“We’ve had a years experience at Grondre Tourer site and was going ok , The last month went downhill for us as not been able to stay and a lot has happened as we’ve now found out with not very good communication from the park reception and upon our return we find that our lights outside our caravan have been taken, all you had to do was ask us if you were that desperate for lights rather than run away , quite sad if you ask me. A lot of angry and sad people who have been there ten or twenty years .”

“We have just came back from woodland vale holiday park the staff on arrival were very nice and helpful but when I got to our caravan the beds weren't made as I asked as ive have disability and I really bad back so I struggled to make them, went to the bar for our evening meal and the staff weren't nice and snappy when asked if we could sit in as we weren't sure with the covid and wasn't sure with myself being in a wheelchair. There wasn't much choice with food and would recommend booking restaurant before you go as everyone near by was fully booked up. The caravan was clean with cobwebs on the lights but all in all we had a good holiday just a bit let down with the park yes I should have said something to the staff but am recovering from a very bad illness.”

“Stayed at gilfach. When we arrived. We were told there was no pressure in the shower. From time to time.(all the time) 2 off the 3 lights in the bathroom were not working. Would it be ok for an electrician to come and have a look if we weren’t in. We said yes no problem. Never turned up. After 2 days other one stopped working. Showered by phone light for 2days. On leaving reported the issue. No apology. Also informed them decking lighting not working. Oh that doesn’t work we have disconnected it due to it tripping the chalet when turned on. Don’t advertise if it doesn’t work. Overpriced”

“Very disappointed this year with our summer break in Grondre Holiday Park, arrived and pitch still occupied. As we unhitched and put the feet down dogs dirt everywhere. Absolutely disgusting, all around underneath my van and in the field at the back of it. Which I did clean up because my family was gagging at the smell. Even the guy that directed me in looked at his feet and said " that's strong I must of stepped in something". There were groups of youths in the evening from 10 until 12 walking up and down the pitches swearing, it was loud because everyone else was quiet. Not happy at all, we all enjoy some fun and party in the evenings, but the groups were pacing up and down the caravans having very loud conversations laughing and swearing into the night. It was frightening on some occasions, as I had my grandson of 5 years old and had enjoyed his day and was woken in tears because of them. My whole family have visited your site with their friends with their vans regularly and we are all thinking the same, the site is not as pleasant as it used to be. The cleanliness of the pitches are not the same. Thank you for giving me my opinion.”

“Security staff asking you to keep it down when your just talking to your family, very rude, staff not cleaning tables for you to sit down , just felt like it was an inconvenience for you to be there x very disappointing , caravan was good , as was the pool”

“caravan was outside reception area vans and cars slamming doors from 6.45 am as staff started work. Constant noise as staff calling to each other and talking outside where we were trying to sleep.worst holiday we have had there.”

“We camped for the first time and chose a Vale camp as they said they would police noise levels on their family friendly site. This was not the case and we were kept awake until 3am by loud caravanners with their sound systems and incredibly loud voices. Shower block was clean and easy to access, and staff were friendly, but we will not be returning. At 5am we packed up our tent and went home.”

“Freezing caravan, no radiators in bedrooms no heaters available and was supposed to be a silver deluxe caravan but looked like it had been recovered from a gypsy site after they'd moved on to something better.”
