I called them and sent emails with links explaining exactly what went wrong, only to have a delusional support chap to demand and insist that I to provide the actual pictures of the wrong items they sent to me. Asked for a refund and they went radio silent. Will shop elsewhere no matter how cheap their prices appear to be.

Good quality product, terrible delivery. Stressful process. I had ordered laminate online and I chose the delivery date while ordering online. Then the company changed the delivery date without my consent. I called the customer service, they re-arranged the delivery day to the original day. Then they re-changed it without my consent. The customer service told me that one of the packages was not available and that’s why they had to change the delivery date. They said they will send me someone else’s product as I needed them urgently. Products came, but one box of laminate was broken. They replaced it, but that was broken, too. So overall, it was an unsatisfactory, stressful process. Sad but true.

Do not purchase from this company. Spent more than 2000 pounds and have items missing in deliveries. Customer service attitude were bad, do not take ownership and just said all the items are checked and delivered. Average quality and average value for money. Could be competitive if provides good customer service but apparently not. I suggest going to alternative site as you risk being scammed buying here due to poor quality control in warehouse packing and customer service.
